Life isn't fair
chapter 1 - Part three.
Katie knew that this conversation was about to turn much, much, more serious than it already was as Johny's face seemed to darken. She actually felt butterflies in her stomach, but not out of love... Out of fear. She winced as Jordan started whining in her ear, so she walked upstairs and put him down in his crib, when she turned, Johny was standing there.
"Could we talk in private, please?" His eyes darted towards the crib, where the two-year old was still half awake. I never understood, but Johny seemed to think that Jordan could understand every single word we said. So I nodded, and he grabbed my hand. He took me towards my room, and he shut the door behind him. My mom didn't live with me anymore, because she disowned me when I turned 16. That's okay. It was like she didn't exist to me anyways.
"What do you want to talk about?" I looked at him, slightly confused.
"It's not about what we need to talk about. It's about what I want to do." He grinned, and he started to unbotton my top. I backed away, disgusted.
"You're kidding, right?" I was angry now.
"Yes, hun. I mean, I would appreciate that after our talk, if I'm still in the mood." He was still grinning, and I rolled my eyes.
"I know your birthday is coming up, so I wanted to give you this." He pulled something out of his back pocket... Two tickets to Florida.
"Mines at home. I was thinking we could take a family trip for your birthday." Now he was happy. I was smiling, in shock.
"Why were you being all serious before?"
"I just wanted to scare you." He laughed. But I pulled him in for a hug and held him close.
"I love you." I whispered, and he grabbed my shoulders and stared into my eyes for a long moment.
"I love you too." And with that, he passionatly kissed me on the lips, and my heart was beating so quicky.
