This is so true. As a long time Wittian, I've seen top quotes with 200, then with a 1,000! And I was like, Great, Witty is growing!! But now it's dying.
I think the answer is to write ORIGINAL quotes and not steal from Tumblr and Twitter. Put your HEART into it. Even if you don't get 1,000 faves, at least they have sustenance.

I always said this until I starting taking Algebra II.
Like, we still learn stuff like x^2+6x+5=(x+1)(x+5). But sometimes, the teacher pulls up articles and videos or asks us what we know about real life things. Life taxes and the fiscal cliff. I'm really thankful for this class because I'll actually use some of this stuff.

Soo, yeah. She's not saying "SHE DESERVED IT, I HATE HER." She's trying to make the subject lighter. People took it a little too seriously. None of this will bring her back. It's terrible and all, but we can't change the past. Hundreds of people die of suicide all day, but we don't mourn them, they don't make the news, we don't blow their situation out of proportion.
Long story short, it's a quote, calm the freak down.

And, if you listen to your therapist and just take the meds, you will feel so much better. You won't feel alone, you'll want to get up everyday, and you will get motivation. Please listen to the therapist, they know what they're talking about. We're all here for you and rooting for you. As for the parents, it's only because they love you and they're worried about you. Imagine if you have a depressed daughter with anxiety. You'd want to protect her, too.

My advice: Find something you can lose yourself in, just forget everything. For me, it's music, reading, and writing. Get good at it. Write out your feelings, burn it. Depression is a chemical imbalance in your brain.There are ways you can help it. So don't be ashamed. A lot of people live with these kind of problems and never tell anyone. You. Are. NOT. Alone. Chin up, Beautiful. Smile, you look better that way. Life is a beautiful thing. Get help and stay strong.
