Hello there everyone!!!!!!
Bet you thought you'd never see me again.
Well, HERE I AM!!!
I'm here to update you on my life lol. Like y'alls care ;P
I am for certain a Purple Raider (University of Mount Union, Alliance, OH)
Major: Psychology
Minor: Either music or criminal justice
I plan on being a criminal psychologist because I think that I'd like to profile criminals and stuff.
Love life: nonexistent still. I told that guy I liked him, he didn't like me back, and now my best friend...er, former best friend, likes him and stabbed me in the back and did stuff that I never thought she'd do to me. So we're not friends anymore. Long story and it's personal, soooo, yeah.
I have a feeling I'll possibly meet the right guy in college so I'm not too worried. This old hometown has nothing to offer me, so I'm outta here guys and gals.
Hmm what else?
I'm not sure. So, chat with me I suppose? ;P

So, I've just realized that I'm gonna be one of those girlfriends that really isn't comfortable with sappy texts or stuff. Like, if my boyfriend says something like "Close your eyes...what do you see?" Then I would say nothing. "That's my life without you." Yanno, stuff like that? I'd be all "...aw..." but inside I would feel awkward and stuff. I guess I'm just not very good at accepting or expressing emotions. Lol...is that weird...? O_o
For the record, still working on the whole having a boyfriend part. Good news is if it works out, he isn't one of those sappy guys either. See? We're meant to be lmao.

Another update on that friend of mine that got dumped and wanted to kill himself.
They're going to "try things out again" because they've "worked things out" and "she's more mature now."
Dude. It's been about a month off of that relationship. She hasn't changed that quickly.
I tried telling him things and he promised me he wouldn't go back to her. WELL HE BROKE THE PROMISE. I'm sorry, I just hate when people break their promises...
Anyhoo, his other two friends, who are my friends as well, told him before school was even out; if he got back with her after all she's done to him, we wouldn't talk to him anymore. He knows it's stupid to go back with her but he obviously doesn't care about his well-being.
Okay, I know this sounds like we're (us friends) are just being selfish, but if your best friend got abused mentally and physically by their significant other, wouldn't you be a little protective over them and get upset when they go back to this person? I mean, I had to watch my friend contemplate suicide because of her! I talked to him as much as I could so he wouldn't kill himself. I'm scared things will go back to how they were. This is how it's always been; she's manipulative and he doesn't realize it.
I just don't want to lose my best friend, but I feel like I already have...
Sorry just had to vent.

He's doing a lot better now. I think he finally is starting to move on. Now he just needs to somehow talk some sense into his dad because his dad is super (overly) protective and won't let my friend do barely anything (which makes him more depressed than he already has been lately). We're planning on going to see a movie so hopefully he'll be allowed.

I don't know how long this will last, but I'm feeling gooooood.
Like, I have no worries about my love life. I've decided that hey, if it happens, it happens. If I don't get a boyfriend this year or next year, whatever. I have my whole life ahead of me. I'll have college to find mature college guys...
Plus, why start dating someone now if I plan on moving away to college? It would be kinda tough to date, and I wouldn't wanna hurt my significant other by not being able to see them all the time and stuff.
I dunno, I just got some sense knocked into me. There are more important things to worry about right now. Like, I need a job. I need to work on my relationship with my father. I need to apply to as many scholarships as possible so I can get enough money to go to my dream college (University of Mount Union). I need to get healthy. I need to make sure that I have good friends to finish off my last year of high school.
And I need to stop drinking so much dunkin' donuts coffee and lattes. Can you say caffine overload? (Plus, the part of my last paragraph...I need to get healthy--AKA slow down on the DD and whatnot:P)

So, hello everyone. I just felt like talking about my college visit from yesterday. I'm so excited about it! Hahaha.
Well, I went to Alliance with my mom for a visit to the University of Mount Union (this is in Ohio by the way...).
Anyhoo, we went to my first ever college visit. I was pretty nervous but once I started to talk to the info lady I felt better. Then, I went on my tour with a current student. Lol, Tim the Tour Guide! He's going to be a sophomore and he's going for computer scince stuff. At first I was like "Oh no, this dude is probably a jock and a jerk..." but no, HE'S A BAND GEEK LIKE MEEEEEEEEEEE! I told him how I am in band and he's like "REALLY?! What do you play?" So I told him (sax, mello, french horn). He's like "Whoa you play a lot!...I'm in percussion...Yeeeahh I'm a 'dummer'." lmao. Then he tried to get me to join the "Steel Drum Ensemble" if I end up attending MU. Lmao.
Back to the actual visit lol.
So, as I kept going on this tour of campus I learned a few things:
~There are 7 dorms, 5 of which I am allowed to enter lol. (2 Female, 3 Co-ed, 2 Male)...I think these are for freshmen.
~Facilities are great.
~The cost of attendance is...O_O...$36,100...but that includes anything you'll ever need. Unlimited meal plan, entrance to all school events free of charge, free laundry, classes (of course), room and board, use of the gym, if I get sick they have a medical place on campus...I can go see a doctor for free, parking, etc. It's amazing.
~The freshman girl dorms don't have a/c but oh well.
~I'll be only 45 minutes away from home if I do end up staying in a dorm (which goes against my original plan of staying at home).
~They have a chapel on campus if I want to go attend a church service.
~I can qualify for the highest scholarship from them if I maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 and get at least a 27 on my ACT. This scholarship is practically a full ride...
~I can still be in band and stuff.
~I'll be majoring in nursing--they just got that program and I'll be getting completely brand-spankin'-new facilities.
~They will help me find careers.
~The classes are small...13 to 1 student-teacher ratio (Which is great considering I come from an extremely small high school.
There's a lot more that I could write about but that's enough. You get my point lol.
I honestly belive that this is where I want to go to school. :) I. Am. In. Love. (Plus, the school color is PURPLE!!! MY FAVE COLOR! It's just meant to be lmao)
:DDDDDDDD Let's hope I get a 27 on my ACT and keep my GPA up this year:)

Oh dear, I need to vent.
So my bestfriend and his girlfriend just broke up. She's really messed with his head the past two years. He's scaring me now, because 1) I've never seem him so sad that he cried in front of anyone and 2) he keeps saying that he just wants to die. I love this guy like my big brother and it hurts me to see him like this. I don't wanna keep bugging him, but he's talking like he's suicidal and it scares the sh/t outta me. He has too many people that care about him. I honestly think she never truly loved him...just used him for things because she really couldn't get any other guys in our school (it's not like we have a big selection of guys around here anyway). I don't know what to do. I want to help him soooo bad but all he wants is to be alone. Apparently his home life right now isn't too great either. Which, I know how that feels. But I know that if he's alone too long he'll talk himself into doing something stupid. Like I said, I love this kid. He's like the brother I never had. I just want him to be safe and not hurt himself. He's my best friend...
On a brighter note, while we were back in the computer room, he was crying and stuff, and the guy I liked just made me like him more. He was talking to my best friend, telling him how he hates to see people upset and stuff and he wanted to know what was wrong, and he was just trying to help him out. I dunno, just gave me more resepct for him. Plus, he did a few more things today making my doubts about anything between us kinda fade away. I'm still not sure yet. But anyhoo, if any of you have been through this where either you or your friend felt like this, let me know if you know what I should do. I want to help so bad. I'm praying that he'll get better or at least not hurt himself...
