Chapter 2
As I stepped out of the Limo, flashes blinded me and almost causing me to stumble. Lulu clutched my arm protectively, smiling and posing for the camera. I smiled with her, hoping the press hadn’t captured any pictures of myself almost tripping up in front of them.
Strutting over to the door, I linked arms with Lulu, smiling.
I whispered, “This is gonna be such a fun night.”
She giggled and nodded in agreement and lifted one hand to ruffle her pale blonde hair.
Lulu and I walked in through the double, glass doors and plastering smiles on our faces as we passed strangers we barely even knew.
“Come one,” Lulu said, tugging on my arm, I want to see the party.” She whined.
“Uh, that’s were we’re going…?” I replied, letting her lead me in.
I gasped when I saw the room. It was dark, with a few UV and coloured spotlights and bright purple fairy lights strung up.
There was a DJ, a bar, a buffet in a room nextdoor, which was lit brightly.
“Wow. This place is awesome.” Exclaimed Lulu.
I grinned at her.
“Totally.”
I followed Lulu’s gaze, which had drifted over to a cute guy with blonde hair and icy blue eyes.
Winking at me, she altered her dress higher, applied more lipgloss and smoothed down her hair before taking a step towards her victim.
Poor guy.
He didn’t even know what was coming his way.
I sighed and ran my fingers through my candy pink hair.
I strode up to the bar, my heels tapping on the floor.
Smiling at the bartender, I ordered a tequila.
I sat down on a stool and fished some money out of my bag, swinging my long, tanned legs while patiently waiting.
Handing the bartender the money, he winked at me.
I gave him a flirtatious smile. He WAS pretty cute.
He only looked about … 23?
Too bad I’m 3 years too young for him.
I picked up my tequila, sipping it through a straw.
I cringed slightly, the taste waking me up. Jesus, it was strong.
I spun the stool around, searching for someone I knew in the crowd of dancing people.
Feeling a light tap on my shoulder, I turned around on my stool, facing a stranger.
A hot guy. Finally, somebody has the courage to approach me.
With chocolate brown, layered hair and emerald green eyes, I instantly melted at the sight.
