Chapter 3
I walked in and went to talk to Mr. Berns, my homeroom teacher.
"Ah! You must be Taylor!" he said when he saw me.
"Just take an empty seat anywhere." he told me.
I looked around and saw an empty seat in the back of the classroom.
Then the bell rang for first period. I had to go to Honors history. I took a seat in the back of the class and listened to the teacher talk about Ancient China. I loved History. I could learn about it all day. Unfortunatly the period ended sooner than I hoped. My next class was Algebra 2 honors. I know what youre thinking honors? Yes. I am a nerd. Straight A's every term.
Algebra went by much slower than history did, but it eventually did end. Third period I had cooking. Cooking was an easy A. I walked into class and saw we had assigned seats based on last name. I was cooking patners with a boy named Harry Styles. He was my partner because my last name was Sutton, we were the last station because 'S' was at the end of the alphabet. He wasnt in the classroom yet, so I was sitting at our work station alone for a few moments.
Then he came in.
"Hello Taylor." I heard him say to me.
"Hi." I smiled when I turned around.
"Its nice to meet you. Ive heard so many things about you." he smiled.
"Well I hope they were good." I joked.
"Nothing compared to the actual thing." he winked.
I blushed and looked away.
After we finished the smoothies (5 minutes earlier than expected) he started talking to me. He asked me where I was from, why I came here, yada yada.
"So what are you doing after school today?" he asked.
"Well I heard there was a soccer game, so I wanted to watch that, then I thought id start unpacking." I told him.
"Well im playing in the soccer game, but would you consider postponing the unpacking and maybe hanging with me?"
"Well honestly Id definetly consider that, but I met someone who wanted to hang after the game as well." I told him suddenly remembering Niall.
"Oh, who?" he asked sounding upset.
"His name's Niall. I dont know his last name." I told him.
"Oh! Niall! He's my one of my bestfriends! How bout all of us hang out?" Harry suggested.
"Who's all of us?" I asked unsure.
"Me, Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn. We're like inseperable." he said laughing.
"Well, okay." I sighed.
"Harry, Taylor A+ for the day." The teacher told us, interrupting our conversation.

4th period Honors English, 5th period was lunch, then 6th period gym. My entire gym class consisted of boys and girls, the boys being extremely good looking like always, and the girls all being blonde bimbos who are caked in makeup and were wearing their gym uniforms at least 3 sizes too small. I walked out to see that Harry and Niall were both in my gym class. I saw Harry waving me over so I walked over to the both.
"Hey Taylor!" they both said.
"Hi."
"So what are you going to do for gym?" Niall asked me.
"Uhmmm, I dont know...they let you chose what you do?" i asked shocked.
"Yeah! You can either do Basketball, Track and field or football." they told me.
"Most of the girls do Basketball so they dont have to actually do anything." Harry said laughing.
"Skrew that! Im playing soccer." I said.
"The guys usually play football..." Harry said awkwardly.
"Does it look like I care? I've played with and against the guys at my old school and schooled them." I told them.
"Are you sure?" Harry asked unbelievingly.
"Dude, let her play." Niall said.
"Thank you." I said.
I walked out onto the field that I was in love with and they divided into teams.
Of course I was the last one picked, but thats to be expected when youre the only girl out there playing. But on the brightside I was the 11th player so the teams were now fair, according to them. They stuck me in goal so I wouldnt do any harm. But what they didnt know was that that was the exact place I played on my old team, it was were I thrived.
They started their little game and I realized that my team sucked. The teams must have been soccer team, against the wannabe soccer team. I was on the wannabe soccer team. its lucky for them, they had me as goalie. By the end of the class the game ended in a tie, which never happened before.
"Woah Taylor! That was incredible!" Niall said running up to me as we walkd back into the school.
"Thanks." I smiled.
"Youre really good." Harry said catching up to me and Niall.
"Thanks."
"How are you so good?" Harry asked.
"Starting goalie on varsity at my old school." I told them.
"Woah! Thanks awesome!" Harry said shocked.
"Dont sound so surprised!" I said hitting his shoulder.
"Sorry, but I am!" he laughed.
"Well, looks like the teams may be switched tomorrow." Niall joked.
After 6th period I had honors chemistry, the last period of the day! I had never taken chemestry before, so I was a little hesitant walking in in the beginning of November.
"Ms. Sutton you can take a seat next to Mr. Horan." he said poitning to Niall in the back of the classroom.
"Honors chem?" he asked me.
"Honors everything for me." I laughed.
"Ahh so youre a nerd?" he joked.
"Probably the biggest nerd you'll ever meet." I played along.
