Chapter Eight/Oh, Luna♥
Still running, i sped out of the library eager to find someone to talk to. Knowing i couldnt talk to Hermione, considering the whole Ron ordeal, I started to search for Luna. Luna Lovegood was the most unpredictable, silly girl i had ever met. She was serene and quiet, but still managed to make everyone around her giggle... or roll their eyes...
"So.. you're saying that Draco likes you and you kind of like him but you hate him.." Luna said, trying to make sense of it all. I nodded my head and waited for her to continue on. "Well, instead of running away why dont you talk to Draco and sort out your feelings?" she said quietly. "Are you crazy?!" I said, jumping up from my spot under the tree. "i can't do that! I can't like him! Whizzing Wizzbee's Luna! I'lll find someone else to help me!" I slammed my fist into the tree and stalked away from the outside haven i found Luna in. "I advize you not to walk through the great hall, Talia!" she yelled as i trudged away. "Dont tell me what to do!" i snapped back.
Curious at what Luna was talking about, i rounded the corner into the Great Hall. Only to be greeted face to face with none other than, Draco Freaking Malfoy. "Hello Talia." He said in a monotone voice. "Um, well, hi.." i said. I knew my face was probably turning a sickly shade of red. "About earlier..." Draco started. Before he continued, he stepped closer.. so that he was whispering in my ear. "I'm sorry for expressing my feelings in such a way that caused you to become a coward and run away. I expected more from a pureblood." My eyes widened at the last word. "Don't say that out loud!" I hissed back in response. "Do what i tell you and you won't have to worry about your secret getting out."
What would i do to protect my secret?

Chapter Seven/A Choice ♥
As we turned a corner near the back of the library, i immediately knew where we were going. There was a tiny reading nook that virtually no one ever went to. It was littered with books and half chewed licorice wands, but it was still cozy and inviting. Draco quickened his pace and sat in the arm chair farthest away from the students of Hogwarts. I followed him and took a seat in the one to the left of his.
"So whats going on?" I questioned. He looked up and directly into my eyes, making me have a wierd sort of feeling in my stomache. I swallowed and waited for his response. "You have to promise not to tell anyone, Talia." I nodded my head and gestured for him to continue on. "Its just that, whenever i'm near you... my heart beats really fast. Whenever i'm near you... Sometimes I can't breathe. Whenever i'm near you... I only see you." I gasped and looked away from his gaze. Malfoy? Malfoy can't like me. I cant like Malfoy. I abruptly stood up and shook my head furiously. "Are you saying your in love with me?" Draco jumped up and stepped towards me. "Are you saying your in love with me?" He responded. "This could never work..." I said quietly. "It doesn't have to." He brushed a peice of hair away from my face and leaned in towards me. His lips crashed against mine and for a moment, i forgot where i was. When i finally came to my senses i pulled away.
"I.. I can't.."
And i ran away.

"So, how was detention with Malfoy?" Harry whispered from across the table. I looked up from my book and stared at his overly-curious face. "Harry, for the millionth time. Nothing happened!" He leaned back in his chair and looked at me. "Talia, You can tell me-" Harry was interrupted by a sudden flurry of giggles from behind me. When i turned around, i saw Ron and Hermione walking in, with Ron's arm draped over Hermione. For some reason, the whole thing didn't look natural. Hermione was staring possessively at Ron, while Ron seemed to want nothing to do with the whole situation. They continued walking until they finally dropped down (loudly, i might add) onto our table in the corner of the library.
"Ronny was just telling me this hilarious joke about a warlock and an Ogre.." Oh my god. someone kill me.
I'm going to be late for class... i thought worriedly. I sped through the hallways, frantically searching for the Defense against the Dark arts classroom. Why were Ron and Hermione together? I shook the thought out of my head and continued on. I suddenly turned a corner and ran smack into a wall, and all my belongings flew onto the floor. As I bent down to get my things i bumped heads with someone...
I blinked a few times, and when i could finally see again, i saw a shock of blonde-white hair. My heart skipped a beat and i lost my breath. "Um.. are you ok, Talia?" I looked up and my bright green eyes met with sparkly silver ones. "Um, er. Yeah.. perfect. thanks. heh." He tilted his head in confusion and blew a loose piece of hair to the side of his head. "You dont seem like it.." he replied softly. There was a few seconds of silence before he broke it.
"Lets take a walk."
