Well I'm defiantly not skinny, at all and I'm only 5'5. I've grown up under the shadow of my skinny sister, who at one point was a size 0. I go into stores with her that literally don't have ONE thing in my size, it really does take a toll on your self esteem, especially when other girls are looking at you, like you don't belong in the store.. And when summer times rolls around, and EVERYONE and their mother are wearing shorts and tanks and bikinis and I have to sit there in my jeans and t shirt because there's NO way I'd put my big 'ol thighs in a pair of shorts. I understand where you're coming from, you aren't alone! reply

Oh my god same, I'm 5'9" and I have really broad shoulders and hips and I can't wear any nice outfits and it really takes a toll on your self esteem. D: reply

this happens a lot because people sometimes don't want their close friends to think badly of them. i am not saying what she did is right, because my friends have done it to me in the past. And also another thing to think about was that maybe she was waiting for the perfect time to tell you, not when there were other people around. I don't know exactly what she did, but maybe she wanted to tell you... just not like that. I wouldn't NOT trust her, I would if i were you let her know how it made you feel when you relized that you weren't one of the first people she told. But really I don't think it was intentional. And my friends have donethis a couple of times, and I usually hear it from someone else, but then like a few days later my friends usually end up telling (at the right time). reply
