upload a gif to imgur.com and then copy and paste the full image url into the "background image" field when editing your profile. Make sure the imgur url has the .gif on the end of it. reply

Quarantine has been ok for me and my family. Sadly, being stuck at home did not change my life much. I’ve been working from home since 2009. reply

Thank you! It certainly wasn't anything I expected almost 10 years ago, but i'm happy! How has quarantine been for you? It's so odd that just saying that has become the new norm. One day 10 years from now, i'll log back on and see this comment and remember the mess that 2020 was. reply

I think I fixed this problem. It was a server misconfiguration. You should be able to upload images up to 8MB in size now. reply

Probably too big. I’ll have to increase the file size limit to support more modern phone picture sizes. I’ll let you know when I update it - probably tonight. reply

Hi there. I just migrated Witty Profiles to a new server. Did you recently remove your picture or try to update it? It looks like there might be a problem. reply

Yes. I was trying to update my picture when it failed and gave me a random cat, even with local files that had previously uploaded OK. I tried a few days later and it worked, so I'm guessing you already fixed it. Something else that's still broken is the tags. Newly added quotes lose their user-typed tags when submitted and get the default "quote" tag instead. reply
