Spring Fling
part one
I remembered the day I met Brett like it was yesterday, and I relive it everyday.
I was laying on a pink and green polkadotted beach towel tanning when someone kicked sand on my face.
"Gabrielle! That's not funny!" I said sitting up.
"Names Brett, not Gabrielle. Sorry for uh.. you know.. kicking sand in your face he said smiling."It's fine," I said standing up and brushing away the sand on my stomach and face.
"Are you sure you don't want me to buy you a smoothie or something?" he asked squinting his eyes to block them from the sun, his eyes were an intense shade of golden yellow.
I bit my lip like people do in movies when they're flirting.
"Sure, that'd be nice. But not right now, I'm going somewhere with my friends. How about 5:30?" I asked smiling and flipping my hair behind my back.
"Sure, meet me a the Snack Shack?" he said.
"Sure, heres my number," I said getting a pen out of my bag and writing my name and number in loopy letters.
"I'll see you around," I said picking up my stuff and strutting away like a beach model.

"You should've seen him! I would let him kick sand in my faces any day anytime," I said telling Gabrielle what had happened.
"OMG! You have to let me spy on you!! Are you gonna put out?! 'Cause if you are, here's a condom!" she said putting a foil wrapped condom in my hand.
"No, no, no, I am not, I don't need this!" I said setting the condom on my nightstand and laughing.
"Whatever, it's better to be safe than sorry!" she said taking off her bikini top and putting on a t-shirt.

I stood outside the Snack Shack waiting for Brett to come out of nowhere for an excuse for his absense.
He finally showed, "Hey, sorry! I had to give my baby sister a bath and that took longer than usual, anyway sorry to keep you waiting."
"It's fine," I said as he opened the door for me, I turned my head and looked over at Gabrielle, who was gaping at Brett, "He is so hot!" she mouthed!
I nodded and smiled.
The whole time there we chatted and I told him things only a few people knew.
He was easy to talk to and laid back, he walked me home that night even though he had a car.
When we got the door to the beach house, he looked deep into my eyes as I put my hand on the doorknob.
He quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me close to him passionately kissing me for at least 2 minutes.
"Goodnight! I'll text you," he said walking back to the boardwalk.
