I think, it's because it's the closest thing we have to Magic.

Friendship,
It's not about how many people were there, or how many inside jokes, or how many times you hang out.
It matters who those people are, remembering the good times and just being there when your needed most, in sadness or happiness.
You're true friends will always be there no matter what happens, even at 2 am.
