To Good To Be True
That one cool crisp morning I woke up and the first thing I saw was my phone lit up, I knew it must have been him. Hewas the only one who ever texted me so early in the morning. I got ready for school that morning like any other, but I hadnt looked at my phone yet, I figured it was the same good morning text I always get, and thought it could wait. When I got to school I was waiting for the day to start and for all the kids to be let into the building. I remembered I still needed to check my phone. So I took it out of my pocket and stared reading. This message was much longer then good morning, it had said "Hey babe, im really sorry I have to do this." I had no idea what he ment so I went around looking for him, I couldnt seem to find him till second period. When I talked to him he asked "why didnt you answer my text?" so i told him "It seemed importaint so I thought we should talk in person." All he did was look down at the floor, he looked sad, almost like he had done something wrong. "What is it?" I asked. There was no responce. After a long pause he finially looked up and said, "we need to break up, im sorry I found someone else who I get to see more because I actually have the same classes as her, unlike us." All i could do was cry and try to get out these words "I knew this was too good to be true."
