Adult: What's wrong?
Me: I have three tests to study for and a five page report due tomorrow and I don't think I have enough time for all of it.
Adult: Oh, that's nothing. Just wait until you're an adult and you have to work two full time jobs just to make ends meet.
Adult: What's wrong?
Me: I feel like I have a really hard time talking to people.
Adult: Oh, well, you better get over that or you'll never make it as adult. What are you going to do when you have a job interview?
Adult: What's wrong?
Me: I just feel really stressed out right now.
Adult: Oh, well, wait until you get into the real world and experience adult problems and then you can talk about stress.
Me: You aren't helping.
Adult: Well, when you grow up you'll find out that the world isn't going to help you.
Me: I hope you get trampled by a mob of anxious teenagers.
