Hey Elsie, know first that I am grateful you valued our friendship so much. I valued it too, but don't miss nor regret it. I'm happy with it remaining in the past.

I understand and accept. I understand what you mean when you say you want and not want.

I don't want our friendship back.

Harsh of me just stating such a blunt sentence, but I know you understand, if not now, you will. We have both change a hell lot since we last properly spoke, I'm sure. We aren't who we were before, I'm sure.

Which is why I don't count on our previous friendship, but maybe a new one, if you will.
