i don't know what to do
we talk everyday, except it's only in class. but when we do
talk he acts like he likes me, some girl even thought we were
dating. we've been talking like this since january. i'm really
trying not to be stupid and over think everything. i don't want
to fall again, but somewhere in my head i think he'll be there
to catch me. i'm just lost i guess. he's always on my mind.

he'll never look at me the same way.
he has a girlfriend now. i'm just the girl who sits behind him in math, and next
to him in spanish. i'm nothing to him anymore. we used to laugh during the middle
of class, and after school he would drive me home. car rides were always the
best, especially when he would go out of his way to talk to me longer. now we no
longer talk, we dont laugh together, and he doesn't drive me home. i went from
talking to him at 4am, to having no clue what to say to carry a conversation in math.
he moved on, so why can't i

i wonder if he remembers
the late night talks, making me laugh and the way we'd smile at each
other. or if he remembers all those times he'd joke around with me, make
funny faces, and text me until i go to sleep. i wonder when he walks down
the halls he looks for me through a crowd, or when a door opens he hopes
it's me. i wonder if he goes through old messages he's saved from me just
wishing he could see me again. i wonder if he ever wakes up a little bit
earlier to look nice just in case he saw me, or thinks about what he'd
say or do if he ran into me. i wonder if i'm ever on his mind. i wonder
if he remembers my birthday or all the little things
i wonder if he does because i know i do
