Hi there, I'm Gavin Whitley. (:
I am sixteen years old (My birthday is February 11th)
I am the oldest of four kids. Four is a lot, I know. (Probably not as much as some people)
My younger sister Mary, who is fourteen.
My other younger sister, Annie, who is ten.
And my little brother, Lewis, who is four.
I live with my mom because my parents are yeah, divorced.
I hear about witty from my sister Mary and her friends.
I'm hoping to make friends on witty.

I honestly don't want anyone on this website to hate me.
That's not going to happen though. There are going to be people who are going to hate me. I don't want them to, but it happens sometimes. I've been on witty for a day and people are saying I'm fake because I knew how to make a format. I asked people on chat and they explained it to me. One girl linked me to the help and showed me where I could get that stuff. She explained the stuff I had to do and when I figured it out I tried it out, making random stuff. I already knew how to mess with fonts, sizes, Italic, Bold, Underline, etc., because for my classes I use them. I used to resources I had. I went on someone's -who was recomended to me- witty and saw something called layout credit. I new what a layout was and I clicked it. I watched a video on how to do it and tried my best. I also asked people how and that helped. People were also saying that I was fake because they hadn't seen 'fake boy' quotes. When I first logged on early in the morning I saw one and thought, "Eh." Then I saw a few more and when I stumbled upon and top quote I saw why. So, this is what I have to say. Please be nice. I didn't come on this website to be hated on, actually it was a dare.

This is another short story I wrote for English(I got a B though -.-)
I sit on the cold pavement waiting. I've been waiting for as long as I can remember. Covered in snow, freezing. I know she'll come though. She has to. I can't leave because if I do, I'll miss my chance to see her. To see her one last time before she breathes her last breath. I'll wait forever if I have to.
It's night now and the streets are less busy. There are less people walking on the sidewalks trying to tell me I'm crazy. "I'm not crazy!" I yell at them and they get frightnened and run away.
She told me to meet her here. The doctor is supposed to bring her here so I can say goodbye to her. Did she lie to me? No, she loves me and lying to me would be out of the question. She must be on her way. Yes, she has to be on her way.
I can no longer move or feel my fingers but I don't care. I lay down on the sidewalk and wait longer. I can't feel my cheeks either, or my legs. Everything is just warm now. My entire body is warm. It's the type of warm you get when you're too cold.
I can't leave.
I'll wait here forever.
Forever.

I don't want any 'special treatment' because of that.
I see all these quotes saying, "All boys on witty are fake."
Well, no they're not. I'm not a fake boy. You can go ahead and believe me if you want to. That's your call, not mine.
I can't make you believe me and I can't make you not believe me.
I'm new here, yes, but that's because my sister dared me to make an account.
She said it was a mostly all girls website and dared me to make an account. So I did.
I didn't think I would like it, but it seems pretty cool on here. I like the people I'm talking to and I like making quotes.
Don't follow me just because I'm a boy.
Follow me because you like my quotes.
I'd rather have no followers and good quotes
than have 3333,453498572034875 followers just because I'm a boy.
I want my followers to actually like me.
I want to work hard for my followers.
I don't want them because I'm a boy.
So what?
So, stop saying every boy on witty is fake, because they're not.
You have no proof of that unless the come out and say that.
You're making a guess and causing issues that don't need to be there.
So, if you don't have anything nice to say to someone, don't say anything at all.
I believe that is from kindergarten, maybe sooner.

I wrote this for a short story in class once:
I leaned against the tree looking at all the ants and spiders climbing up and down. They looked so tiny compared to me and it made me think about something. What if there is someone bigger than me, watching me wactch the insects?
I see an ant get blown down the tree by the cool breeze out. He topples down the tree and I watch him land on the ground. He gets up immediately and starts working his way up the tree. Halfway up though, he stops. I watch him crawl back down the tree and onto the sidewalk again. Where is he going? I wondered.
He moved as fast as he could to another ant that had died. It was crushed and no longer moving.
"Poor ant," I whispered. "That was your wife, wasn't it? You loved her and you put your heart and soul into making a relationship that could work - you loved her with all your heart and more but in the end you were unaware that she would be leaving. You didn't even get to say goodbye did you?"
I turn back to the house I use to live in with the girl I had loved and lost almost a year ago.
"You know, mister ant, you and I, we are in the same boat."
