...Should not exist. but what is a quote going to do? its going to do a lot. Another Kayla story...
Once, my mother asked me to take my little sister, Kayla, to the mall. She's only 5, and I'm 16, but she loves going to the jewelry stores and tries on fancy necklaces she can't get and the kiddy inside-playground things. So I drove her over there, and she ran inside, screaming "Josh! Hurry!" I walked behind her, because she's still young and not very fast. First, she ran to the jewelry shop and grabbed a necklace. It was a faux-diamond butterfly necklace, and it was fairly expensive. I had to pull it off her neck before the owner saw her touching it. She started crying, and I didn't know what to do. So I dragged Kayla out of the shop and pointed to the playground. "Look, Kayla!" I said, pretending to be exited. She rubbed her eyes, stopped crying, and smiled. Then, she ran over to the the playground, laughing. I was relieved. Then, I sat on a bench and watched her play. Then, she climbed to the top of a jungle-gym equipment, and I was scared as heck. I quickly got in there and pulled her off, which didn't help her mood. Her face became all red again, and I panicked. I carried her over to the food court and told her I would get her an ice cream. She immediately stopped her tears and I bought her a cone at a fast-food restaurant. But nothing lasts, and she soon dropped it and started crying again. Kayla isn't a bratty kid, but she's very sensitive; I was sensitive when I was her age, too. So I tried one last thing: I took Kayla to the toy store. She got a teddy bear, and was completely content until we drove home. When my mother asked how she was, I said "Oh, no trouble at all!" ;]
