Okay, just because someone is gay does mean that God hates them. I'm getting so mad reading comments that say that because God loves everybody whether you are gay or straight. It is just homosexuality that he does not support. Let's say you are gay, God does not hate YOU, he just does not like the fact that you are gay. He does not hate you as a person,he just does not like your sexual orientation.

@Whitecherry Okay, now you're putting words into my mouth. I never said being gay was unnatural and I never said I was against gay people. I said In was neutral. I don't care if you're gay, but I also don't scream out to the world that I hate gays. I have a gay friend, but does that mean I think he should go burn in hell? No, it doesn't. And yes there are many things in Leviticus that are a little weird and outdated, but being a homosexual is mentioned several times throughout the bible, so I think it's a little bit bigger of an issue than not touching decayed meat. Also, how do you have the right to say that my opinion is wrong? Opinions are opinions, they are not facts, so they are not right, nor wrong. My opinion is what I feel, just as your opinion is what you feel. I never said your opinion of being gay and gay marriage is wrong, and I also never said it was right, because it's an opinion and can be neither wrong nor right. I said that I was neutral about gay marriage okay. I AM NEUTRAL! And if I can't express that then what kind of place is Witty? A place where people can say what they think is the ''right'' thing and when someone goes against them, they are wrong? I don't think Steve ever intended for Witty to be like this.

Okay, Witty is a place for us to express our opinions and to vent and to write inspiring things. Lately the idea of gay marriage has been a popular topic and if everyone else can say how they support gay marriage then why can't Landon say that he doesn't? You are all hypocrites saying that Witty should be a place to express yourself. Well, when someone does, but says something you don't like you all go ballistic. I posted a comment earlier about how I am a Christian, but I'm neutrual about gays and gay marriage because when I was growing up it was never thrust into my face that being gay was wrong a sin. Some of you are saying that is God loved us so much he wouldn't make people gay, or put people thorough things such as cancer, sickness, heartbreak, ect., but he doesn't. I learned from my granny that in the bible it apparently says that Satan goes to God and asks permission to do all of those horrible things to people such as I listed above and God lets him because he loves you. It might be hard to understand but think of God as a parent. If your mom or dad punishes you, they still love you right? That is the same with God. He may punish you but he still loves you as much as he did yesterday and as much as he did the day you were born. This whole thing is getting out of control and honestly I don't why everyone is making a big deal out of him expressing his opinion because I've seen some really mean things in these comments that people have said. You wouldn't want these things said to you would you? No, you wouldn't so think before you act.

Honestly, I don't know what to think about gay marriage. I mean, I always feel a little uncomfortable around gay couples but it's no problem for me even though it's supposed to be. My dad and my mom's sides of the family are religious and don't believe in gay marriage and stuff, but I'm like the new generation and don't know what to think. I grew up a Christian, but it was never forced upon me that gay people were wrong or unnatural or sinful. I just knew that I went to church and that I praised God. So, I don't know if it's wrong to support gay marriage or just be neutrual about it, but I support your choice for posting this because it's your opinion.
