    Survival-Chapter 12
“You okay, Amy?” Andrew asked, snapping Amelia back to planet Earth.
    Amelia nodded, “Ready?”
“As I’ll ever be,” Lindsey sighed.
With that, the door flung open and the small group rushed into the pouring rain.
“Lead the way Amelia,” Andrew whispered in her ear, sending shivers up her spine.
Amelia took a steadying breath and then took off at a full on sprint across her yard.
Squinting through the rain, Amelia saw a zombie coming at her and ducked as Andrew let out a loud grunt and smashed the zombie with his baseball bat.
The zombie fell and Amelia jumped over it only to find herself face-to-face with another.
Screaming out in fear and excursion, Amelia brought her knife around and stabbed the zombie in the neck and tossed it to the right.
Blood splashed across her face, but it was washed away by the rain within seconds.
Taking off at a full sprint across her neighbor’s yard, Amelia hurtled herself over a row of bushes and landed hard on her heels.
Letting out a shriek of pain, Amelia gritted her teeth and continued to run forward, pushing herself to the white screen door that she so desperately hoped would be their salvation.
“Please! Let us in!” She screamed as she slammed into the door.
It lightly buckled under her weight and she gasped.
    Andrew ran up behind her.
“Andrew, body check the door!” Amelia yelled.
He looked at her and confusion flickered across his face, but he didn't take a second thought as he slammed himself against the door.
    "Hurry!" Rachael yelled worriedly.
Thinking quickly, Andrew grabbed Amelia and used both of their bodies to slam the door.
This time, it crumpled and they both tumbled into the warm house followed by Rachael, Lindsey and Shenandoah.
A door shrieked closed behind them and when Amelia turned, she went stiff.
She was looking directly at an arrowhead, pulled back by a crossbow.
With shaking hands, Amelia slowly rose to her feet, never letting the crossbow leave her gaze.
"Please," Amelia's voice was weak, "help."
Haha, you like, Casey?(: ♥ xx :)-Fave, comment and give me feed-back? :D xx ♥

    Survival-Chapter 11
“I want to come,” Brian said.
    “No.”
    “Why not?” He protested.
“Because I don’t want a large group to go. The less people the better… Besides, Andy, Lindsey, Rachael and I can get in and out of there real fast if there’s any trouble,” Amelia looked around then clapped her hands together, “Everyone else… Just finish packing your stuff. Casey? Would you be a doll and fix dinner?”
Casey nodded, a small smile on her face.
Everyone started going their own ways.
"Alright,” Rachael asked, “what are we going to use for weapons?”
Amelia patted the small lump in her shirt, “I’ve got my weapon, now for you, Rachael, I have this picked out…”
Amelia walked into the hallway and opened a small closet door; she pulled out a green baseball bat and handed it to Rachael.
She grinned, “Yes, this is definitely more my style than a pair of scissors.”
Amelia grinned back, “I thought you might feel that way… Andy,” Amelia leaned back in and pulled out a smaller black baseball bat, “This one’s for you.”
Andrew took it and Lindsey ran a hand through her hair, “What about me?”
“What do you want?” Amelia asked.
Lindsey shrugged, “I’d feel safest with a gun, if we had one.”
Amelia nodded and swallowed hard, “Then, you can have this.”
Slowly, Amelia pulled the gun out and Rachael gasped, “Now, where did you get that?”
Amelia shook her head, “Doesn’t matter…”
“Then, what will you use?” Lindsey said, warily taking the gun.
Amelia’s hands shook, but she slowly walked into her parent’s room and reached into her mother’s jewelry box; she pulled out a knife.
Andrew’s head was tilted to the left, “Woah, that thing looks old.”
Amelia nodded, “It was my grandfather’s, he brought it back from Korea.”
Amelia studied the knife; its hilt was light brown.
Leather was wrapped around the hilt and the sheath was completely made of it.
A red, blue, and green design swirled along both the hilt and sheath as well.
Amelia took a breath then shoved the knife in her pocket, “Let’s go.”
The group walked to the front door and Amelia turned to let out a high pitched whistle, “Kommen Shenandoah, schnell!”
Lindsey, Rachael and Andrew looked at her, confused.
“What?” Amelia looked back at them, “We taught Shenandoah her commands in German.”
    “German? Really?” Andrew asked.
“Well, she is a German Sheppard after all…” Amelia trailed off and Rachael laughed.
Amelia bit her lip and nudged her as Shenandoah sped around the corner and barked.
    “Braves Mädchen,” Amelia cooed.
Shenandoah barked and wagged her tail.
Amelia took a step forward and went to open the door, when she froze.
Rain was falling in gray sheets, and Amelia could barely see across the street.
Blood ran down the street in rivers, and Amelia shivered.
Lol, nobody reads this anymore. Oh well. ^_^ I'm finishing it. ♥ xx :)-Fave, comment and give me feed-back? :D xx ♥

    Survival-Chapter 10
“What was that all about?” Jack asked.
    Amelia shrugged, “Nothing.”
“He was in your room. Why?”
    “Um? We were just talking-”
“While you were getting dressed? Did he help you?”
“God no!” Amelia said, thoroughly appalled, “Jack, are you crazy? Just, just no!”
Jack sighed and shook his head, looking at the wall next to Amelia.
“I’m… I’m gonna go see what Rachael and Sherri have to report,” Amelia brushed past Jack and strode into the kitchen.
Rachael and Sherri were dripping water and shivering.
“How’s the weather?” Amelia asked, slightly amused.
“Th-The rain d-doesn’t look like it’s g-going to let up anytime s-soon,” Sherri stuttered out.
Rachael nodded, “Yeah, and you’re right about us needing to leave, there are zombies everywhere… Not so much on this street-only God knows why-but we need to hurry up.”
Everyone had crowded into the kitchen to listen in.
“Okay,” Amelia said, “I’m gonna take a patrol a few houses down.”
“Are you going to tell us what this grand plan of yours is?”
Everyone turned to face Tori, who had spoken for the first time since that morning.
Amelia cleared her throat, “Yes,” she paused, “A few days ago, I saw a blue Ford coming and going, and last night I saw the lights of the house on… I know that neighbor, her name’s Mary… We’ve been friends since I was in kindergarten and she was in preschool. Her brother and his wife drive a blue Ford. I think there’s a chance that they have more people over there, hiding out, just as we are.”
“Okay, so who are you going to take?” Nick asked.
Amelia looked around, “Andy, Lindsey, Rachael and Shenandoah.”
    “Your dog?” Brendan looked skeptical.
“Yes, Shenandoah’s a hunting dog. She listens to me and I don’t have to worry about leashing her up or her running off… She’ll follow me even if it means her certain death.”
“How do you know?” Tori asked.
Amelia bit her lip, “I just do. Trust me.”
    Tori snorted.
Tired. :\ Goodnight guys. ♥ xx :)-Fave, comment and give me feed-back? :D xx ♥

    Survival-Chapter 9
Amelia looked back over at Andrew and nodded slowly.
“How did you know?” He frowned, sitting down in front of her.
“I know you, Andy, and I know that you would never leave Morgan unless you knew she was okay… or that you knew she was dead,” Amelia let out a breath, “and you haven’t been yourself lately.”
Andrew rolled his brown eyes, “Did you ever think that could’ve been because the world just randomly decided to end?”
Amelia laughed gently, “Um, yeah, actually I did. I also thought it might’ve been because you’ll never get to play your Xbox again…”
    They both laughed.
    “Yeah, well…” Andrew trailed off.
Amelia's smile faded, “I’m sorry Andrew. I loved her too,” she gently laid a hand on his shoulder.
    Andrew nodded.
Amelia licked her lips and pulled her hand back, “How did you get this?”
Andrew shrugged, “Couldn’t help myself,” he took a ragged breath, “I also… found this, under your pillow.”
He pulled out a black handgun.
    Amelia’s eyes opened wide, “What?”
“The letter,” Andrew flicked the gun in the direction of the letter in Amelia’s hand, “said to look under your pillow… So I did. I found this.”
Andrew held out the gun, and Amelia took it.
“There was also this,” Andrew reached in the back pocket of his jeans and pulled out ammunition for the gun, “and this.”
Amelia looked up and almost broke down crying; it was a family photo.
Brian, Mom, Dad, Shenandoah, Buddy, December’s Keep, Rosie-Piper, and Amelia.
“Oh,” Amelia wiped a tear from the corner of her eye as she took it from Andrew.
Andrew smiled and got up, opening Amelia’s door.
She got up and hugged him, “Thank you,” she whispered in his ear.
He smiled and pulled back, “Anytime.” Amelia leaned forward and gently kissed him on the cheek.
Andrew froze, and looked at her funny when she pulled back, “Be uh, be careful with that,” Andrew pointed at her gun.
Amelia shoved the ammo in one pocket, the family photo in another, and then put the gun in the hem of her dark wash skinny jeans.
Andrew nodded and began turning around when Amelia grabbed his arm, “Hey Andy?”
    He turned around, “Yes?”
“Meet me at the front door in five. I want you to come with me on my expedition.”
Andrew raised his eyebrows, “Where will I be headed?”
    “Just a few houses over… I have a hunch-”
Andrew nodded, “Say no more, I’ll be there,” then he turned on his heel and in the blink of an eye he was out of Amelia’s sight.
Replacing him was Jack’s disapproving stare.
Long chapter for you. ♥ xx :)-Fave, comment and give me feed-back? :D xx ♥

    Survival-Chapter 8
“Who?” Jack asked, “The dog, or your brother?”
    “My brother of course-”
“Amelia,” Jack interrupted, “your brother has been remarkably good at holding his own so far, and I don’t think you need to worry about him.”
“Of course I need to worry about him!” Amelia yelled, “He’s my baby brother! I’ll protect him with my life.”
“I know that,” Jack said, his voice hushed, “and there’s nobody here that would doubt that, I just think he-”
“Jack,” Amelia’s voice held warning, “please just do as I say and leash Buddy up.”
Jack let out a breath, not willing to fight Amelia, and turned on his heel to find Buddy.
Amelia turned and opened the door to her room, when suddenly she remembered something very important.
    She wanted to scream.
She couldn’t find it, she couldn’t find it anywhere.
She sat down in the center of her messy room and closed her eyes tightly.
    “Think,” she willed herself, “remember.”
On the first day of this whole ordeal, she had come home to an all but empty house; the only explanation had been a letter, written in her mother’s cursive.
“Where is it?” She wondered aloud.
    “Are you looking for this?”
Amelia spun around to find Andrew standing in her doorway; he was holding a slightly crumpled letter.
Stepping forward and closing her door behind him, Andrew held out the letter.
Amelia grabbed and read it; it was her mother’s, the one she had been looking for.
She bit her lip and tried not to cry as she gently traced her mother’s signature at the bottom; Amelia had contemplated her parents’ motives since day one.
Why would they leave without her or her brother?
Why would they leave the pets?
Amelia didn’t have an answer, she couldn’t bring herself to believe her parents had just left them there with no plans of ever coming back to see if they had made it out alive, but that’s sure what it looked like.
Why would they come back, if they left one of their cars in the driveway, fully gassed?
Surely they knew if she or her brother came home to find that, they’d leave, right?
Thunder rumbled overhead and Amelia whipped around to look out her window; it was pouring, washing and melting away a good portion of the standing snow.
    “MoMo’s dead.”
Posting another chapter... I feel like a bum for not posting for two months. :L Hopefully I can gain some readers back. xx :)-Fave, comment and give me feed-back? :D xx ♥

    Survival-Chapter 7
Looking down at herself, Amelia saw all the cuts and scratches along her hands, arms, legs, and on her neck; she shivered.
    “I look terrible,” Amelia breathed.
    “You look beautiful,” Jack responded.
Amelia rolled her eyes, “You have a twisted sense of beauty.”
Jack chuckled lightly, and watched as Amelia washed her face, arms, and legs.
Amelia ran a brush through her bloody hair, but it caught in every tangle.
“I’m gonna take a shower before we get going in the morning,” Amelia sighed.
“Why not take one now?” Amelia looked at him like he was insane, “Um, I know you haven’t been here long, but really? Going outside with wet hair is a death sentence, especially since the furnace is barely working.”
“I’m actually surprised its lasted this long.”
Amelia nodded, she could still turn on the TV, but all she could see was static, and all the analog clocks in the house worked-most of the time-but they often flickered on and off.
Cell phone reception was sketchy if there was any at all.
Soon, there would be nothing left.
“I’m gonna go get changed,” Amelia said, stepping out of the white tiled bathroom and taking and right.
    “I’ll come with you.”
Amelia looked at him, “No! I think I can put my pants on without your assistance.”
“You sure about that love?” Jack winked and leaned in.
Amelia rolled her eyes and shoved him away, “Positive, besides I’ve got big bad Rosie-Piper to protect me! Don’t I baby?”
After a sharp mew, a black and white cat jumped into Amelia arms.
“Awh! Who’s a good girl? Who’s a good girl?” Amelia cooed, scratching her cat’s head.
    Jack rolled his eyes.
Amelia set Rosie-Piper down then turned back to Jack, “Go put Buddy on his leash and give him to Brian… I want him to be protected.”

    Survival-Chapter 6
“So it’s settled then?” Amelia asked, turning to the group, “We get a bigger group and then head for the UP?”
Almost everyone was nodding. “Okay everyone!” Amelia said, clapping her hands together, “Start gathering your things, I say we leave in the morning.”
“The morning?” Andrew said, “Will that be enough time to get a larger group?”
Amelia nodded, “I have a plan. Give me a moment to, er, clean up, and then I’ll put my plan into motion.”
Andrew nodded and walked off, but Jack pulled Amelia into a hug, then gently kissed her.
Amelia smiled when the both pulled back.
“I’m going to the bathroom, and I’ll be right back,” Amelia tried to gently pull away but Jack’s grip on her arm just tightened.
    Amelia looked at him, confused.
Jack pulled her close and whispered in her ear, “I don’t want to let you out of my sight.”
Amelia shivered as she heard the worry and sincerity in his voice, “I’ll be fine,” she tried to say, but her voice came out hoarse.
Jack pulled her into a tight hug, and she let out a breath; it was like Jack made everything better, like he had a calming effect upon her.
Suddenly, Amelia felt like she was being watched, and shifted ever so slightly until she caught Tori’s glare.
Wincing, Amelia pulled out of the hug and dragged Jack to the bathroom.
Amelia looked in the mirror and winced again.
Her hair was knotted, damp from the snow and caked with dried blood, there was a cut on her bottom lip and this caused her lip to puff up a bit, her was also a gash just on her hairline that had just stopped bleeding.
Just a short little chapter dedicated to my brother, bwk800. Happy birthday Brian. xx :)-Fave, comment and give me feed-back? :D xx ♥

    Survival-Chapter 4
“Shh, love, shh,” somebody whispered, but Amelia didn’t understand why.
Then Amelia felt hot tears running down her face and she realized she had started sobbing.
“Oh, what have you done my love? What have you done?”
Amelia looked up and realized she was staring into the pained eyes of Jack.
“What?” She tried to say, but nothing came out.
Shifting a bit in Jack’s arms, Amelia turned and saw a bloody and bruised Tori just barely sitting up in a pool of water stained with blood.
Tori made eye contact with Amelia and the look of pure contempt in her gaze made Amelia shiver, but she didn’t look away; she wouldn’t bow down to Tori after all that.
Tori sensing this, took what was left of her ego and broke the trance first, looking up at Andrew, who was looking down at her uncomfortably.
Tori smiled and reached her hand up for help, but Andrew turned away from her coldly and threw an arm around Amelia.
“Good job Amy,” he whispered into her ear as he and Jack helped her walk through the snow and to the group of stunned people standing in front of her house.
Amelia coughed, “Well, I’ve been taught by the best.”
Andrew grinned and continued helping Amelia forward.
When the three reached the group, everyone was stunned to silence.
Casey, Sherri, and Rachael simply brushed past Andrew on their way to check on Tori.
Brendan moved forward and hugged Amelia, “Dang Ames,” he smiled, “remind me to never get on your bad side.”
    Amelia smiled with triumph.

    Survival-Chapter 3
Amelia pushed Tori over into the snow and jumped on her, “Take this you c/cky s/ut!”
Amelia slapped Tori full on across the face, and then brought her hand back for a pimp slap.
Tori’s cheeks were red, but she still hand some fight left in her.
Everyone else had gathered in Amelia and Brian’s backyard to watch, some, like Casey and Lindsey screaming for the girls to stop, while Nick and Brendan shouted encouragement.
Tori flipped Amelia over and started scratching her, and Amelia shrieked with pain.
“Yah! How does that feel?” Tori cackled, letting her guard up.
This is what Amelia had been planning; she quickly kicked Tori off her and straddled her in the snow once again.
Amelia starting dishing out scratches, slaps, and punches; Tori’s comebacks were becoming more and more feeble.
She did, however, manage to pull out chunks of Amelia’s hair, but Amelia had returned the favor.
“How do you like this?” Amelia screeched and then spit on Tori’s face.
Now the girls were both shivering, but it wasn’t from the cold, it was from pure anger.
Suddenly though, yelling broke through Amelia’s hazy thoughts.
    It was Jack.
Sitting up and turning to look for him, Tori got her chance and tossed Amelia to the side.
Instead of fighting though, she ran.
“Oh no you don’t!” Amelia cried and ran after her.
Tori didn’t go towards the group of people standing outside of the house watching, instead she ran in a large semi-circle towards the back of the yard, arching around the large pool in the center of the yard.
Amelia was a faster runner than Tori, and she caught up with her in the very back of the yard, full on football tackling her into a pool of water that had collected near the back fence.
Tori was underwater, and Amelia had her hands around her neck, brutally choking her.
A red haze filled Amelia’s gaze as she dug her long fingers into Tori’s neck.
Suddenly though, Amelia felt strong hands picking her up.
Amelia’s grip faltered and she was forced to let Tori come up for air as somebody engulfed her in a warm hug.
Had a busy day already and it's only 4 o'clock! :O Well anyway, here it is(: I'm about to go to the mall, but... ENJOY :3 -Fave, comment and give me feed-back? :D xx ♥

    Survival-Chapter 2
“Calling me those things won’t make you better,” Amelia said, trying to not only keep her voice level, but also to stop herself from ripping Tori’s throat out.
Tori smiled and turned around, looking at everyone in the room, “Aw isn’t that cute? She’s trying to take the moral high ground!”
Tori turned and bore into Amelia with her deep brown marbles, “Well it’s too late for that, sweetheart.”
Amelia’s hands were shaking now, “Tori, I’m warning you, I’m stronger than you. This won’t end well for anybody.”
Tori rolled her eyes, “Oh please! Amy, you’re dreaming, I could overpower you easily.”
Licking her lips, Tori added, “And that boy of yours? Jack? He’ll be mine in no time. You never were the prettiest Amy… Never could get a boy. And even though the world’s ended, nothing’s changed. Jack will be mine… and technically, he already is.”
Tori turned around and faced the group, “I always was a sucker for British accents.”
What Tori didn’t know is that she had just shoved Amelia past her breaking point; she had poured gasoline over Amelia’s already smoldering nerves.
“Tori,” Amelia’s voice was low and threatening, “Shut. Up.”
“Oh yeah! And that last boy you liked? What was his name? Chase?” Tori obviously hadn’t heard Amelia as she continued, “He deserved to die,” Tori rolled her eyes, “the son of a b/tch rejected me,” Tori laughed, “me. And then the best he could do was try and be with some lady of the night like you who’s so desperate she’d take anyone.”
    “You b/tch!” Amelia screamed.
That was it; Tori had done it now.
Tori turned around in time to get slammed back into the couch by Amelia.
“Bring it on, wh/re!” Tori spit back, grabbing a chunk of Amelia’s hair.
“Oh,” Amelia said, practically picking Tori up and slamming her against a wall, “It’s on. You mess with the ram and you get the horns.”
Tori spit in Amelia’s face, and there were a few gasps from around the room.
Amelia took a moment and slowly wiped Tori’s spit off her face.
    Tori was smirking.
Amelia smiled, and then slammed Tori in the face with a hard right hook.
Tori’s head smacked into the wall with a thud.
    “Amelia!” Sherri cried, “Stop it!”
Amelia didn’t hear Sherri though, all she heard were Tori’s words ringing through her head, “Jack will be mine… and technically, he already is. And that last boy you liked? What was his name? Chase? He deserved to die.”
Amelia grabbed Tori and dragged her through the house and outside by her hair while she screamed.
Yes.... I was obviously very angry when I wrote this, and it just gets worse from here. O.o Anyways, I'm tired as FLUCK. GTG, about to go pass out on my bed. Goodnight little chickadees. :3 -Fave, comment and give me feed-back? :D xx ♥

    Survival-Chapter 1
It had been six days since the attack on the small group that left five dead, but the pain wasn’t going away.
Now, everyone but Jack, Andrew and Haley were gathered in Amelia’s living room.
“Now,” Tori said, standing proudly at the head of the group, “I think we need to decide who our leader is.”
Amelia stepped in, “No, Tori. We already had an agreement that-“
“Oh hush you ginger,” Tori rolled her eyes and silenced Amelia.
A deep, furious anger burned in Amelia.
After Jeff, Amber, and Morgan’s deaths, Tori had become more and more unbearable.
“She’s always been like this,” she heard herself hissing into Brendan’s ear, “the pretend leader, a liar, and a just plain b/tch.”
The two had discussed Tori merely the day before.
“I know,” he shook his head, “but what are we supposed to do?”
”As I was saying,” Tori continued, “we need a set leader before we move on.
Now, raise of hands, who thinks it should be me?”
Nobody raised their hands at first, and Tori became impatient.
“What? I don’t see anyone else volunteering! I’m the best and only option,” Tori sneered.
Everyone looked around, and slowly, Brendan raised his hand.
Amelia made eye contact with him, and her eyes must’ve displayed her raw anger, because Brendan quickly looked away.
Rachael and Sherri also raised their hands.
Amelia stepped forward, “Tori,” she growled, “no.”
“What did you say to me?” Tori hissed, turning and pressing Amelia against the door.
“I said, no,” Amelia straightened her spine and shoulders and leaned in, “Victoria.”
“Don’t call me that!” Tori screamed, pressing up against Amelia.
Amelia, getting defensive, pushed her away and into the back of the couch; the people sitting on the couch jumped and winced.
    “Guys!” Brendan shouted, “Calm down!”
“Oh shut up, Brendan,” Tori snapped, “I think Amelia and I have some… unfinished business.”
Amelia clenched her jaw, and balled her hands into fists at her sides; she was desperately trying to control her temper, because when she lost it, she lost it.
“What?” Tori taunted, “Afraid? Worried that everyone likes me more than you? Because they do, you know. You’re a conceited ginger wh/re, and you’re worthless.”
Yeah so... this book is probably going to be more bloody than the first... -Fave, comment and give me feed-back? :D xx ♥

    Sunsets - Epilogue
A cool breeze blew Rosie's long hair back as she sat, furiously typing away on her laptop.
Classes may have already started here at the University of Maine, but she already had a biology paper to write.
She had graduated high school a year ahead of her class, and she was now a sophomore in college, studying to be a doctor.
A shadow fell across her, and she looked up.
There was someone standing in front of her, but the sun was glaring in their face, Rosie couldn't see who it was.
"Hey there." The person said, leaning forward and out of the sun.
    It was a boy.
He had light blue eyes and blonde hair the same color as white sand; he looked familiar, but Rosie couldn't place him.
    "Uh.... Hi." Rosie said awkwardly.
"Do you know who I am?" The boy asked.
Rosie smiled faintly, "No, should I?"
He looked down, bit his lip, and then pushed Rosie's legs over so he could sit down on the bench.
They were sitting in the middle of campus, red and orange leaves fell to the ground around them.
    Autumn was in the air.
    Rosie scratched her head.
"Um, you probably don't remember me, I mean, we uh, met like, five years ago..."
Rosie smiled faintly and tilted her head.
    Five years ago?
What is this boy talking about?
"My name is... Anthony. Anthony Robinet. You uh, you liked to call me Tony."
    That's when it hit her.
Rosie's jaw dropped, and every memory came rushing back to her.
She jumped up, her heart fluttering like a bird's wings.
    "No," she shook her head.
Anthony got up, "I knew this was a bad idea, I'm so sorry-"
"No!" Rosie pulled him into a tight hug, her breath coming in short gasps.
He still smelled the same, like lilacs and the beach.
    "What are you doing here?"
Anthony shrugged, a broad smile on his face, "I turned my grades around, did well on all those big tests and got accepted here... It was fate really."
Rosie bit her lip, "That's fantastic! Did you stay friends with Timothy?"
Anthony's smile seemed to falter a bit, but he recovered, "Uhm, no. Why?"
"Oh, it's just... we're dating now and everything. He goes here too, so, yeah," Rosie stuttered, blushing and looking away awkwardly.
"Oh, well," Anthony lightly smacked Rosie's arm, "I'm excited to connect with him again."
Rosie looked up at Anthony, eyes shining.
    Then, Timothy ran over.
"Hey! Rose," Timothy frowned, "oh my God, is that Anthony Robinet? Come here man!"
Timothy pulled Anthony into a bro-hug.
    "What's up?" Anthony asked.
"Well Rosie and I were just going to the beach to watch the sunset, wanna come?"
Anthony looked from Timothy to Rosie and a small smile spread across his face, "Sure. Why not?"
The three then took the short car ride to the beach, and sat in the sand.
A chilly breeze blew leaves everywhere, and because of the cold they were the only one's out there.
"It's so beautiful," Rosie whispered as she watched the pink and orange sun slide below the dark purple waves.
"Just like you," Timothy whispered back, kissing the top of Rosie's head.
Rosie smiled at him, but she heard Anthony make a noise.
She turned to look at him, but he just looked away.
When the sun was finally gone, Anthony pulled Rosie away from Timothy.
"What is it?" Rosie asked, slightly annoyed.
"Why are you with him? You could do so much better!" Anthony sighed.
"You have no idea how stupid you sound," Rosie hissed, "and I love Timothy."
Anthony tilted his head a bit, "And I love you."
They both paused and looked at each other.
"What I said, in Florida..." Rosie started.
"No," Anthony breathed, "it's okay," his voice was soft, like velvet.
The leaned in, but Rosie put a hand on Anthony's chest, "No, I can't do this. I love Timothy."
Anthony straightened a bit, and looked Rosie straight in the eye, "I love you Rosie, and I guess that means I'll just have to fight for you."
    THE END.
    THE END!!! Oh my gosh!!! D: I REALLY hope you guys liked it... It took me FOREVER to write because I was busy watching Missy Franklin win gold and beat the WORLD RECORD! Team USA :D Anyways, This is for you Casey. And I hope you're all happy. -.- I wanted Rosie to end up with Anthony but NO, everyone wants Timothy... So I just gave it an open ending, and that way I can leave it or go and do a sequel. :P Keep checking my profile for another story... I'm hoping to get an introduction up tomorrow. ♥ Give me feed-back! -Becca(;

    Sunsets - Chapter 25
Rosie's hands were sweating as she sat waiting for her flight.
Her parents sat next to her, humming and doing something on their iPads.
Frowning, Rosie went back to putting the finishing touches on her essay.
As soon as she finished it, a woman came over the loud speaker, "Flight 360 from Fort Meyers to Cincinnati is now boarding."
A line began forming, and Rosie's parents put away their iPads.
Saving her now finished essay and stuffing it in her carry-on, Rosie waited in line for a moment before it was her turn to walk to the gate.
She handed the woman her ticket, then found her seat.
She was sitting in the window seat and she could see grass and marshland just beyond the airport's grounds.
    Her heart clenched.
Would she ever see Anthony again?
Would she keep in touch with Timothy as she'd promised she would?
Her thoughts were swirling around and she suddenly felt claustrophobic.
Meanwhile, Anthony ran through the airport.
Would he make it in time?
He needed to see her, needed to tell her how he felt.
Anthony was heartbroken, Rosie was the girl of his dreams, and here she was, getting ready to fly off.
Would he ever see her again?
"Flight 360 from Fort Meyers to Cincinnati, last call."
Anthony picked up the pace, but he knew there was no way he could make it.
He reached the gate and pressed his face up against the glass.
A tear slipped down his cheek as he watched the plane take off, taking his heart with it.
Tears formed in Rosie's eyes as the plane rose into the air and she could see the surrounding landscape even better.
Florida was the place she had come to love so much, and she wasn't ready to return to her normal life in Ohio.
What broke Rosie's heart more, was that she knew this was the last time her family would be taking a vacation here.
It was their annual thing, but they had decided it was way too costly.
If Rosie ever wanted to come back here, she would have to pay for it herself.
So, as she flew high above the clouds and away from the sand, waves, palm trees, something broke inside of her.
"I don't want go," Rosie whispered aloud, her voice cracking as she pushed her hand against the window.
Although she knew her tan and the footprints they'd all left in the sand would fade, Rosie knew that she would always keep the memories locked inside her heart; all the parties, all the smiles, all the laughs, all the kisses, and all the sunsets.
    Forever.
    Awhhh! I'm legit about to cry. :( So sad... And I know it took me forever to post this, but I was having major writer's block and I wanted this to be good. This isn't the end, of course, as there's going to be an epigloge, but.... I have dragged this story out longer than I ever expected, and it's time to wrap it up. I hope you enjoyed it. ♥ Give me feed-back! -Becca(;

    Sunsets - Chapter 24
Anthony was with Gina, no surprise there.
Rosie made a face and grabbed Timothy's arm.
"Dance with me," she whispered in his ear.
He nodded and turned towards her as he danced.
    Rosie just focused on Timothy.
    Anthony was seething.
Here he was, sitting with the most popular girl in school, feeling jealous because his best friend was currently grinding on the girl he loved.
"You don't love her," he told himself, "she practically ripped out your still beating heart, because she doesn't want to be with a boy like you," he heard his own words tumble around in his head and winced.
Still, he couldn't help but wonder; what does Timothy have that he doesn't?
Why does Rosie like him so much?
The answer came to him as the music changed from Starships by Nicki Minaj into some random techno song.
"You're a player," he thought to himself.
"But she's my coach," Anthony whimpered aloud.
"What's that babe?" Gina asked, leaning into him.
    "Nothing," he shook his head.
Gina frowned, "Are you sure? Do you wanna go dance?"
Anthony couldn't take his eyes off Rosie, and he went to say 'no', but he stopped himself.
"Sure," he felt his lips curve into a small smile.
Gina jumped up and grabbed Anthony's hand, leading him into the drunk crowd.
"Let's show Rosie what she's missing," he mused silently.
It was around two in the morning when Rosie pulled Timothy from the crowd and gently kissed his cheek, "I have to go."
Timothy sighed and held her hand tightly, "I'll miss you... Do you want me to walk you back?"
"No," Rosie shook her head, "and I'm going to miss you too... Remember to add me on Skype, and I'll text you when my flight lands in Cincinnati."
Timothy nods and gently caresses her face, he leans down and kisses her for a moment, but she quickly pulls away and starts kicking up sand as she runs back to The Outrigger.
The tears she's been holding back all night begin to flow freely.
Anthony watches the quick exchange between the two scornfully, and part of him wants to push Gina out of the way and chase after Rosie, but another part of him-the sane part of him-knows she wouldn't stop.
Anthony grabs a drink and drowns his sorrows in alcohol; he passes out drunk an hour later.
At six in the morning, he wakes up in a comfortable bed, but it isn't his.
Anthony looks and sees that although his boxers are still on, his pants and shirt are thrown halfway across the room.
Lying next to him are Gina and Tara.
Anthony makes a face, and as he gets out of bed he stumbles and has to use the bed-side table to steady himself.
Glancing back at Gina and Tara-barely dressed-on the bed, Anthony curls over, runs to the bathroom, and makes it to the toilet just in time.
Wiping his mouth, Anthony pulls his pants on, slings his shirt over his shoulder, and washes his mouth out.
Groaning and slumping over in the sink, Anthony realizes it's morning.
    Morning.
    Rosie.
"No," he whispers, "don't think about her."
Anthony swallows and walks back out into the bedroom, but when he sees Gina and Tara again, his feelings get the better of him.
"Lord help me, because I think I've gone insane!"
With that, Anthony turned on his heel and ran out of the hotel.
He made it to his house, pulled on a different t-shirt, then jumped in his car and tore out of his driveway on his way to the airport.
    There is one. more. chapter. left!!! Plus an epiloge(: Caseyy, I hope you liked it. ;D ♥ Give me feed-back! -Becca(;

    Sunsets - Chapter 23
It was her last day in Florida, the place she had come to love and adore, the place that had bore witness to her first kiss, and the place where she came to count time by sunsets.
Rosie decided to go all out when it came to getting dressed this time, so she threw on her pink sequin strapless party dress, her pink pearl necklace, her silver heart earrings, and for good measure she painted her nails pink.
    http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=52876639
Shrugging, she also decided not to wear shoes; this was on the beach after all.
The sun started hanging low in the sky, and Rosie got nervous.
Suddenly, Timothy was standing in front of her.
"Wow," he breathed, "you look amazing."
Rosie blushed, "What are you doing here?"
Timothy rolled his eyes, "I know the party doesn't start until later... but I want to spend as much time with you as possible."
Rosie smiled faintly, "Alright. Let's go."
Rosie practically jumped out the door, and Timothy ran after her, "Wait, where are we going?"
Laughing, Rosie started sprinting down the beach towards the water, "I don't know!"
Timothy chuckled and chased after her; he caught her a few feet from the water.
Rosie squealed as Timothy picked her up and threw her over his shoulder.
"Hey!" She yelled, "Put me down!"
"Nope," Timothy popped the 'p' as he started walking along the water's edge.
"Where are you going?" Rosie asked.
Timothy pulled her down so that he was holding her bridal style and smiled, "I don't know."
    Rosie grinned.
Timothy slung her back over his shoulder and ran a little more, before gently tossing her into the sand.
Rosie got up and started running away from him, but he caught up with her and grabbed her.
Timothy held her and looked into her eyes, brown on brown.
"I'm gonna miss you so much," Timothy whispered, suddenly very serious.
Rosie shuddered at the sincerity in his voice, "I'm going to miss you too," she whispered back.
Then, as the sun dipped below the lapping waves, Timothy pulled Rosie in for one last kiss.
It was passionate, and Rosie didn't want to stop, but she couldn't breathe.
    She pulled away gasping.
Timothy's hair was messy and his face was flushed, he smiled at her as he caught his breath, "We-We should p-probably go now."
Rosie nodded and the two headed for the hotel where the party was at.
It was dark now, and even though the party didn't technically start until ten, music was playing a a small crowd of people were already drinking and grinding on each other.
Rosie took Timothy's hand and pulled him into the center of the crowd.
More people were starting to show up, and Rosie grabbed a cup from one of the people walking around.
As she went to drink it, Timothy stopped her, "What are you doing?"
Rosie shrugged, "I'm getting a taste of the Florida party life," then took a big gulp.
It was alcohol of some sort, and it tasted good at first but if burned going down her throat.
Timothy smiled and grabbed his own cup.
Soon, the crowd was huge and mostly drunk.
Crazy lights started flashing everywhere when the music changed from something by Rihanna to Promises by Skrillex.
Rosie started getting into it, and she felt like she was on Cloud Nine.
Everything was perfect at this exact moment, but Rosie knew it couldn't stay that way.
She turned her head and saw Anthony.
    Ugh, I wish I lived on the beach and got to go to crazy parties like this every night... I usually only stay up because of homework or I'm talking to someone on Facebook or something. -.- Oh well, whatever. This story is ending so savor it!!! What do you think, should I leave it open for a sequel or just finish it? Comment! ;D ♥ Give me feed-back! -Becca(;

    Sunsets - Chapter 21
After an amazing dinner of salads and some French dish Rosie couldn't pronounce, Anthony and Rosie stood-hand in hand-to watch the sunset.
The conch shell blared and as she watched a bunch of tourists walk along the beach, and suddenly Rosie remembered she hadn't informed her parents, or anybody, as to where she was going!
Rosie mentally slapped herself, but she realized she could probably just blame it on her memory loss and get away with it... if her parents were even sober enough to care; they had this tradition of getting drunk the day before they left whatever vacation spot they were at.
    The day before they left.
Rosie's heart started aching again as she realized that those two days spent in the hospital meant she had three sunsets left.
"No, two," she thought heart-brokenly as she watched the pink and orange sun dip below the lapping waves.
Anthony whispered in her ear, suddenly, giving her chills, "Isn't it beautiful?"
Rosie looked up at him and threw on her best puppy-dog eyes and baby voice, "B-But Twony. I thwought I was the pwettiest thing woo ever sween!"
Anthony smiled and kissed Rosie, "You are."
Blushing, Rosie kept one hand around his neck and one hand playing with his blonde hair.
"Anthony," Rosie whispered, suddenly very serious, "I'm leaving in two days."
Anthony closed his eyes and pulled Rosie close so he could lean the side of his head on the top of hers, "Oh please, please don't remind me."
"I have to," Rosie said, pulling away so she could look up at him, her voice laced with hysteria, "I love you Anthony Robinet! My stupid idiot, my prince. You saved my life... and I love you. I love you!"
Rosie started weeping and Anthony pulled her close again, his body shaking with silent sobs.
"I didn't want to get attached to you, Rosie, when I first met you, but now I've realized that it's too late for that. I love you too."
Rosie shook her head into his chest, "We could never have a long-distanced relationship... I barely have time for a normal one, what with school... especially the high school I go to... I need to get into a good college. I don't have time for boys."
Rosie felt Anthony stiffen at her words, he didn't want to believe her.
    "We could try-"
"No, Anthony. No," Rosie continued crying, "I'm going to finish high school and go to the University of Maine and be a doctor and-"
"I understand," Anthony cut her off, and he pulled away from Rosie, "you don't have time for a boy. Especially a boy like me."
"No that's not what I meant-"
"I think it is, Rosie. That's exactly what you meant," Anthony turned away from her, trying to hide the tears shining in his eyes.
    "Oh Anthony..."
"No," Anthony shook his head, "the door's down the stairs to the left a-ways. Ask one of the maids if you get lost," his voice was cold, hard.
Rosie hung her head and walked out.
As she walked out of Anthony's door, she felt as if a part of her had just died; it was as if Anthony had somehow tattooed his name across her heart and she had just forced him into ripping it off.
Rosie tried collecting what was left of her ego so she could walk down the beach with dignity, but she couldn't do it.
She ran down the beach tripping and crying.
    Awh! Just when you thought she was gonna end up with Anthony... Well, let me just tell you that although there are only five chapters (maximum) and an epiloge left, there are still a few twists and turns left. Muahahhaha! XD ♥ Give me feed-back! -Becca(;

    Sunsets - Chapter 20
"Mom!" Anthony screamed back, "Why are you home?"
"Well," the woman-Anthony's mom-stated, "Eve and her husband Matthew had to cancel, Allyson's son, Max, broke his leg, so she had to go, and that left me with Loraine Rowlette! Can you believe it, I just cannot stand that woman-"
    "MOM," Anthony groaned.
She rolled her eyes, "So anyway, I came home early because I was stuck with that woman, and you know how much I hate her," she paused, "I had assumed you'd be much happier to see me, and when I got home and saw the dining room all done up I had-"
Anthony made a face and she cut off short.
"No matter, I can see I was wrong," Anthony's mother turned to Rosie and smiled broadly, "it must be for you. What's your name, sweetheart?"
Rosie smiled up at Anthony's mom.
She really did look like him, with stunning features, light blonde hair and a smile that could kill, but her eyes were hazel, flecked gently with black and brown.
"I'm Rosie Davis, Mrs. Robinet, it's a pleasure to meet you."
"Ohh," Anthony's mother cooed, "aren't you just brilliant? And please, call me Lucy."
"Lucy," Rosie smiled and shook her hand.
"Well, now I suppose I'll leave you two alone," Mrs. Robinet winked, grabbed her fancy blue purse and walked out the front doors, her heels clicking as she went.
Anthony cleared his throat after his mother could be heard driving off, "Well, um, let me just show you what she was talking about."
"That'd be nice," Rosie said, blushing a bit.
Anthony lead Rosie through a maze of halls and up a flight of stairs until he finally stopped in front of a white oak door.
"Now, like I said... I set it up myself, so... I don't know what its like in Ohio, but don't expect anything too-"
Rosie leaned in and kissed Anthony gently, quieting him.
"I'm sure it'll be lovely," Rosie assured him.
"Right," Anthony smiled and opened the door, "ladies first."
    Rosie walked in and gasped.
The room had a gorgeous glass chandelier hanging over a cream colored table with marble and glass accents.
There were four chairs sitting around the table, and the silverware was already laid out.
The walls were covered with paintings that appeared to be a mixture of Monet and Van Gogh.
"Are they real?" Rosie asked, walking over to a painting of a forest.
Anthony slowly walked up behind her, his shoes clicking on the hardwood floor, "Some are, but most are re-makes."
Rosie nodded then turned back to Anthony, "It's beautiful, I like it."
Anthony smiled, "Well, then you're going to love this."
Anthony walked over to the back of the room and pulled back some white curtains that had been flowing in the wind, then he motioned for Rosie to walk over.
Rosie was confused, because she had been thinking it was a window, but when she looked she realized it was a balcony.
Smiling, Rosie walked onto it and her jaw dropped.
There was a table and two chairs were set facing it, the silverware was already set up, just like in the main dining room.
"Oh Anthony," Rosie turned and smiled, "I do love it."
    He blushed faintly.
Turning back around, Rosie realized the entire balcony was dusted with red and white rose petals.
Rosie felt tears forming in her eyes as she remembered that white roses were her favorite flower.
"Is something wrong?" Anthony said, seeing the tears in her eyes.
"No," Rosie laughed as a tear slid down her face; she turned and tightly hugged Anthony, "I'm just so happy."
    Awh, cute, but another boring chapter. ;\ AH, I need to get this story moving along! I need to finish it up. Hmm, let's say three faves and at least one comment and I'll post another chapter today?? Just motivation... Thanks guys. ♥ Give me feed-back! -Becca(;
