trouble
Chapter 1
There was always this one boy whom I've known since I was little.
Sure, Travis Kapone and I have never had any verbal or physical interaction, but I've watched him closely ever since we started school together.
He was always this carefree guy who made everyone turn their heads even without trying.
Travis Kapone had this natural aura about him that made everyone want to get to know him.
I don't know if it was the tattoos that ran up his arm, or if it was the smug look that he always had on his face.
Whatever it was, it got people interested.
I, on the other hand, was the exact opposite of Travis.
I was always invisible.
Now, I'm not complaining about not standing out like he does because sometimes, I'd rather be blended in with the crowd than to attract unwanted attention.
Travis Kapone carried trouble wherever he went.
Whether it was a rumor or not, there was always something good to talk about when it came to the topic of Travis.
Travis Kapone was just naturally always under the center of attention.
"Here he comes!" my best friend, Scarlet, whispered beside me.
She turned her head towards Travis, as her eyes became dazed.
I had my eyes focused on Travis, watching his every move.
He walked down the halls by himself, walking carelessly, as if he had not one care in the world.
His dark brown hair stuck up and was messy, and he wore a black hoodie with no shirt under, so that you could see a glimpse of his tattoos.
He kept his hazel eyes straight, ignoring all of the whispers that went on around him.
"I heard he hooked up with Tammy last night and left her afterwards." one whispered.
"I heard his dad secretly owns a weed company." a guy said. "Do you think he'll hook me up?"
I'm pretty sure Travis heard that one, because I saw the slightest smirk form across his face.
Suddenly, I felt a pair of hazel eyes lock into mine.
I felt myself stop breathing from the intensity of his eyes, but I didn't look away.
I wouldn't dare.
I held Travis' gave, until I got a hard shove from Scarlet.
"Riley!" she hissed, snapping me out of trance.
I turned to my red headed best friend, as I stared at her with a blank expression.
"What?" I asked.
"Travis Kapone just looked at you!" her eyes went wide.
I blinked at her, before shrugging. "So?"
"He doesn't just look at anyone." Scarlet muttered. "I wonder what he wants from you."
I know I have been absent for a while now, but I'm back with a new story.
The last story was just a pain to write, and I could feel it all going downhill once I started it.
But, I'm back with a fresh start, so feedback would be nice.
And I also have a new story on Wattpad.
