The Cabin
c h a p t e r / / s e v e n
When I woke up, Kyle wasn't there anymore. So I decided to go downstairs. As soon as I stepped out of the bedroom I was sharing with Kyle, I smelled the eggs and bacon. When I got downstairs, everyone was down there already. Kyle smiled at me and set a plate down, I was assuming, for me. Matt and Ava already had their food.
"So, you should learn to keep it down." Ava giggles.
I look over at Kyle and he blushes. "I have no clue what you're talking about." I blush.
Ava winks and Matt just shakes his head laughing.
After we were done eating, we decided we would go down to the lake and swim.
Of course, we were going to take a shower even though we were swimming in a lake and would be in need for another shower. But, oh well.
I stepped into the bathroom that was connected to mine and Kyle's room.
I started to take my clothes off when I heard his voice. "Mind if I join you?" Kyle asks, eyeing my body. I was currently in my bra and underwear.
I blushed, suddenly feeling insecure. "Sure, if you want." I wink.
We got undressed and got into the shower together. I was feeling very insecure about my body, and all the bruises and scars. As I turned around, I felt Kyle's lips softly kiss the bruises on my back.
When we were all done, I got in my favorite blue bikini. And Kyle got in plain orange swim shorts.
We made our way down to the lake and it was beautiful. Of course their were other people since there were other cabins surrounding the lake. We all went swimming, and finally I headed out for a second. I felt a tap on my shoulder, thinking it was Kyle, I happily turned around.
"Hey, you new here?" A guy with dark brown hair asks me.
"Uh, just visiting." I answer.
"Well, you want to come to a party? You can bring your friends." The guy says, gesturing towards Ava, Matt, and Kyle.
"Sure. Why not?" I smile.
"Well, here is the cabin number. Come at 8. And my name is Kevin." He smiles.
"Well, Kevin. I'm Julianna." We shake hands and smile at each other.
"Julianna, who is this?" Kyle asks, running over to us.
"This is Kevin, he invited us to a party." They shake hands, and Kyle seems a bit tense.
"And Kevin, this is Kyle, my friend."

Chapter 1
"1, 2, 3 ,4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Amelia, show me how to do a toe touch THE RIGHT WAY." My cheer coach screamed at me.
I looked at her and took in a deep breathe. I jumped and pulled my feet towards my arms. I did a quick landing and smiled, "How was that couch?" I asked her gasping for air.
She nodded, "Good. You girls can all go. See you guys bright and early Monday morning for a 5 AM practice."
We all nodded and left the gym. We went into the locker room and collapsed on the floor.
"Hardest. Practice. Ever." My best friend Bree said in between gasps.
I took in a deep breathe and long sip of water, "You're telling me."
"What are you doing tomorrow Amelia?" Bree asked me.
I shrugged, "Nothing. I don't think. Why?"
"Let's go to the beach. Andi's coming back tomorrow from Michigan." She smiled at me excitedly.
I spit out the water I was drinking, "REALLY?" I screamed.
She smiled, "Yes. So tomorrow were going to the beach. Bring Anthony." She smiled brightly.
I nodded thinking of Andrew my boyfriend of 6 months, "Okay. Sounds good!"
After we changed and showered we said our goodbyes and walked to our cars.
I got into my car and heard my stomach growling.
'Don't give in.' I thought to myself, '2 years of starving yourself is almost paying off. You're almost there.'
I drove home with my stomach growling the whole way.
I walked into my house and threw my gym bag on the floor.
"Amelia?" My mom asked when I opened the door.
"Yes mom?" I asked her.
"How was cheer practice? Are you hungry?"
I heard my stomach growl when she asked if I was hungry.
"It was good and no mom I'm not hungry. Still pretty full from dinner. But, I'm going to shower and going to bed. I'm going to the beach tomorrow with Bree and Andi." I said going up the stairs.
She suddenly appeared next to the grand stair case, "Are you sure sweetie?" She asked.
I nodded and smiled, "Yes mom. Good night. Talk to you in the morning."
She nodded, "Night sweetie. Love you."
I took a long shower letting the hot water untwine my knotted muscles.
I got out of the shower and realized I had forgotten my towel.
I quickly ran out of my bathroom into the hall and grabbed a towel.
I wrapped it around myself and looked around hoping no one saw me.
I walked into my room and quickly got dressed in my cheetah print pajamas and a tight, black tank top.
I laid on my bed and looked at my flat stomach.
"Why can't my stomach look like this all the time,' I thought to myself.
I stood up and went to the mirror.
I pulled my shirt up and saw a bumb in my torso that I didn't want there.
I acted quickly and threw on my tennis shoes and ran downstairs.
I went for a long run.
I ran until my legs were sore and couldn't carry me any farther.
Then, I ran back home.
I quickly snuck in and went up to my bathroom.
I cried myself to sleep on the bathroom floor.
With my face on the toilet.
And my finger in my mouth.

your shoe size can tell your age:
1) take your shoe size
2) muliply it by 5
3) add 50
4) multiply by 20
5) add 1012
6) subtract the year you were born
the 1st digit is your shoe size, while the last digits is your age.
