High School: Liar and Cheaters
Chapter 8
Part 5
“No. I won’t! I’m just going to fall on my butt again! It is already sore!” I complained as I plopped down on the bench a little too hard, “Owwww.”
“I won’t let you fall, but if you don’t come back onto the ice in the next minute then I will let you fall. It is your choice.” Tyler says smirking at me while I return it with glare as cold as the ice in the rink.
Ice skating. Yes, ice skating. He brought me ice skating. I suck at ice skating. Always have and always will.
“You...are blackmailing me? What type of date uses blackmail?” I viciously whispered.
Tyler smiled, “Well of course I’m blackmailing you. Now come on, times almost out.”
“Fine, I’ll go back out there, but you can’t let me fall this time! I will be so mad at you if you do,” I hissed when I step onto the ice, “You are so lucky I like you!” I say smirking.
“I know,” Tyler’s low voice whispered as his warm breath enveloped my ear.
A little while later I walked up the steps of my dorm with Tyler walking closely behind. I turn around to say my goodbyes and find he is closer than I realized.
“Tiff, can...” He trailed off as his eyes, full of hunger, drifted towards my lips.
“Yes?” I asked a few inches away from his face. I put one hand gently on his chest.
“Can I kiss you?” Tyler breathed, slowly inching closer as his arms loosely slipped around my waist.
“Let me think about it,” I said smirking.
“Aww, don’t do this. Please Tiff,” He groaned, his eyes where half closed.
“Well then. Nope,”I giggled. I pushed my key into the door lock, twisted it and grinned once I heard the click.
My plan was going to work!
“What did you just say?” Tyler’s eyes flew open.
“I said that I wasn’t going to kiss you,” I stated.
One of Tyler’s eyebrows rose, “We’ll see about that!” I grabbed the door knob and twisted it as he leaned forward. I pushed open my door, stepped inside and quickly closed the door. I peered out the window next to the door and saw that he had fallen face first on the door. I whipped out my phone and quickly sent him a text contain a simple message, “Does the door kiss better than me? ;)”
I heard him laugh, “Cute. I’ll kiss you next time.”
“Who says there will be a next time?” I shout through the glass.
Tyler slowly turned towards the window and me, “I say there will be a next time. Tomorrow to be exact. I’m taking you for ice cream after the big game.”
“What if I don’t go to the game?” I grinned at my smart comeback.
“You have too! Your a cheerleader! Plus, if you don’t I will tell Britt about this and she will come and
get you.” He smirked
“Oh right. I forgot I was a cheerleader. Fine, see ya tomorrow.” I sighed, admitting defeat.
“Bye baby-girl,” Tyler winked and turned before walking down to his car. I watched him until he was out of sight. I giggled before spinning around.
“You seem like you had a good time on your date with Tyler,” A voice spoke out from the dark. I stopped spinning as I saw the figure draped on the couch and screamed.
