"Still a little down?", Lindsey asked. "Ugh......", I groaned. "I guess you won't want to come to the basketball game then, huh?" I looked at the ground. No I didn't really want to go, but Lindsey was the only reason I was ever a social person. I did everything with her, and I do mean EVERYTHING. She's my other half, and there's no way on Earth i could live without her. She's the biggest reason I didn't kill myself after the breakup. I couldn't go without her, so why would I leave her to go without me? "Nah, I'll come, just for you.", I said answering her question.
Hi, I'm Becky and I had been dating this boy named Kyle for about five months. We were getting pretty serious and I was in love with him. We did fight alot though, and we were both pretty stubborn so when we fought, neither of us backed down too easily. But right now things were getting really upsetting since he met my best friend Nick. Nick was this big guy, pretty dark but funny and a good listener. He was mean, but always sweet to me. He always tried to protect me and things like that. I never looked at him as anything more than a friend.
Luckily, the basketball game wasn't for another couple hours so me and Lindsey had some time to just be ourselves before we went to the game and I embarrassed her with my outgoing personality. We went out and jumped on the trampoline. We've been doing that since we were very little and the trampoline held the biggest memories for us. I swear if someone ever tried to take that trampoline from us, we'd cry a large amount. "Becky, I don't want to be an introvert." "Why not? It's good to keep to yourself and be quiet. You stay out of trouble and never get unwanted attention." "Ya, but then you're never noticed or popular, you get to be the center of attention and you're loud. I want to be like you and not quiet." "Well, ok then I'll show you." "How?" "I don't know, I mean, being outgoing is never easy, especially for someone who's trying to be outgoing. I'm just born with that kind of personality, but I'll do anything to help you if that's what you really want." "Becky, Nick's little brother Anthony told Brandon that Nick likes you." "WHAT?!" "Yeah, he said it to me yesterday when we got done playing football with them." "No...NO. This can't happen, he can't like me. I have Kyle." "I know..."
