No, worries, I feel the exact same.
Yeah, it is weird. I always expect people I interact with online to be significantly older than me, and to have somebody with whom I get along and all to be my own age is awesome.
Ahhhh, I see what you're saying. That's how I am if I ever help my brother with anything. I'm a lot more impatient with my family, so it lends to me not being good at helping my brother out as far as teaching him stuff goes.
I think I want to frame that thought and put it on my wall: "where finesse can't be found, enthusiasm always makes up for the roughness"
I'm pretty average as far as height is concerned, but I am tall for my family! I have one friend who is about 6'1", and I always joke about how I'm tall with her. It's fun. And hey, I pictured you on the shorter side, so that's really cool(:

That makes a lot of sense. I think it's really interesting how a parent's behaviour can make it so that their child is on the opposite end of the given spectrum. Either the apple falls near the tree truck or it is thrown across the orchard, so to speak.
I don't know if I want one. Maybe? I think once I get my licence (we have a bunch of levels of driving licences where I live), I might apply for something at the dollar store, but I'm quite apprehensive about the whole thing, if I'm totally honest. It's really intimidating.

I never notice anybody likes me until it's too late and whoever is either no longer interested (which can be quite disappointing) or has stopped talking to me for me not reciprocating their ~~feelings~~ (which can be quite irritating because I'm usually friends with these people first).
I feel the guilt thing, though. The other day in English class we were talking about unrequited love, and this one group of people shared their thoughts with the class that the "aimé" [I can't think of a good English equivalent at the moment. Person of affection?] is at fault when problems arise from the situation, which is an idea that didn't sit very well with me.
I'm pretty turned off from relationships, too, honestly. Like I'll have interest in people, but I seldom see the point of doing any more than keeping a platonic relationship. I might not turn somebody away if there was mutual interest and I was feeling good about the whole thing, but I have no desire to "persue" people at all.

I'm glad you're schedule is good, even if you're not with your friend. The friend I've been telling you about has turned her back on all of the sciences (all of which I have taken), so I don't really have anything with her either. Perhaps French, though.
Ahh, I'm May of '99. I assumed we were born in the same year, hahaha.
Oh, I feel similarly to you there. The constant interaction would be exhausting for me. I really like teaching other people, though. I'll tutor a lot of my friends and all that, so it's always been something on my mind. There is definitely an oversupply of them, though, and I'm not sure that's something I'm willing to put up with, in addition to the education system, etc etc.
I'm so falttered to hear that you think I'm good with words. I feel like I'm really bad at getting the general feeling of what I'm experiencing across, which you seem to do wonderfully (though, of course, I don't know what you're feeling either), so it means a lot.(:
Yes, oh, I agree! I honestly always picture you to look an awful lot like me, even though that may not be the case.
Honestly, even though I'm the older sibling, I may be more babied than my brother. It may be a mixture of my mother being really hovering and learning that that's not always helpful and my being a girl. I'm not sure. But yeah, I feel what you're saying, especially on the job thing. It feels like everybody has a job, you know? And all of my aunts and uncles and older cousins always, always bring it up. However, I can't imagine it either. The idea makes me really anxious.
I'm also really lacking as well as naive in regards to romantic things, haha. It's interesting. It also results in me being the worst ever at picking up hints, which further results in a lot of awkward experiences.

Man, I'm still not ready for summer to end. The actual summer itself is not my thing, but I'd be willing to put up with worse if it means not having to go back to school. This summer has been a good one.
Ahh, looking at your profile, it seems I will! My birthday's in May, so I'll have to wait a few months before hunting you down(;
I think it's awesome that you want to go into pediatrics, too. I always wanted a career involving kids, helping them out. I thought of being a teacher for the longest time, because my teachers always greatly impacted me, but pediatrics is best suited for me I think.

I'm glad to hear that despite your tough childhood, you can still smile about the good things. Also, putting crafts on the fridge sounds fantastic and adorable.
There's no need to apologise for bringing a more serious tone to our conversation, by the way(:
And yeah, I understand, in a way. I had some pretty tough times when I was young that definitely affected the tone of my childhood, but didn't really change the shape of it (so to speak) too much. As a teenager, though, I have a great amount of difficulties with my parents that are health related. I want to get tests for x and y and for z and w when I can't tell them that because they either ignore my concerns or would freak out. My communication with a doctor I don't trust is almost nothing. I am looking forward to a great many things when I move out to go to university, and controlling my health is one of them. I mean, I don't know if this happens to other people, but I want to make that a lot easier for children, if possible, in addition to helping with their ear infections and the like. Make sure they get therapy if they need therapy, make sure that they get information that's medically accurate without having to worry about losing anything, make sure they feel safe enough to say things that are tough though important to say. I'd like to make sure that whatever children I look after don't have to worry until they turn eighteen to have a trusted physician who tends to their health.
(My apologies for ranting.)

Oh, that's cool. My brother is eleven, so I can't really imagine feeling more similar in age/maturity with him. It sounds like a lovely dynamic, though.
That's awesome how you complement each other(: It's fantastic to hear about a friendship like that.

HEY my Internet has become nice again.
*sympathy cookies* (they're chocolate chip)
That sounds kind of awful. In between seasons are always awful for me. It results in headaches and bodyaches and emotionaches. It's not fun.(': Honest-to-god winter is preferable, I find.
Ugh, I can relate to that. Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I get basically paralyzed and can't do anything.
That sounds fantastic, oh my gosh. When I'm 21, I'll go to all the bars I can find in the States and try to find a pediatrician bartender, hahaha. That would be delightful. (Also, I also intend to be a pediatrician, so that's cool!)
I agree with that. I think I'm getting better at the advice thing, but listening really is my specialty, haha.

What you said about childhood is really interesting, and I have a little thing that's sort of off-topic but I have been thinking about, so: I have a lot of memories from when I was little that are really stupid but I still very much retain. Little things people have said to me that you would think really wouldn't affect me, and whenever I tell people of any of them, they sort of laugh. "You still remember that?" You know. But it's interesting because it's all of those little moments that were really formative for my character. The "bigger" things affected me, I'm sure, but the smaller ones tend to have more noticable effects.
But yes, in regards to what you actually said, I agree with you as well. Watching kids be kids makes me so happy. A recent trend on my street has been lemonade stands, and I love it. I also saw a bunch of kids with waterbottles by their rear tires (similar to where people used to put cards) to make the sound of a motor bike. And those things weren't huge, but thinking of them makes me immensely happy.

Ah, that makes sense. Are you two close in age? (I have a brother, but we're five years apart.)
Also, that's really neat how she acclimates to other people. I do that to certain things (gestures and expressions and such), but not too too much. It's cool how she does that^^

Oh, I'm sorry! Allergies are brutal; nobody should have to endure them.
That's kind of interesting how you guys over react to snow. Where I live in Canada, we actually don't get thaaaat much snow, compared to most other places, if I'm not mistaken, so I always feel like a wimp complaining about it, hahaha.
Oh, I feel that. Social situations can be very draining. Especially parties and the like. :(
That's really interesting, because I'm pretty similar. I always finding myself saying that I feel like the bartender everybody walks up to of their own accord to spill their guts out to. It's very peculiar, because I am the worst person at advice. Mind you, I do seek a fair amount of it out myself, but that's mostly because I love hearing childhood stories.
I don't think there's a single person I've confided everything into either, but it's peculiar in a way because I still retain very few secrets. Nobody knows everything, but almost everything is known by somebody. Of course, what anybody knows about me is always sugar-coated.
Ah, that's neat. My friend and I are pretty different politically and stuff (so I often find myself biting my tongue, ahaha), but we share many of the same quirks which I suppose is some sort of glue.
That is a very true observation. I really love that about poetry.

Ah, that would be nice. This last Christmas break, I spent all of my time completing summative projects, which wasn't fun. Also, it's interesting that you have make-up days for snow. I don't think we have to unless we have a lot of snow days. Maybe they already insert them into the school calendar, though, for us.
That's a mess. A fun mess, but a mess. I admire your endurance~
I relate to you on the standards thing. And I'm glad you got a good report card! I haven't seen mine yet, but I'm pretty sure I did alright. Cheers to us!
Yeah, I'm like that, too. I also don't find that much enjoyment in being bubbly/energetic, which poses a problem. I'm lucky, though, because there's a French program at our school that I've been in since kindergarten (as have most other people in the program). There are probably about forty of us, so we all know each other well and have a lot of classes together. Instafriends.
I think it's cool how you have one friend that you're with because you have so much history. Come to this of it, I have a friend like that, too. I never even considered that that was the binding of our relationship before. That's so interesting!
Ah, then cheers to a great haircut!(:
Yeah, bringing awareness I suppose would really be a good idea. That would make sense.

We tend to start the first or second week of September. Which I'm cool with! Personally, I think I like school running later into the school year. As soon as late-May/early-June arrives, everything feels light and jovial. Though I suppose not working all through June would be nice, too, hahaha.
Oh my gosh, that's intense. I can't even imagine having to deal with so many parties/gatherings and such. I hope everybody had lovely birthdays, in any case.
I also hope you are well now! I'm glad you got to sleep a lot in any case; sleeping whilst one is sick brings a lovely sort of relief that can never be replicated when one is well.
Ah, good job! I adore math class, and getting 100 on anything that pertains to it is always a delight.(:
Yeah, I understand that. That's a very kind way to think about the situation.
It's a shame, but our friend groups are pretty different anyway, so I'm not sure anything other than some sort of forced friendship would have been able to come out of it. Nothing is soured this way and it still makes me happy.
I'm glad you're free from your bad hair cut, then.^^
*applauds your award speech*
That's very true. Romanticising that sort of stuff, though I suppose possible, isn't really fair to anybody that's endured it, either. Lose/lose situation.

Exams are done! School is done! Freedom!
What have you been up to whilst I was cramming for exams? Other than the sports anime, perhaps.(;
Man, exemptions sound glorious. The English exam sounds kind of awful though. I wonder what the reasoning is for not having everybody do the same exam. I'm sorry you got all of the essays, in any case.
Yes, putting a name to the disorder is sooo relieving. It gives me the sense that I'm not the only one and everything. But yeah, I never really endedup having a conversation with my disorder-pal—just knowing that somebody else exists is more than enough, though.
Ahh, short bangs are really cute, though! I'm sure they look great. :)
You are the best online friend~ Three cheers for Internet safety!
The nature side of American lit. sounds much more appealing than the nature side. War poems (and war writing in general) has never really been that interesting to me.
Thank you!

Ahhh, I'm so jealous! I have until the 24th, and I didn't even know exam exemptions were still a thing anywhere! That's awesome~~
Good luck on English!
Thank you! On Friday, I met somebody else who has this disorder that I have, and I was just so pumped. Other people like me exisssssssst! And just...I appreciate it so much that you feel as though I deserve for something lovely to happen to me. (I hope you can feel the appreciation I'm trying to send you.)
I love that! Ty sounds awesome.(:
You are a wreck(': I mean, at least that means you get out and have fun, so a good sort of wreck~
Ahh, thanks for the heads up! A virus would be an absolute nightmare. ><
(I don't have time to read the poem at this moment, but I totally will and tell you my thoughts~~)
Aha, I definitely feel like American lit. wouldn't be my type of poetry. I don't have much of an idea of what it is exactly, to be honest (Canada problems), but it feels sort of eh, ahaha.
Thanks! I hope I don't need it(;

Sh, it's fine; I took forever to reply to you anyway.
They've actually been really nice this year. Maybe I'm starting to outgrow them? *knocks on wood*
Yes, they alleviate soooo much stress—it's unreal. Sometimes I wish to tell them so, but some of us actually don't ever drop the facade that we hate each other, so it's hard to find opportunities, haha.
OH MY WORD OKAY WOW THAT SOUNDS HORRIFYING. I can't even imagine that. Also, I wouldn't be able to touch a bug with a ten-foot pole if I had had that experience wow.
I'll try to hold out on it until the summer, ahaha; my finals don't need any distractions(': (My friend was talking about how she always gets hooked on television shows right before exams, and I don't even...it sounds terrifying and torturous, haha.)
Ahhhhhhhhhhh, I'm sooo jealous. I've never actually studied poetry in high school English classes, and it's killing me. That's super cool~~ What sort of stuff are you reading/writing?

Yes, feel awful for me. (I don't have asthma, though, so feel worse for your friend.) My allergies actually aren't all that bad this year (yet?), but when I was little, they really did suck the fun out of spring.
Ah, that's awesome. I grew up with most of my 'bicker buddies,' so I think that's why we're so comfortable being mean to each other, haha.
Uh, bugs are awful. I can't decide whether they would be worse with long or short hair. (Would hair make a difference?)
Aww D:
I haven't heard of Popcorn Time. I looked it up quickly and it seems neat~

Spring is in the air! (I can smell the allergies~)
Those are positively the best friendships. I also like those friendships where you can barely admit somebody is your friend because the whole relationship is based off of you being awful to each other (or maybe that's just me idk, haha). They're fun.
Ahhhhhhhhhh, hot weather and long hair. D:
Books that give one angst are the best books. I'm excited about it now, and I haven't even read it.

This profile though. (It's fantastic.)
It sounds like a lovely friendship.
I have one friend that I have discovered really likes pretty language. (The fluffy Tumblr sort of pretty language, if you follow what I mean by that.) I have literally been shoving as many words at her as I can (and she's been doing the same back), and it has been glorious. True friendship, indeed.
Short hair must be so much easier. I basically live in ponytails with my long hair, hahaha.
Too many beautiful stories. They're everywhere!

Same (though I don't show my friends all that much bc I'm easily embarassed, haha). I love it when I write things that are really questionable and make really little sense, and my friends just really like it and/or raise eyebrows at its ridiculousness with me.
That's pretty cool. I look awful with short hair, tbh, so I'm trying to grow it out long, but I feel like I'm going to get tired and shave my head eventually.
That's really fantastic how literature is so flexible. Ah, I would like to try to get my hands on that book now.
I've heard of the novels but have never read them. I would like to eventually, but from what I could tell, there was a lot of hype about them, which put me off. I was waiting until it died down. I should read it soon.
(I already have so many books to read, hahaha; finding so many more books I would like to read is simultaneously lovely and a problem.)
Exactly. It's a pretty stange relationship that celebrities have with the rest of society.

Weird brain things are the best, though.
Oh, that sounds like me at basically any social event; I feel your pain.
I meant that it was lovely in that it is really considerate. A lot of people cut their hair even if it means nothing to them and never consider donating, you know?
Yes, I agree! I may associate with my computer with having a low attention span or being distracted, myself; I can never focus whilst in front of a screen.
I feel like that is literarily lovely, though, in a way, how the macabre made casual makes it more awful.
Really? I've heard it spoken about and referenced to on the Internet all of the time, yet you don't know it and neither to any of my meatspace frieinds. I thought it was a really big thing. (In any case, it wasn't that good.)
I am awful. With movies, too. I am just worthless at remembering that stuff, hahaha.
