Elanor's P.O.V.
I sat on the bleachers at the football game trying to comfort Aliyah because she was crying so damn much.
"He...how could he...do this to me!? Right..before PROM!" She said in between sobs.
We were at the final football game of the year and Aliyah had just broken up with Brenden.
I honestly didn't give a f*ck. I was glad they were over because now Brenden was all mine.
I'm glad Monique came up with that lie.
She's a true friend.
After the game, I would go up to Brenden and announce that he was available and I was available...you know the rest.
Aliyah continued to sob.
"It's okay..." I lied.

Monique's part of view;
I was picking my seat to watch Jerry in the game.
I was watching Brenden too, I mean he was a brat but I still wanted to see my Baby Brother in the foorball game.
I saw Elanor and gave her a thumbs up.
I sat next to some of my friends while watching the game.
"Did you hear?" Said Stacey one of the cheerleaders on my team.
"Aliyah dumped Brenden, I know."
A bunch of gossip filled the bleachers.
My phone vibrated.
"Freaking Aliyah won't stfu- Elanor"
"Just hold tight, the game is almost over -Monique"
I texted her. Then I put my phone away.
I watched until the end and everyone who was watching went back inside the school. Our team had one and Brenden and Jerry were in a really good mood. I was with Jerry when I saw Elanor come up to Brenden.
"Hey," Elanor said seductivly.
I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
"Um, hi." Brenden replied.
"I was wondering," She said in a lower voice, "I think we should go to Prom."
Brenden looked at her and opened his mouth to reply,
*Please say yes please say yes please say yes* I thought.
