   CHAPTER 5: Nick
   I was on my way to the cafeteria and was stcuk walking behind two guys. I overheard them talking about "Sam's Band". "Dude c'mon you know Savannah has nothing on Sam. Sam's band is the best and there's no one in town who doesn't know that." Said the guy with sand colored hair. "I know. But from what I heard the spot for Prom is gonna have to be battled out." Said the other guy.
   Bands? This caught my attention, and I suddenly missed my old home. I missed the guys, missed the days when MY band was the best. The days before the accident before my life had changed. They finally started walking faster and then disappeared when they got to the cafeteria. I grabbed my food and turned to see Savannah coming and wrapping her around through mine. "I saved you a seat." She said smiling. I gave her a small smile. I then caught that girl from earlier looking at me. We made eye contact and then she quickly turned around and grabbed her stuff and left. "I have to go somewhere," I said slipping away from Savannah. I threw away my tray of food and followed the girl.
   I lost her when a group of people got in my way. I was about to give up when I passed by the auditorium and heard someone playing the guitar. i stood in the doorway just watching and listening. It was her, she was singing and playing sitting on the edge of the stage. Quietly I made my way to stage. "That was amazing." I told her in awe. It startled her, I guess she hadn't heard me come in. She smiled, "Thanks." "Why'd you leave when you saw me?" I asked her not able to resist the urge of asking. "No reason. I usually come here to play when I need to clear my mind." I didn't even have the chance to ask her what she meant because the bell rang. She got up and I followed behind. When she reached the door she paused and said, "I'm Sam by the way." Then she walked away. I stood there for a few seconds, so she was Sam. i smiled, we already have one thing in common.

   CHAPTER 4: Sam
   Mr.Stanley sent me with a big pile of books down to the bookroom. It was hard to walk down the steps, but I kept going, and then some guy crashes into me.My books flew all over the place, "If you weren't so caught up looking at that damn paper, maybe you'd learn how to walk!", I screamed at him. "I'm sorry," he said bending down to pick up the books. "Here" he said standing and handing me the books. I recognized his face, but I just couldn't remember from where. He was a tall and average built guy. He looked me straight in the eyes, he had green eyes, he didn't seem to notice when i raised my eyebrow questioning why he was staring at me. He had light brown and gold hair. He was wearing a gray button up shirt and black jeans, with a pair of white chucks. "You must be the new--" , i said not even finishing the sentence when i saw Savannah walking towards us."Yeah I'm Nick how'd ya know?" He said , understanding what I was trying to say. "Room 138 is that way." I told him pointing towards down the hall. As he turned around to see Savannah had reached us. Being the girly girl that she is she chose to wear pink. A pink sweater, pink shorts, pink ballet flats, and pink and gold bracelets. Of course they were different shades of pink. Savannah looked great like she always did, long blonde hair blue eyed girl of course she always looked good. "Hi you must be the new guy. I'm Savannah" she said in her annoying high pitched voice. She turned to look at me, with hate in her eyes. "See you later."I told Nick walking away and purposely bumping into Savannah.
   "You won't believe what just happened to me." I told Jane as soon as I sat down. "Spill," she said scooting her chair to face me. "Well rumors are true there is a new guy in school. And i don't know why but he seems familiar. Anyways point is he crashed into me. Then Savannah shows up, giving me that evil glare of hers." I said. "Ew Savannah. And this new kid what about him? He crashed into you, big deal." Jane said. I shrugged and right then the bell rang.
   Finally it was time for lunch after being in class for a few hours. We walked to the cafeteria where Dan and the rest of the guys were already waiting for us.

   I wasn't paying attention to where I was going because i was too busy looking at my schedule, and thats when I crashed into her. One minute I was walking and next thing I know books are flying all over the place. "If you weren't so caught up looking at that damn paper, maybe you'd learn how to walk!"
   She screamed at me. "I'm sorry." I told her, bending down to pick up the books. "Here." I said finally standing up and looking at her for the first time. I froze in place, she was beautiful. Dark hair tied in a ponytail. The nicest shade of light brown eyes set in a round face. She wore red lipstick which brought out her light skin. She was also tall and slim. Although, she wore all black; black pants, a black Strokes tee, and a black leather jacket. And a pair of black combat boots.
   "You must be the new." She said looking at me with curious eyes. "I'm Nick, and yeah how'd ya' know?" I asked her. "Room 138 is that way." She said pointing down the hall. As i turned to see where she pointed I saw a girl approaching us. "You're the new guy right? Hi, I'm Savannah." She said in a high pitched voice taking a satnd next to the stairs. "See you later."Said the other girl walking down the rest of the stairs and bumping into Savannah. I watched her walk away and then turned to see Savannah smiling at me. She was so different than the other girl. She was blonde with blue eyes. Quite tall though, but skinny instead of slim. A girly girl i thought from her outfit, all pink. "Savannah you said right? I'm Nick." I told her giving her a half hearted smile.
   Turns out that we had the same class so she gladly walked with me too class. The whole way there she kept asking me questions, some I answered others I just ignored. Fortunately we made it to class before she could ask me more questions. The art teacher, Ms.Red, gave us assigned seats which i was pretty grateful for. We worked on describing the house of our dreams until the bell rang for next class.
   I made my way through 2 more classes when finally the lunch bell rang. I went to put my stuff in my locker and walked to the cafeteria.

   "Dan left already didn't he"?, I asked as I grabbed my things and headed for the door. "Yeah, he left pretty early. He said that you'd probably be mad until you opened the door," she said from thr kitchen. Dan is insane, I thought to myself as i was opening the door. "Or maybe not", I smiled when i saw my motorcycle parked in the driveway.
   I saw Dan waiting for me when i arrived at the parking lot. "Thanks," I said walking towards him. He smiled and threw his arm around my shoulder. We walked into school together and quickly found Jane. As soon as she saw us she ran into the arms of my brother. I had to admit I still hadn't gotten used to my brother and bestfriend dating eachother. "Sam!"She screamed when she finally let go of Dan and gave me a tight hug. The bell rang and I walked to class with Jane, we always had all of our classes together.

   CHAPTER 1:Nick
   As i sat there staring at my bowl of cereal I couldn't help but think about how my life had completely changed over the summer.I sighed as I remembered how everything went down. School is starting today, and I'm dreading it. Not like average teens do, however, but because its a new school, in a new city.
   "Son, hurry up or you'll be late to school." Mom said walking down the stairs. I got up from the table and grabbed my stuff off the couch. I ran out the door and into my car and drove to school.
   As i arrived at the school parking lot I was glad to find a space, the lot was full.
   I sat there for a few minutes not wanting to go in until the bell rang, I didn't wanna hear anyone talking about me, the new kid. I looked up into my rearview mirror when i caught sight of a sparkly light shining in my side mirror. Parked behind me was a shiny red Harley motorcycle."What a cool ride", I murmured getting out of my car. Gotta be brave, I thought as I made my way to the main office. By the time I made it to the office there was only a few people walking in, all a bit to preoccupied to even notice me.
   "Goodmorning sweetheart, how may I help you"? , said a nice lady behind a desk piled with folders. "Hi, I'm Nicholas Wolfe. I'm new and I need my schedule." I told her giving her a small smile. She rummaged through some papers on her desk and then finally handed me my schedule. "Here you go.Have a good day now." She said turning back to her desk.
   I got out of the office and slowly made my way to my first class.
