"Sometimes you need a rude awakening to realize what is going on right in front of your face--the fact that you can no longer trust those that you used to tell everything to, and it's devastating. You feel so out of place and awkward. However, comfort finds you sooner or later because you realize that there are people that are experiencing the same thing you are. Made my witty when I was a Freshman in High School (2009)
and now here I am five years later as a Sophomore in College wanting to share some things I learned:
1. Having a set lunch time is something beautiful and should never be taken for granted even if the cafeteria food sucks.
2. The boy who you spent years of high school in love with, heart broken, will eventually be replaced and forgotten.
3. You'll get your heart broken multiple times while it's never as bad as the first time, it still hurts like hell.
4. Your parents become waaaaaay less annoying and soon you catch yourself wanting to spend time with them, wut?
5. Learning to drive a car is amazing, but secretly you'll miss carpooling with your friends and their parents.
6. You'll have moments of complete solitude and while at first it's scary, it can soon turn beautiful.
7. Geometry never comes in handy.
8. One day you'll realize how much you've grown throughout high school, but other days you'll look in the mirror and see the same girl who cried for months and months over a jerk who broke your heart. Learn to love this girl because like it or not she was once you and she comes out every now and then when you are at your lowest. Embrace her and tell her that you're from the future and don't need to worry because you are STRONGER and can overcome anything now. This is the most important of the lessons learned.

Our Generation
Our generation will be known for nothing
Never will anybody say,
We were the peak of mankind.

So, I've been seeing a lot of quotes about the "old witty."
I'm just going to give it to you straight.
1) People left
2) Lots of quotes are coming from tumblr, ifunny, facebook.. etc.
3) Bullying
4) Trolls
Now.
The MAIN reason why people have left is because they grew up. It's not always about wanting the "old witty" back.
Okay, people are going to get quotes from other websites regardless. -.-
And you can't stop it. Even I do it sometimes...
Bullying. For example, someone posts a quote with their opinion on it. People start attacking right away. Telling people how wrong and stupid they are isn't going to solve anything. If you disagree, stop commenting, click the back button and continue browsing the top quotes. It's simple :)
For the people trolling... STOP. This is a major reason why people are leaving. It's called bullying. If you see a troll, please block and report them.
And one more reason is because witty is getting boring. Witty is not for you to post your life story talking about how you cut, depression, etc. It's about expressing your feelings in any way possible.
If your quote doesn't fit into any of the categories, don't post it.
