I’m sure that you have
one of those moments
where you feel so cute and pretty because
you got a new haircut or a new set of clothes,
but when people compliment you, you usually say no.
This is because you know that there are other girls out there
that guys absolutely go crazy for.
You should know that there is really someone
out there for you, even if you still have no one
you call “mine” right now.
Always think about the positive things about life,
and somehow, it will reflect your outlook towards it.

I want someone
to take me out on one of those surprise dates.
You know?
I’d be totally unaware, not suspecting anything.
I’d go through my day like usual and
when I’m just laying in my sweats, watching TV,
the doorbell rings.
My special someone would be standing there,
all smiling with flowers in his hand, telling me,
“Go get ready, we’re going out tonight.”
And we would just roam the city, take in the night life,
the scenery of what happens when the moon rises.
We’d hold hands, walk under the streetlamps, and talk.
