    Until I Met You
    A Cody Simpson Fan Fic
    Chapter 3
I lay on my bed and moved the piece of paper in between my fingers. Should I text him? Would it be too soon? I sighed and opened the piece of paper. I entered the number in my phone and typed in Cody? My thumb circled around the send button. I sighed and pressed the back button. I guess I’ll just text him tomorrow. I don’t want to look too desperate. Desperate? Hold on Clara, you have a boyfriend.
I collapsed backwards onto my bed and grabbed my iPod off of my nightstand. I logged into my Twitter and slowly typed in Cody Simpson. I looked at his profile and checked his most recent tweet.
Hey Clara, it’s not too soon haha :P #textme
I smiled at the tweet and picked my phone back up. I typed the number in again, wrote a greeting, and hit send. I went back to my home page and clicked new tweet. I sighed as my fingers swirled in circles, trying to figure out what to write.
    Taylor…why? #R.I.P. <3 I love you
I exhaled and held back a tear. My phone vibrated and I picked it up. I hit open and looked at the message. “I thought you’d never text meJ”. I smiled and hit reply. “Sorry, I didn’t want to text you too soon”.
I tossed my phone onto my bed and stood up. I started walking towards the bathroom, but I stopped at Taylor’s picture. I stared at her gorgeous face. Memories flashed into my mind. Her laugh played over and over again like a song. The memories moved through my mind like a slideshow. I thought of all the nights we spent at each other’s houses. I thought of all of the summers we spent together. The crazy things we did together. Everything we did together. We were inseparable. But now…we’re separated forever.
My vision became blurry with tears. I bit my lip as an attempt to stop it from quivering. I exhaled all of the air I was holding it, but it came out more as a whimper. I leaned against the wall and slowly slid down. I hugged my knees to my chest and soaked my jeans with my tears. I let out loud sobs and Jamison must have heard me because he came rushing in. “Clara!” he exclaimed. He kneeled down and wrapped his arms around me. “I need her Jamison!” I sobbed. “I need her!” Jamison just rubbed my back and held me tight. He wasn’t very good with words, he never has been.
Jamison rocked me back and forth. “Shhhh” he whispered. I slowly started to sniffle back my tears. My eyes became heavy and I felt myself starting to dose off. I felt myself being lifted off the ground and then carefully put on my bed. My blankets wrapped around me and I quickly drifted away.
I woke up to the light shining through my curtains. I could see a clear blue sky and birds flying everywhere. That’s definitely Taylor shining through. I looked to my right and my phone was still on my bed. I picked it up and saw four new text messages.
Cody: No, no, it wasn’t too soon
    Cody: …You still there?
Cody: What are you doing today?
    Josh: Hey
Does he want to hang out with me? I was supposed to hang out with Josh, but who knows how long Cody Simpson will be around?
Me: Sorry about last night. I fell asleep. And I don’t think I’m doing anything today J
I rubbed my eyes and stood up. I raised my hands over my head and stretched. I started walking towards the bathroom, but I backed up when I heard my phone vibrate.
    Cody: Beach??
I laughed to myself and shook my head. He does realize that there’s snow on the ground, right?
Me: Lol the beach?? We’re in Massachusetts. It’s winter. And there’s snow on the ground haha
I laughed again and tossed my phone back on my bed. I quickly walked towards the bathroom before another text could distract me. I shut the door and turned the lock. I looked up at the mirror and taped to the corner of it was a picture of me and Taylor trying to wash my dog in the bathtub. I smiled at the picture and placed my hand on it. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath. I still can’t believe she’s gone.
Cody: Doesn’t mean that the beach is off limits Jhaha
Me: Haha okay, sure. Beach it is. Um, do you just want me to meet you at the beach? I’m like 10 feet away from it haha
Cody: Nice! And okay sounds good. Meet me in an hour?
    Me: Okay J

    Chapter 2
This time I woke up in my own bed. I was carefully tucked under the pure white comforter. My face was buried into my zebra pillow pet. Tears stained my face and my nose was completely stuffed. I cleared my chocolate brown hair out of my face. I looked at the black and white picture of Taylor and me on my white wall. I felt like I was going to cry, but there were no tears left in me. I slowly lifted the comforter off of me and walked over to the picture. I stared at Taylor’s beautiful face. Her blonde hair cascaded down her back and her blue eyes shined like the ocean. Her smile lit up the picture. I traced the outline of her face carefully. I bit my lip and slid my hand off of the picture frame.
I sat back down on my bed and hugged my pillow pet to my chest. I heard a knock at my door. “Clar?” a voice said. The door opened an inch and Jamison’s eyes poked around the corner. Once he saw me, he opened the door all the way. He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me. I buried my face into his chest and whispered, “I don’t get this.” Jamison stroked my hair. “I know kid, I don’t either” he replied. I looked up at him and shook my head. “She can’t be gone” I said quietly. Jamison bit his lip. He looks just like me when he does that. He took my head and pressed it back down to his chest. He kept stroking my hair. He moved away from me and stood up. “Come downstairs. Get something to eat, drink something” he said holding out his hand. I took a deep breath and exhaled.
I walked slowly down the steps as Jamison pulled me along. I walked into the kitchen and my parents stood there waiting for me. My mom started to tear up as she walked towards me. She pulled me in for a hug. “Oh honey, I’m just as upset as you are” she said holding my head closer to her. Excuse me?
I pushed myself away from her. “Just as upset as I am? You are not as upset as I am! How could you even say that? To you, she was just your daughter’s friend. To me, she was my best friend! You are not as upset as I am!” I screamed as I walked towards the door. “Clara” my dad said sternly as he grabbed my arm. I gave him a cold look and whipped my arm away from him. I opened the door and slammed it behind me. I stared into the darkness as I wondered where to go.
    Me: Are you home?
    Josh: No. Why??
    Me: Never mind.
I tucked my phone back into my pocket and kept walking. I entered the downtown area. I kicked snowballs down the sidewalk with my red converse. Snow lightly fell from the sky creating a light layer on the roads. I saw the lights lit up at the local stage theater. I could just make out the sound of screaming coming from the building. I wonder who was performing tonight.
I sat down on the curb and wrapped my arms around myself. It would have been smart to grab a coat but oh well. I heard the doors open to the theater. “Oh my god that was amazing!” one girl screeched. “I know right! He looked at me oh my god!” another screamed. I chuckled to myself. I watched the air come out of my mouth. It looked like Taylor. Everything looked like Taylor now. I still don’t understand why she would do it. She was always so happy.
I took out my phone and tried to look at a new text message from Josh. I tapped the screen over and over again, but it wouldn’t do anything. I groaned and chucked it at a snow bank. I ran my hands through my hair and tried to take deep breaths. “Rough day?” a voice said. I snorted and looked up towards the sky. “You have no idea” I responded. “Hey, everyone’s had rough days” the voice said. It sounded like they had an accent. I bit my lip and shook my head. “This isn’t just a rough day…this is the worst day” I replied. Two shiny black shoes stood next to me. They stepped onto the street, and then the person sat down next to me. “Everything gets better eventually” they said. By now, I was positive it was a guy and I was positive they had an Australian accent. “Things will never get better” I said looking at him. He had perfect, blonde hair and amazing aqua eyes. The ends of his pink lips curled up slightly. “You say that now, but in a year from now, maybe even closer than that, everything will start to feel better” he said. He looked into my eyes and smiled.
“I’m Cody by the way” he said. “I’m Clara” I responded. He grinned to himself. “Clara. That’s a nice name”. I smiled and looked forward. I looked at the yellow light reflecting off of the snow. I turned around and looked at the theater sign. Cody Simpson Live was what the sign said. I looked at Cody with a confused expression. “Are you Cody Simpson?” I asked. The ends of his lips curled. “Yup. Are you going to freak out now?” he asked. I giggled and shook my head. “No, I’m cool.” I replied. He smiled and ran his hands through his hair. “I like your music though. It’s really good” I said. He nodded to himself and looked at me. “Thank you, it means a lot” he said.
A black car pulled over to the side of the street. Cody looked up and sighed. “I don’t want to be rude, but that’s my car” he said. I shook my head. “Don’t worry about it” I replied. He stood up and put out his hand to help me up. I took it and he pulled me up. “Do you need a ride?” he asked pointing his thumb behind him. “No, I’m not looking to get home fast so I’ll just walk” I responded. He nodded and bit his lip. “Oh” he said reaching into his back pocket. “If you ever need to talk” he said passing me a piece of paper. I opened it and a number was written neatly in black ink. I smiled. “You just keep your number in your back pocket?” I asked. He smiled and shrugged his shoulders. I laughed and shook my head. He smiled and lifted his hand up as a goodbye. I did the same and watched him walk off to his car.
    Do you guys like it?

    Until I Met You
    A Cody Simpson Fan Fic
    Chapter 1
The eighth grade moved at the same pace as we walked down the hall. Our principal called our grade in for an important assembly. I wonder what it’s for. It’s probably about our behavior again. I looked around for Taylor, but I couldn’t see her. I wonder what she’s thinking.
I felt my chocolate brown hair swish against my back as I walked. Josh teasingly poked my side causing me to laugh like an idiot. I’m insanely ticklish. “Josh! Stop!” I said trying to catch my breath. Josh laughed and wrapped his arm around my shoulders. He never wrapped his arm around my waist because of how ticklish I was. “Calm down Clara” he said kissing my forehead. “No public display of affection!” Mrs. Addena shrieked as she stopped in front of us. I bit my lip as I tried to keep in my laughter. “Sorry Mrs. Addena” Josh said as he bit his tongue. She removed Josh’s arm from my shoulder and kept walking. We covered our mouths as we tried to keep in our laughter.
We sat in the cafeteria as we waited for all of the other classes to file in. I drummed my fingers on the table. What was so important that he needed to tell us?
The last class took their seats and our principal, Mr. Fradome stood on the stage. We watched as he paced back and forth taking deep breaths. He started making me nervous. I crossed my legs and bounced my foot. I looked at Josh and I could see in his deep brown eyes that he was nervous too. Mr. Fradome cleared his throat and finally began to speak.
“I don’t know how to put this, so I’m just going to say it. Our dear friend, Taylor Plutrand, took her own life last night.” All of the air in me was let out as a loud whimper escaped my lips. Tears rolled down my cheeks as my breathing became faster and heavier. My bottom lip trembled. I looked around the room and several others were crying. “I…I’m at a loss for words” said Mr. Fradome. The room was silent except for the whimpers that leaked through everyone’s mouths. More and more tears poured and my head shook in disbelief. “No” I whispered. I felt a hand on my shoulder and it was Josh. I looked at him, and he was crying too. I bit my lip and looked in his eyes. I shook my head and buried my face in my hands. I started sobbing and I could barely breathe. “NO!” I shrieked. “NO! NO! NO! TAYLOR! TAYLOR!” Teachers swarmed me and tried their best to lead me out of the cafeteria.
I felt my feet lift off the ground and I was being held bridal style. It was Josh. I wrapped my arms around his neck and looked up at him as I tried to catch my breath. He looked straight forward with a blank look across his face. He was trying to be strong for me, I could tell. I felt everyone’s eyes on me as I was taken out of the cafeteria crying hysterically.
We walked through the hallways of the school while I sobbed. I lifted my head from Josh’s shoulder to see that we were in an empty classroom. Josh sat down in a chair and I curled back into him. “You can stay in here until she calms down” said a voice. “Thanks Mr. Truford” Josh responded with a shaky voice. I heard Mr. Truford’s footsteps come closer. Josh’s body vibrated as Mr. Truford patted him on the back. He placed his hand on my shoulder. “I’ll be right outside” he said as he closed the door behind him.
Josh rocked me back and forth as he attempted to comfort me. I cried hysterically into his shoulder as I soaked his shirt. “Taylor, Taylor, Taylor…” I whispered as I drifted off to sleep.
I woke up in the same room I was in before but Josh was gone. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. What am I doing – Taylor. I clasped my hand around my mouth and I started sobbing and shaking. I got up and ran my hands through my hair. I paced back and forth as I tried to process what was said before. “Our dear friend, Taylor Plutrand, took her own life last night”. The words kept replaying over and over in my head. I bent down and placed my elbows on my knees as I buried my face in my hands.
Taylor can’t be dead. She was here yesterday. I talked to her last night! We video chatted before I went to bed! Why would she do this? What was so terrible that she didn’t tell me? Taylor can’t be dead.
I hugged my stomach as I rocked back and forth on my knees. I heard the door slowly creak open. “Clara!” Mr. Truford exclaimed. He rushed over to me and wrapped an arm around me. Him being here was making me cry even harder. I felt like my eyes were two rives streaming across my face. “SHE’S NOT GONE! SHE’S NOT GONE!” I screamed. “Clara…” Mr. Truford whispered as he choked back tears. I heard a rush of footsteps coming up the eighth grade stairwell. They must be coming back from a class…
I screamed into my shaking hands. Mr. Truford gave up and just rested a hand on my shoulder. “TAYLOR!” I screamed over and over again. I felt a thousand pairs of eyes on me. I looked up to see my classmates watching me with blank expressions. Some were crying. Mrs. Addena tried moving everyone along as best as she could. My breathing became heavier as my eyes slowly shut again.
What do you guys think about this story? Keep going?

    The Things I Needed Most
    Chapter 4
I opened the door to our new home and my jaw dropped. I walked into a huge wide open space. The living room was to my right and the kitchen was straight ahead. To my left was a staircase that led down to the basement. The living room had white couches with different colored blue pillows and a glass coffee table in the center. There was a huge plasma screen T.V up on top of a fire place. The fire place continued all the way up to the ceiling so there was a divider between the living room and the kitchen. The floors were shiny and made of dark wood. There were different paintings up on the light blue walls.
“Oh my god” I whispered to myself. I felt like I was on Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I ran over to the kitchen and took in the beauty. There were beautiful black and white marble counter tops with sea green cabinets and beige walls. The island in the center of the kitchen had a beautiful bouquet of multicolored flowers. The fireplace continued on this side so it was a double sided fire place. I went over to the huge metal fridge and opened it. It was empty so I assumed we just needed to go grocery shopping. My parents must have had this planned out for a while because the house was completely finished. I felt like I was dreaming. My parents walked in the front door and smiled. I ran over to them and hugged them like I’ve never hugged them before. “Thank you so much” I whispered. “You’re welcome Alena” they whispered. My mother stroked my light brown hair away from my face. I could see tears forming in her eyes, but I knew she wouldn’t cry.
“Go check out what’s upstairs kiddo” my dad said. I smiled and ran to find the staircase. I turned left at the kitchen to see a dining room. I didn’t pay much attention to it because I found the staircase and I was too excited to see my room. I ran up the carpeted stairs to find a hallway. I could go right, left or straight. This house was huge. I turned right to find a door that led to a bathroom. I saw the toilet seat and closed the door. I need to find my room. I turned around to face a door across from the bathroom. I opened the door to find the elegant master bedroom. I knew this was my parents’ room. I closed the door and left the right side of the hallway. I went to the left side of the hallway to find a room with no door. I walked in to find an empty carpeted room. I walked back out of the room and opened the door across from it. It was just a plain bedroom. It must be the guest room. So I finally decided that the straight side of the hallway was where my room would be. I walked down the long hallway to find a room with a purple door. I opened the door to find another empty carpeted room with a couple bean bag chairs, a plasma screen T.V, and a small wooden coffee table. I sighed and closed the door. I kept walking to find a white, metal, spiral stair case. I smiled and walked slowly up the stairs making sure I didn’t trip. At the top was the flat landing and then a black door. I touched the metal door knob and slowly opened the door.
So what do you guys think?? Is anyone even reading this?? Feeeedbackkk pleeassee :)

    The Things I Needed Most
    Chapter 3
I opened my eyes slowly as I watched my new world flash past me. I looked up at the lush, green trees and the clear blue sky. My music was still playing, but I saw a low battery signal on the screen. I hit pause and locked my ipod. I lifted my head off the window and sat up.
“Nice nap?” my dad asked. I slowly nodded my head and tried to rub the blurriness out of my eyes. “Are we almost there?” I asked groggily. “Almost” my mother responded quietly. I looked at all the nice houses on the street we were driving on. I could only dream to have a house as nice as these. Our car swerved through streets until we came up to one of the nicest houses I have ever seen. I thought we took a wrong turn and were using their driveway to turn around but I was wrong. The engine stopped.
I stared up at the house in disbelief. The huge, white stone house looked like a castle to me. There was a little square porch on the roof of the house, and a balcony sitting in front of two glass doors in the center. Must be one of the bedrooms. I heard a car door slam and I realized I was by myself. I quickly got out of the car and just stood there staring at this beautiful house. My dad walked up to me and slung his arm around me. “Nice house, huh?” he asked with a smile. “Nice? How could we afford this?” I asked. “Part of my company is down here in Alabama. I got promoted to head boss” my dad said with pride. I hugged him and rested my head against his chest. “You don’t know how much this means to me dad” I said. He kissed the top of my head. “I know kiddo” he said. He unwrapped his arms and smiled. “Well? Are we just going to stand out here all day or are we going to check out the inside of the house?” he asked walking over to my mom and putting his arm around her. I smiled and quickly walked to the front door of our new palace.

    The Things I Needed Most
    Chapter 2
I sat in my room with all of my best friends on the floor. We sat in a circle realizing this was our last regular basis sleepover. “I just can’t believe you’re moving to Alabama” Said Allie. I nodded. “I know me either. But I’m glad. It’s obviously not you guys. It’s just…I’m going to hurt myself if I stay here any longer” I said. Everyone nodded their heads in agreement. They all knew what I was talking about. “Did you tell Cam?” Bailey asked. “No. You guys can tell him at school tomorrow when I’m leaving. I don’t want to talk to him. He’s one of the reasons why I’m leaving” I replied. “Yeah, we’ll tell him” Annie said agreeing. I sighed and lay down on the floor. “I’m gonna miss you guys” I said. “We’re gonna miss you too” everyone said. “Just promise that you won’t replace us with some whores” Emily said. Everyone laughed and I looked at her. “I promise” I said laughing.
I got in the car and watched the moving van drive down the street. I grabbed my ipod out of my bag as my parents got in the car. “Ready to get out of Massachusetts?” my dad asked as he sat down. I nodded my head and put my headphones in. I wonder what our house is going to look like. I wonder how my new school is going to be. I wonder how Cam is going to react when he knows that I’m gone…
Feedback??? Was it any good? Do you guys like it??

    The Things I Needed Most
    Chapter 1
I grabbed the scissors and started cutting. The blood rose up out of skin and over my arm. Tears poured out of my eyes and I went for another cut as my mom unexpectedly walked through my door. I gasped and stared at her as she stared at my arm. She rushed over to me and ripped the scissors from my hand. My chin wobbled as I tried to keep the tears back. “W…what…WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS ALENA!” my mom yelled. I bit my bottom lip and kept trying to keep the tears back. I slowly opened my mouth and tried to make out some words. “I…I…I didn’t…” I stuttered. My mom shook her head and slowly backed out of my room.
I looked at my wrists and sighed. I thought how this was all because of school and a boy. I thought about how stressed out I get over little things. I took a tissue off of my night stand and wiped the blood away from my arm. I closed my eyes and dreamed of a place where I could get away from all of this…
I woke up to the sound of my parents talking downstairs. I put a sweatshirt on to cover the cuts and I went downstairs. My parent’s heads turned to look at me. “Sweetheart, sit down” my dad said. I sat down on the chair in front of them. I looked at them and waited for someone to speak. “Honey, you haven’t been yourself ever since you started eighth grade” said my mom. I bit my lip and slowly nodded. “So, we bought a house in Alabama. You need to de-stress yourself” said my dad. I looked at them in disbelief. “Seriously?” I asked. They nodded. “We’re sorry sweetheart, but it’s what’s best for you.” said my mom. “No no! This is great! This is what I wanted!” I said smiling. They smiled. “Really?” my dad asked. “Yes! I need to get out of here” I said. I sighed and thought about what was to come. I could finally start over.
I don’t think it’s that good. Should I keep writing and see where it goes? Feedback?

    Chapter 13
Four days passed since Andrew asked me to be his girlfriend. It was my birthday; July twenty-seventh. I was finally 15. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I heard a knock on my door. “Happy Birthday sweetie” said Andrew. He wore his green flannel pants and no shirt; he looked really hot. I smiled at him and he smiled back. He sat down next to me and gave me a big hug. He looked at me and pecked me on the lips; a short sweet kiss. I smiled and put my head on his shoulder. He stood up and held out his hand. “Come on, my dad is making your favorite breakfast” he said smiling. I took his hand and we walked downstairs.
“Happy birthday Ava!” everyone said as I walked downstairs. I smiled. “Thank you” I said. My mom came up to me and gave me a big hug. Shayna came next, then her mom. Her dad was busy cooking breakfast; chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, and toast. I sat down at the counter and Andrew sat next to me. He rubbed my back gently. “Ugh, can you not show affection in my presence?” asked Shayna. We laughed, and Andrew gave me a short kiss. “Blah! I think I might puke!” said Shayna with her tongue sticking out. We laughed again, and he continued rubbing my back.
“So, what do you want to do today Ava?” asked my mom. I thought for a while. “Hmm, I don’t want anything big. Maybe we can all go out for dinner?” I asked. Everyone nodded. I put my plate in the sink and ran upstairs. I wanted to go lay out on the beach. I took out my hot pink string bikini and put it on. I grabbed an oversized shirt that said love across it and threw it on. I put my curly hair up into a bun and grabbed my thin wired black sunglasses. I put them on my head and checked the clock. It was 10:15, so I went downstairs. Andrew was in the kitchen. He turned around with something behind his back. “Hey, what are you up to?” he asked. “Um, I was just gonna go lay out on the beach” I said. He nodded. “Do you want to go alone or-“he said. “No, you can come” I replied smiling. He let out a sigh of relief and took his arm out behind his back. He was holding a picnic basket. “Good, because I packed a picnic” he said. I laughed and took his hand.
We sat on our towels watching the waves. He had his arm around my waist, and I had my head on his shoulder. “Um Ava, where’s your dad?” he asked. I sighed. “Well, he left me and my mom when I was five. We don’t know where he went, he just left, and never came back” I said. “Do you miss him?” he asked. I thought for a minute. “Not really. I don’t really think about him. I don’t remember much of him. I’m mad that he just left me and my mom. I’m not sad that he’s gone, you know?” I said. He nodded. “I’m sorry Ava. I was always curious about that, but I was nervous to ask” he said. I nodded. “It’s ok” I replied. He took his hand and placed it in mine. He gently rubbed his thumb on mine.
kinda boring... what did you guys think? sorry it's short too

    Chapter 12
I started walking towards the van, but Andrew started leading me towards the beach. “Are we just going to the beach?” I asked. “Well, I know this place from when I was a kid. You have to walk on the beach to get there” he said. I smiled. “Okay, sounds good” I said. He smiled and pulled me closer to him. He led me down the beach. We walked along the water and let the waves roll over our feet. He took his hand out of mind and wrapped his arm around my waist. He kissed the top of my head. I smiled to myself. I love being with Andrew.
“Andrew, why did you start to like me now?” I asked him. He thought for a second. “Well, I always thought you were beautiful, but I never thought I would really like you. But I did” he said smiling. I smiled back. “Yeah, I always thought you were cute” I said. He smiled. “Really?” he asked. I laughed. “Nope” I replied. “Oh, I see how it is” he said. He bent down and splashed me with water. I laughed. “Andrew!” I screamed. I went over to the water and splashed him back. “I’m gonna get you Ava!” he yelled. I ran down the beach while he chased after me. I shrieked as I ran. All of a sudden, two arms wrapped around my waist and lifted me up in the air. I was cracking up. “Andrew!” I screamed. He held me bridal style and spun me around. I held onto him by putting my hands around his neck. He finally put me down, kissed my cheek and quietly said, “Gotcha”.
We reached the place Andrew was talking about. It was absolutely breath taking. It was a cave filled with water falls. A crystal clear pool was in the center, and there was a hole in the ceiling of the cave letting all of the sunlight in. It was amazing. “Oh my gosh Andrew” I said. He smiled. “Do you like it?” he asked. “Like it? I love it!” I said. He kissed my cheek and wrapped his arm around my waist. “I’m glad” he said. I walked over to a waterfall and ran my hand through it. It felt cool as it ran over my hand. Andrew took both of my hands and led me through the water fall. There was a small opening and the rest of the water fall surrounded us without getting us wet. It was so cool. Andrew looked me in the eyes. “Ava, ever since we got here, I’ve liked you more and more each day. You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. You take my breath away every time I see you. You make me smile, and laugh. You are something in my life that I have to live for. I want to spend every day with you in my arms. I want to keep you safe. You mean so much to me Ava, and I’m falling for you hard. So Ava, will you be my girlfriend?” he asked.
Everything he said took my breath away. No one has ever said anything like that to me before; nothing even close. I felt like I was going to cry. “Yes I’ll be your girlfriend” I said smiling. The biggest smile I’ve ever seen spread across Andrew’s face. He picked me up and spun me around. I laughed and laughed. He finally set me down, looked into my eyes, and kissed me. It was so much better than the last one. He ran his fingers through my hair, and I wrapped my hands around his neck. I never wanted him to let me go. He broke the kiss and smiled. He still had his hands in my hair. I bit my lip and smiled. He moved his hands down to my waist and held me tight. I kept my hands around his neck, and laid my head on his chest. He slowly started swaying and he started to hum in my ear. I don’t know what song it was, but I loved it. I never wanted him to let me go.
hehehe i liked this one <3 let me know what you guys think about it!

    Chapter 11
I had Andrew sleep with me last night. I was too scared. I woke up with his arms around my waist.”Good morning” I heard him say. I gasped and put my hand on my chest. “Oh my gosh, Andrew. I thought you were still asleep” I said. “Sorry for scaring you” he said stroking my hair. I smiled. “It’s ok” I replied. “You know, last night, at first I thought you were really flirting with all of those guys. But then I saw that you were crying. I got really jealous before I saw the tears” he said. “Really?” I asked. He nodded. It went silent for a few minutes, but then I slipped out of his arms.
“Go downstairs. I’m going to go talk to Shayna for a minute” I said. He nodded, and I went into Shayna’s room. She was sitting on her bed reading a magazine. I sat across from her. She looked up and she looked really upset. “Ava, I’m so sorry we went to that party last night. I didn’t know it was going to be like that; I didn’t want it to be like that. I was just lucky that the only thing that happened to me was that I danced with that guy” she said. “It’s ok” I said. “It wasn’t your fault”. She nodded. I stood up. “I’m going to get breakfast, you coming?” I asked. She nodded, and followed me downstairs. I stopped at the last step and turned around. “Our parents don’t know what happened, right?” I asked. She shook her head no. I let out a sigh of relief.
I grabbed a granola bar and sat down on the couch next to Andrew. He really put his arm around me this time. I put my head on his shoulder and he kissed my forehead. It felt nice to have him keep me safe. “Do you want to go somewhere today?” he asked me. I swallowed a bite of my granola bar. I looked at him. “You mean, like a date?” I asked. A smile spread across his face and his eyes lit up. “Yeah, a date” he said. I smiled back. “Yeah” I said. I put my head back on his shoulder and finished my granola bar.
“You know, I said you were going to use this dress for something special. But when I said something special, I didn’t mean a date with my brother” Shayna said smiling. I laughed. “Well that’s what I’m gonna use it for” I said. I had on the strapless, flowy white sundress and my fancy sandals on. I left my hair curly, and clipped a small part of my hair back with a cute light pink bow. “I do have to say, you look stunning. My brother is going to drool all over the floor” she said. I laughed and looked at myself in the mirror. My makeup made my blue eyes pop. I really did look pretty. “Is it weird that I like your brother, and he’s seventeen?” I asked. (I made a mistake, I said Andrew turned 16. He really turned 17. Sorry!) Shayna sho

    Chapter 10
I tried to find Shayna, but I couldn’t find her anywhere. It felt like the group of guys was following me around. Whenever I moved to a different room, they were there. Everyone was underage drinking. Everyone had a red cup in their hand full of beer. I didn’t expect the party to be like this at all. I needed to find Shayna. I walked into another room where everyone was dancing. Then I saw Shayna dancing in the middle with that guy. Even if I tried, I couldn’t be able to squeeze through everyone. All of a sudden I felt someone breathing on my neck.
I whipped around and one of the guys from that group was there. I was full of fear, and I think he could sense it. He reeked of beer; his clothes and his breath. He took my hand. “Come with me” he said with a creepy smile. “Stop!” I yelled. “Calm down” he said. I started to panic. I tried to leave him, but he wouldn’t release his grip. He brought me into the living room with the other group of guys. He made me sit down on the couch. I felt like I was going to cry. “Please stop” I said quietly. “What’s your name?” one of them asked. I breathed heavily. “I said, what’s your name?” he asked again putting his hand on my thigh. “Ava” I spat out. They all smiled. One started kissing my neck. I tried to get up, but two of them held me down by my thighs. “Please stop” I whispered.
Now, I started to cry. Not bawling, just little tears streaming down my face. “You want something to drink?” said one of them. I shook my head no. “Yeah you do” he said with his creepy smile. I started sobbing. “No, please let me go” I said. He placed a red cup to my lips and tipped it back. The foul taste of beer poured into my mouth. I spit it all out. They started moving closer and closer up my legs. Why isn’t anyone here to see this?! “Stop!” I yelled. They rubbed my legs and my stomach. I was really crying now. I heard the front door open. Someone please see me? “Ava!” I heard someone yell. Someone ran over, and it was Andrew. I let out a sigh of relief. “Hey man, wanna join?” asked one of the guys. I cried about the guys harassing me, and I cried that Andrew was here. “Let her go” Andrew said firmly.
When they didn’t let go, Andrew punched one of the guys. The whole group looked at him in disgust. They all got off the couch except for one who still held me on the couch. They all tried to punch Andrew, but he dodged every one. Andrew started throwing punches, and he hit them all. The guy holding me backed down, and let me go. I got up and ran into Andrew’s arms. I cried hysterically. He held me tight and told me it was alright. “Where’s Shayna?” he asked. “Dancing” I managed to say. He put his hand around my waist, and I directed him to the room. Luckily, Shayna was safe. She was just dancing with Haley. I pointed to her, and Andrew nodded. He found a chair and stood on top of it. He put his hands around his mouth and yelled, “Shayna!” The music stopped, and everyone looked at him. Shayna squeezed her way over. “What?” she asked irritated. She looked at me, then back at him. She looked scared and confused. Andrew nodded his head signaling for us to leave.
scary huh? what did you guys think???

    Chapter 9
I woke up feeling very confused. I got up and looked at myself in the mirror. I put my hair into a high pony tail. I walked across the hall and into Shayna’s room. She sat up in her bed fixing her hair. She saw me in her mirror and turned around. She smiled and patted the spot next to her bed. “So, how was that lip locking with my brother last night?” she said tightening her pony tail. I could tell my face was beat red. “How do you know about that?” I asked. She looked at me like I was crazy. “Hello? I was standing right behind you guys. What, did you think you two were the only people in the world when you kissed?” she asked.
“I’m sorry Shayna” I said. She looked at me confused. “Why are you sorry?” she asked. “Because I kissed your brother” I said. She laughed and shook her head. “I’m not upset or mad about it, it’s just weird and gross” she said sticking her tongue out. I laughed at her. “Come on, let’s go downstairs” said Shayna. I got up and followed her downstairs. Andrew was at the counter preparing him a bowl of cereal. He saw me, smiled, and winked. I smiled back and waved. It kind of felt awkward. I just went and sat in the living room. I turned on the T.V; nothing seemed to be on. “Hey Ava, my cousin lives around here and she’s having a party at her house. Want to go?” she asked. I thought about it for a minute. “Sure. When is it?” I asked. “Tonight from seven to eleven thirty” she said. I nodded.
It was time for the party. Shayna was wearing black skinny jeans, a cream tank top, and a black lace over shirt. Her long chestnut brown hair was tied into a low side bun and the makeup on her green eyes made them pop. I was wearing a short denim skirt a white lace tank top and a pink v-neck shirt over it. My curly jet black hair was straightened again and I had a black headband in. We went downstairs where our parents and Andrew were sitting in the living room. Everyone looked at us when we came down. “Wow, you look very nice girls” said Shayna’s dad. As usual, Andrew was staring.
Shayna’s dad dropped us off at her cousin’s house. There were cars parked everywhere, and you could hear the music all the way up the street. “You sure you girls want to go?” asked Shayna’s dad. “Yes” said Shayna. I was having second thoughts. We got out of the car and walked to the front door. I went to knock, but Shayna just walked in. I shrugged my shoulders and followed her. I looked around the party, and everyone looked like they were seventeen or eighteen. I started to get nervous. “Shayna!” yelled a girl. She ran towards Shayna and gave her a hug. “I haven’t seen you in forever! Oh Hailey, this is Ava” said Shayna. She smiled and waved, and I did the same. “Hey, how old is everyone here?” I asked. She thought for a second. “Sixteen, seventeen, eighteen. How old are you guys?” she asked. “We’re 14” I replied. Hailey smiled. “Don’t worry, you guys look sixteen” she said. She left us, and went with some other guy.
A group of older guys were whispering and staring at Shayna and I. “Do you see those guys over there? They’re totally checking us out” she said. I nodded. One of them walked over, whispered something in Shayna’s ear, and took her hand. That’s when I got really scared.
how was it? do you like it? whats gonna happen next???

    Chapter 8
A week passed by, and it was Andrew’s birthday. We were all going to Disneyland. This should be fun. I ran down the stairs, and I saw Andrew sitting on the couch. He was already ready to go to Disneyland. I jumped over the couch. “Happy birthday!” I said. He smiled. “Thanks!” he said giving me a side hug. “Well, I just wanted to come tell you happy birthday. I have to go get ready!” I said. He laughed. “Alrighty!”
I took a shower and straightened my hair last night, so I was all set. I change into light blue boyfriend jeans (the more baggy jeans with the ankles that roll up), a white tank top, and a red lace top to go over it. I slipped on my white flip flops. I combed my hair and had my side bangs out instead of clipped back. I thought I looked really pretty.
I went downstairs, and everyone was in the living room. I could hear Shayna and Andrew talking about how excited they were. My mom was frantically checking her bag, and Shayna’s mom was doing the same thing. Shayna’s dad was calmly watching wrestling. I laughed and walked into the living room. Andrew turned his head and smiled. He scooted away from Shayna so he made a spot in the middle of the couch for me. I smiled and sat down. “You look gorgeous” he whispered in my ear. I got the chills, and smiled. He was so sweet. Shayna laughed to herself and rolled her eyes. “Just friends, huh?” she whispered. My smiled faded when she said that. I looked at her and she had the you’re-falling-for-my-brother look on her face. I avoided looking at her. “I’m gonna get a granola bar, want one?” I asked Shayna. “I already ate” she replied.
We all got in the van. Shayna’s parents in the front, my mom in the next row of seats, and Shayna, Andrew and I in the way back. Andrew casually put his arm around the seat. It felt so wrong, but it felt so right. Well, it wasn’t around my shoulder so it was fine for now.
We finally reached Disneyland. We paid for the parking, and drove into the parking lot. We were in the Donald Duck section. We finally got into the park, and it was amazing. You could see Cinderella’s castle and everything. Andrew and Shayna have been here before, so they led me through the park. We got in line for a ride called California Screamin’. When we got on, I screamed my head off. It went super fast!
We did everything there was to do in Disneyland. Andrew held my hand on the Tower of Terror. I thought it was pretty scary. We all met up to watch the fireworks. When they started, Andrew intertwined his fingers with mine. I looked up at him, and he smiled. His hand was warm and strong. I looked at our hands, then back at him. His piercing green eyes stared into my ocean blue ones. I stood up on my tip toes and kissed him on the cheek. “Happy birthday” I whispered. He smiled, leaned down, and placed an innocent kiss on my lips. Sparks flew just like the fireworks above us. He broke the kiss and looked into my eyes. He smiled and whispered “Thank you”.
ok, to be honest i thought this one was reaaaalllyyyy good. what did you guys think???

    Chapter 7
I woke up to the sound of the ocean waves. My room was bright and really hot. I got up and went downstairs. Andrew was on the couch watching T.V. I was the last one up. I fixed myself a bowl of cereal and brought it out into the living room. I sat down next to Andrew. He smiled as I sat down. “Good morning” he said. I had a mouth full of cereal so I just nodded. He laughed and put his arm around the couch. At first I thought he was going to put it around me.
“Do you know what we’re doing today?” I asked him. He shook his head. “No, but I know what we’re doing next week” he said. I looked at him confused. “We’re going to Disneyland for my birthday!” he said smiling. I smiled. “Awesome!” I said. “I know right!” he said back. I put another spoonful of cereal in my mouth. Shayna came in and sat on the other couch. “We’re going shopping today” she said smiling at Andrew. Andrew threw his head back and groaned. We both laughed at him. “I hope they have an Abercrombie or I’m going to die” said Shayna. “I know” I said with a mouth full.
I ran upstairs to change. I grabbed dark short denim shorts, my fancy sandals, and an orange Hollister t-shirt. I brought that into the bathroom so I could shower. I took a shower, changed, and left the bathroom. I brushed my thick, damp hair. I looked over and Shayna was standing in my doorway. “You should straighten your hair” she said. I looked at her like she was crazy. “Are you kidding me? You think this will straighten?” I asked holding out a curl. She threw a bottle at me. It said climate control mousse on it. “Comb that through your hair, then come and see me” she said. I looked at her, then at the bottle, then back at her. I shrugged my shoulder and grabbed a comb.
I walked into Shayna’s room and gave her back the mousse. She nodded and signaled me to sit on the floor. I sat down and she blow dried my hair. After it was dried, she combed through it again. Then, she began to straighten the jungle on my head.
It took an hour, but she did it. I looked in the mirror and my jet black curly hair was now pin straight. I don’t know how Shayna did it. I loved it. I wish my hair really was that straight. “Shayna, thank you so much” I said looking at myself in the mirror. “No problem! Want me to do your makeup?” she asked. “Nah, I’m gonna go natural today” I said. She shrugged her shoulders and put her straightener away. I parted my hair to the side, and clipped my bangs back.
I went downstairs. It seemed that everyone was waiting for Shayna and I. Everyone looked at me. Andrew couldn’t keep his eyes off me. “Sweetheart, your hair looks amazing!” she said. I smiled. “Thank you” I replied. Everyone started walking out to the car. Andrew still stood there looking at me. I smiled and blushed. “You look beautiful, Ava” he said. I’m sure that my face was beat red. “Thank you” I said smiling. Shayna came down the stairs and looked at Andrew. “Quit drooling Romeo” she said. I laughed and followed her out the door. Andrew was close behind me.

    Chapter 6
“What is up with you and my brother?” Shayna asked as she lay down next to me. “What do you mean?” I asked. She gave me the you-know-what-I’m-talking-about look. “The walk on the beach, you guys are always laughing together” she said. “Nothing is going on between us. We’re just friend. Can friends not walk on the beach?” I asked. She laughed. “Whatever Ava” she said. She rolled onto her stomach and started tanning.
I got up and walked towards the water. Andrew was having the time of his life boogie boarding…and he looked kind of good doing it. I waved and he motioned for me to come out there. I shook my head and he started swimming towards me. “Come on!” he yelled. “No way! It’s too cold!” I yelled back. He swam all the way up to me and stood up. He grabbed my hand. “Come on, it’s not that bad” he said. I started laughing. “Are you kidding! It’s freezing!” I said as he started pulling me out further. I stopped walking and he looked at me. He smiled. “Don’t make me pull you out there” he said. I laughed. “Don’t you dare!” I said. “One!” he yelled. I smiled and shook my head. “Two!” he yelled. “No!” I said laughing. “Three!” he yelled. He grabbed my waist and threw me over his shoulder. Holy crap he’s strong!
“Andrew!” I said laughing. “Put me down!” “Okay” he said and he dropped me into the water. I came up laughing. “You jerk!” I yelled. He flashed that gorgeous smile and started laughing. “Come on, I’ll show you how to boogie board” he said. “Psh, I know how to boogie board” I said. He strapped the Velcro bracelet around my wrist. “Show me” he said quietly. I got on the board and waited for a good wave to come. I pushed my feet of the ground and let the wave push me to shore. I got up and saw Andrew laughing and clapping out in the water. I ran back out and gave him his boogie board. I smiled and he smiled back. He shook his hair and looked at me one more time. I smiled again and walked back to Shayna.
“That’s exactly what I mean” she said as I came back. “What?” I said nervously. She looked at me confused. “What? Oh, sorry I was talking to myself” she said as she flipped the page of her magazine. Phew, I thought she was talking about me and Andrew.

    Chapter 5
“Okay, I don’t even understand how we got this house” said Shayna. Her dad laughed. “A friend of mine owns it. He’s going to Italy for the summer so he let us rent it for half price since we’re friends” he said. I nodded. “That makes a little more sense” said Andrew. We all sat in the living room figuring out something to do. “Shopping?” asked my mom. Everyone looked at each other. Andrew and his dad scrunched up their noses. It was funny because they looked exactly the same when they did it. “Guess that’s a no” said Shayna’s mom. “Why don’t we just go relax on the beach, its right there” said Shayna pointing in the direction of the beach. Everyone looked at each other in agreement. “Everyone grab their beach things; we’re going to the beach” said Shayna’s dad. Everyone smiled and went upstairs.
Our parents decided the second floor would be our floor, and the third floor would be theirs. I walked into my room and looked through my bathing suits. I held up a black and white striped string bikini. I decided to wear that one. I put it on, and I threw a pair of short denim shorts on. I grabbed a loose shirt and threw it in my beach bag. I would just wear my bikini top over there. I threw my hair up into a high pony tail, and then I put my white sunglasses on top of my head. I slipped on my black flip flops, grabbed a towel, and headed downstairs.
Shayna’s mom was packing a cooler, and my mom was doing a double check on sunscreen. “Oh, Ava do you have sunscreen on?” she asked. I pointed to my bag. “Okay, just remember to put it on” she said. I nodded and decided to start walking over. I stepped outside and slipped my sunglasses onto my face. I smiled as I walked across the street. “Ava! Wait up!” said a voice. I turned around and Andrew was running across the street with a boogie board. I laughed and stopped walking. He finally caught up and we started walking again. “It’s beautiful out” he said. I nodded. “I know” I replied.
I laid my towel down in the sand. I took off my shorts and tossed them in my bag. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Andrew staring at me. I felt uncomfortable, but I liked it at the same time. I lay down and took off my sunglasses so I didn’t get a tan line. I looked up and Andrew ran off the water. He looked amazing. His muscles were huge and his hair blew in the wind. Plus, his eyes were even more beautiful than usual. And I was totally digging that six pack.

    Chapter 4
I heard a knock on my door. “Want to go check out the beach?” asked Andrew. “Sure. Where’s Shayna?” I asked. He laughed a little. “Sleeping” he said. I rolled my eyes. “Of course” I said laughing. Andrew tilted his head a little signaling us to leave. I got off my bed and followed him downstairs and out the door.
All we had to do was walk across the street and we were there. It was six thirty, so no one was on the beach; just a few surfers in the water. It didn’t seem like a very popular beach, but it was really nice. Andrew and I walked down to the water. “I’m so happy that we’re here” I said as the waves rolled over my feet. “I know” he replied. We both wiggled our toes in the sand. “So, you’re going to be sixteen in a few weeks” I said. He flashed his warm smile, and his piercing green eyes lit up. “You know when my birthday is?” he asked. “Yeah, July fifteenth” I said. He nodded, and shook his chocolate brown hair. “Yeah, it’s pretty exciting” he said. I nodded, and it went silent for a few minutes. We walked along the water, dodging it as it crept up to us.
It started getting pretty dark, so we headed back to the house. We went upstairs. I stood at my bedroom door and watched him go to his. He smiled. “Goodnight Ava” he said. “Night” I said. I walked into my room, and grabbed my iPod. I turned the volume up all the way and put it on shuffle. I put the last of my clothes in my closet, and shut the door. I changed into red flannel pajama pants and a white tank top. I threw my curly jet black hair into a high bun. I quickly ran to the bathroom across the hall. I washed my face, brushed my teeth and ran back to my room. I climbed under the pink comforter and with a smile I turned off my lamp. Something about Andrew makes me smile all of a sudden.
I woke up the next morning happy and refreshed. I went down stairs to find everyone awake except for Andrew. I saw Shayna’s dad making pancakes, so I decided not to get a granola bar. I sat on the couch in the living room. A huge flat screen T.V was on the wall. There were huge, long windows and three couches. I sat on the one facing the T.V. Someone flung themselves over the couch, and plopped down. It was Andrew. He smiles. “Good morning” he said. I laughed. “Morning” I replied. “Andrew, Ava! Come get breakfast!” yelled my mom from the kitchen. He got off the couch and offered his hand to help me up. I grabbed it and he lifted me up. We walked into the kitchen and inhaled the scent of chocolate chip pancakes. Today should be a good day.
