Okay! Here's the first part, tell me what you think!

My sophomore year of high school was finally over. It was summertime, and I couldn’t wait to go visit my best friend, Tessa. She had moved away from California last year, and I had just survived my first year in school without her since the third grade. Now that school was over, I finally got the chance to spend the entire summer in Georgia with my best friend.
I walked home from school, so happy that I was oblivious to almost everything. When I finally reached my house after the four block walk from school, I swung the door open, and sprinted upstairs to my room.
“Violet?” I heard my mom call from downstairs, “Is that you?”
“Yeah, Mom! I need to pack for Tessa’s!” I shouted as I grabbed my sky blue suitcase from my closet and began throwing my entire wardrobe into it.
I heard my mom’s footsteps slowly come up the stairs, “You haven’t even packed yet? You do realize that your flight leaves tonight, don’t you?” She entered my room and stared at me with one eyebrow raised, a look I often got from my mom when I did something different than how she would have.
“I know, I know. I just had so much going on at school, and I hardly ever had time. I’m sorry,” I stopped packing and looked up at her, honestly sorry that I disappointed her so often, even with little things such as when I packed for a trip.
My mom left my room, and I finished packing as quickly as I could. I made sure to pack outfits for every kind of weather and occasion, just in case. I had no idea how this summer was going to happen. Once I was finished, I hauled my suitcase downstairs and placed it by the front door.
“Hey, Mom?” I called.
“Yes, Violet?” Her answer came from the kitchen. I skipped towards the sound of her voice, and took a seat at the island in our kitchen. “What is it, Violet?”
“I’m ready when you are!”
“Alright, let’s go then.”
I dragged my suitcase to the car, and tucked it into the trunk. The entire drive to the airport my mom lectured me on making good choices and respecting Tessa’s parents and not getting into trouble. I don’t know why she doubted me so much, I had never been in trouble before. Why would I start now?
After what felt like the longest car ride of my life, we finally reached the airport. I pulled my long dark hair into a ponytail, grabbed my suitcase, hugged my mother goodbye, and started for the airport.
This was going to be the greatest summer yet.

Okay, so, that's it so far! What I'm planning on doing is having Violet go to Georgia to see Tessa, and meet a boy there, but Tessa disapproves:) Hah, let me know what you think!
Oh, and by the way, you're really pretty! Hah:)

Oh, yeah, that makes sense.
Uhmm, should I post it in the comment section?

Haha, it's okay:) I'm so glad you liked it!
Where should I post it so you can read it?
Ohh, also! I made a new account for stories. I called it WatchTheStars. Which isn't the name of my story or anything, I just liked how it sounded. Hah!

Hah, the quote you favorited wasn't my first chapter. That was a true story. Hah:) But I'm glad you liked it!
How should i send you the first chapter?

Oh, got it! I like how you named it after your first story.
But, that brought me to another question. (I'm sorry this is taking so long, but I really appreciate the help!) How do you name your stories?
reply

Forevermore · 1 decade ago
Yay! Thank you so much for all of this! I'll tell you when my first part is done:)
Oh! And, what should I name my new account..?
reply

Forevermore · 1 decade ago
Of course it helped!
I think I'm going to start soon, but when I finish the first chapter, would you mind reading it before I post it?
reply

Forevermore · 1 decade ago
Okay, I can easily do that:)
So, when you write, you plan out the whole story first? Like, how it will end, a conflict, all that stuff? Before you even start writing?
reply

Forevermore · 1 decade ago
No, that totally makes sense. Haha:)
Definitely romance! Your romance stories make me so happy!
reply

Forevermore · 1 decade ago
Really?! That's so great! Hah, I'm really excited.
So, I have a few questions. Uhmm, do you think I should make a separate account for writing stories? And, my other question was, would you help me pick a topic or get my story started? Because whenever I write, I have a hard time starting off.

Hey there!
So, I've read some of your stories lately, and I really like them! I was thinking that maybe I would start writing stories on Witty! But, I was wondering if you might help me get started? Everyone loves your stories, and you're a really good writer. So, let me know what you think about this idea! Thanks:)
