i had a flashback today

Looking up at my enormous high school, I thought to myself, the years have gone by so fast. It seems like just yesterday I was still drinking formula & wearing floaties into my Grandma's pool in Florida. I remember eating watermelon with my old babysitter and her puppy, Malcolm. It seems like just yesterday we were moving into our present house, but really it was 12 years ago. It seems like just yesterday that my little brother, Ian, was born, but really it was 10 years ago. It seems like just yesterday that I was staring up at the biggest school I thought I could ever go to, elementary school. I remember eating nachos during snack time every day in kindergarten. I remember reading Clifford books in 1st grade. I remember the airplanes that hit those towers, and murdered my uncle. I remember getting the worst bug bite i had ever gotten at the beach one summer. I remember meeting my best friend, and she still is my best friend today. I remember the Indian play in 3rd grade. I remember the coal mine field trip, and the Ellis Island field trip in 4th and 5th grade. I remember staring at yet another school, middle school. I remember having different groups of friends. I remember drama. I remember getting my first period. I remember changing classes, bells and lockers. & now i have finally made it to the biggest school of all, high school. I realized something today that i never realized before, and i should have.
