   Chapter 6
   Dan went to the bathroom, and me and Josh had some time alone. "Does this kid look fimilar to you?" Josh asked me. "Nope." I said, looking at my phone. "I swear, I know this kid from somewhere." He said again. "How would you know him?" I asked, still on facebook. "No idea, he just looks like someone I know. I mean I thought you would know him, hes kind of flirty with you." Josh said. "Never seen him." I replied. I tried my best to ignore Josh, since this was a very akward conversation. Dan came back from the bathroom and was dressed in his basketball clothes. "Are you coming to open gym?" He asked Josh. "Oh yeah, I totally forgot!" Josh said. He ran into his bathroom very quickly and in less than 2 minutes he was ready. He ran out the door,"Bye Cass. Love you." Josh said running out the door. Dan was sitting on the bed very seductive saying my name. "Dan, I cant." I said. "Cassie, I just want to talk to you." He said. "Well thats suprising." I mumbled. "For real, I'm not that type of guy." he said. "Okay." I said sarcasticly. "Don't you have open gym." I asked. "I'm skipping to talk to you!" he said getting irrated. "Okay, geez about what?" I asked. "I miss you, and I know you made a mistake acouple years ago, but I promised you something and you graduate next year. I wanted to know if you would like to start "talking" again." he asked me. "Dan, I have a boyfriend. I mean it wouldn't be that hard except for the fact that he is your roomate. I still have feeling for you too and I would love to start hanging out and "talking" again. But its not the best time for it. I want you to keep your promise and have a family with you but its not a good time." I said. He gave me a puppy dog look. "Stop! I can't take it." I yelled, tackling him onto the bed, kissing him just like old times.

   We heard foot steps so we stopped, Dan quickly went back to what he was doing and I checked my phone. "My Mom already brought this?" Josh asked. "Yeah." I said not looking up from my phone. "Come on lets eat. Dan!" He yelled. Dan quickly came out of his room, "Yummy, Pizza Hut my favorite." he said, grabbing a slice. I grabbed a slice too, all the cheese decided to fall off, "Damn." I muttered, picking it back up and putting in back on the pizza. Dan couldn't help but laugh. I gave him a glare. "So what happened while I was gone?' Josh asked. "Well Lyndsey and Tyler broke up, Kendra and Jade are going to the mall, Amber is in Florida, Tash-." he cut me off, "Facebook, I get it." he said. I put my phone away and talked with the boys, "This is fun, I'll be coming here all the time." I said. "Thats a great idea! I'll have my girlfriend stay here every weekend! Perfect." Dan said. "What?" Me and Josh said at the same time, "Girlfriend?" I asked. "Stay here every weekend?" Josh asked. "I'm just kidding with you all, I don't have a girlfriend." he said winking at me. "Hey, you better watch it." Josh said. "What? Its just that shes just so beautiful, I can't help but kiss her, kiss her right now." Dan said. " No!" Josh yelled. "Dude, chill I was just kidding, you can have her. It was a joke ." Dan said. I just sat there smiling,and knowing that it wasn't any kind of joke.

   "Really?"Dan asked. I shrugged my shoulders, "I don't know how, or when. But I would like to be with you again." I smiled. "Oh, your too kind." he smirked. "Don't get your hopes to high, I don't know how this will work." I said. He gave me a puppy look. "It's not my damn fault!" I said. "Geez, I was only kidding." "Geez I was only kidding." I mocked him."Come here Cass!" he said, running up to the bed I was sitting on. "STop!" I yelled, but I couldn't help but laugh. He tackled me and pinned me to the bed, kissing me. I couldn't help but kiss back, and it turned into old times, I times I miss. When we could just make out whenever we wanted, and didn't have to worry about our new partners. "Cassie, Josh! What the hell." Mrs. Andrews said. "Mrs. Andrews, thanks for getting us pizza. Josh went to the directory to get another key." I said. "A little friendly with the room mate. I will just take that as a "Welcome" kiss." She said putting the pizza on the bed. "Save some for Josh, don't want this kid taking everything of his." She said shaking her head and walking out. "Tell Josh to call me." "Welcome kiss? More like I'm going to steal your son's girlfriends kiss." Dan said laughing. I just gave him a look, and we continued to kiss.

   I continued to walk back to Josh's car. I carried another box up, and set it in the dorm room floor. "Josh, I'm going to go get pizza for you and your roommate." Mrs. Andrews said. I stood there in the door,"I'll go with you!" I said to her. "No stay here with Josh. I'll be back soon." She said. "Well I have to go check in at the directory." Josh said, " I'll be back in 10 minutes. Stay here Cassie." he said walking out. I walked over to Josh's bed and sat there. "Cass, we need to talk things over." Dan said. "Like what?" "Us." he said "Us? There is no us anymore." I replied. "Do you remember anything?" He asked. "What the hell are you talking about." I said, quite mistaken. "That were going to get married after you graduate, and have a family." he said. "Thats when we were together! Its been 2 years! We moved on with our lives!" I yelled. "Chill out, I just want to work things out, I want to be with you." he said. I looked him right into the eyes, " Dan, you know sharing a room with my ex is going to help us out." I said. His eyes perked up,"Us?" he asked. "Just give me time." I smiled

   "Cassie?" Dan said. The second I looked at him, I knew I loved him. "Dan!" I said. "What are you doing here?" he asked. "Helping my boyfriend move into his dorm room." I said. "What room?" "456." Josh barged in. "Room mates!" Dan said. "Awesome." Josh said walking down to the elevator. "Cassie,your dating him? Way to down- grade." Dan said. I gave him a weird look, "Yeah, okay." I said looking at him. "Another college boy. Wow Cass." he said. "Jealous much?" I asked, with a smirk on my face. "Cass, its been two years, you don't think I haven't moved on with my life, my have you been mistaken." He said, pulling our his phone. "This is the new "dream girl". She goes to Virginia Tech, far away from Maine. But I love her, so it's all that matters." he said. "Pretty." I said politely, but really meaning it. "Jealous much?" he said back. I just starred at him, and shook my head no. He continued to walk to his dorm room, and looked back at me and said," We should hang out sometime, text me?" I waved at him and nodded my head, and walking to the elevator, to meet my 1/3.

   Chapter 1
   "Here it is, room 456." Mrs. Andrews said. (my boyfriends mom). I was at Sheffield College, helping my boyfriend move into his dorm room. Mrs. Andrews slid in the key, and we stepped foot into the room. "Wonderful." She said, cheerfully. Something about the room, just felt so familiar especially the smell. The whole room just seemed so familiar, then it hit me. I quickly showered and did my hair and makeup, and made my way over to Dan's dorm room. I slid the key in and when they light turned green I barged in. "Dan!" I shook him. He rolled over, and stared at me, "Oh yeah, doctor appt." He said, jumping out of his bed. In less than 5 minutes we were on our way to the office. *flash back ends* I looked around the room for any trace of Dan, and there it was, sitting on the mini fridge, a dry erase board that had printed PROPERTY OF DAN PETERSON. I couldn't believe my eyes. Josh's brother came up next with some clothes, " Who is Dan Peterson?" he asked "Must be my room mate." Josh said. I stood there is shock. Dan Peterson the boy I was in love with 2 years ago, the one who I screwed over for Josh. This can't be happening to me. "Babe whats wrong, looks like you have been hit by a bus." Josh said, he motioned my hand to follow him to get more of his stuff. Wouldn't you know who I saw but nothing more than my sophomore sweet heart.

   Its has been 1 year since me and Dan have broke up, he moved on with his life and I moved on with mine. I'm currently at the end of my junior year, and dating Josh Andrews, yes my ex. I was back on the volley ball team, and doing better than ever. Dan was the star basketball player this past winter, and now he would be the star baseball player. Over the year, I became an aunt! Turns out Maggie really was pregnant, she had a baby boy! His name is Ethan Robert, and shes getting married this summer! My life changed so much in the past year, and I bet so did Dan's. I get upset when people talk about him, but I get over it because I have a new dream guy. Also, Josh will be going to Sheffield University, and he will be playing basketball, that should be fun! I'm sure memories will come floating back when I go to the games. But maybe thats good for me. As you can see, I never really got over Dan. Out of all the boys that I dated, I miss Dan the most. He is truly the boy I'm in love with, maybe thats because he is my man.

   It was Dan! "Cassie, what the hell?" he said. "Dan, oh my god. I'm so sorry."I said. "Cassie who is this?" asked Josh. "Yeah Cass, whos this?" Dan asked. "Josh, he is my boyfriend." I said. "Cassie, I can't believe you. I WAS your boyfriend, its over." Dan said getting into his car. "Dan! Please, he just took me home, hes my friend! Dan please." I shouted at him. It didn't seem to phase him, because he kept driving right back out of the driveway. "Cassie?" Josh looked annoyed. "Why didn't you tell me, you were dating someone?" Josh asked. "Look, this isn't a good time, please I have to get stuff all worked out. I'm sorry Josh. Text me." I said running into the house. I ran into the house and up into my room, and all hell broke loose. I couldn't control my tears, they were coming uncontrolably. I dialed Dan's number, and got a muffled hello. "Dan?" I asked. He actually answered. "Cassie, why did you do this to me, I'm an emotional reck." he said. "I don't know why, he kissed me. But I love you way more then I ever loved him, just give me another chance. Please." I begged. "I'm not big on second chances, not even for the girl of my dreams I don't think I can." He said. "But Dan, I love you. We almost had a child together, and were going to start a family when I graduate, remember?" I said, crying. "Cassie, your too young for me, I just don't think this is going to work out. I'm sorry. It breaks my heart, but your just too young for me, and too much drama goes on with High School Sophomores. I just can't take it anymore." he said. "But Dan, please your the love of my life, my dream guy, your your my man." I said. I couldn't hear him on the line anymore, and that just broke me into a million pieces.

   I walked into the parking lot, to see all of the jocks. Most of them I have dated before. They all looked at me, and kept on with there conversations. Dan drove me to school today, and he wasn't at the school yet. I called him 5+ times and he didn't answer. I sat on the bench trying to call my family but NO one would answer. I waited for about 10 minutes. "Hey Cass, you need a ride?" I turned my head to see Josh, my ex boyfriend, who I was completely head over heals in love with, until he cheated on me. "Josh!" I said, "Please?" I asked him. "Sure thing."He said,I began to follow him into his nice car. "Is this new?" I asked. "Yeah, I paid for it myself." he said. Josh was a junior, and there was something about him that reminded me of old times, the good ol' days. Josh was sweet, cute, and knew how to treat a girl, he reminded me of Dan. "So how has Miss Cassandra London's life?" he asked. "Great you know. Just wonderful." I said. "Cassie, I really miss us." he said, I couldn't believe my ears. "What?" I said abruptly. "Cassie, I really do. I made a mistake letting you go. I really never should have." he said in a sweet tone. "Ahwe Josh, I miss you too." I said back. He leaned in and we kissed, and it wasn't just any type of kiss, it was a full blown make out. As we pulled apart, I realized we had been parked in my drive way. "Text me?" He said, I nodded my head and walked out. I couldn't believe who saw that kiss.

    I finally got over the whole "wanting to be pregnant" thing. I mean I'm only a sophomore, I have way better things to do than have a family now. I mean I wish I could be with Dan for eternity, but you can wait for good things, which I am perfectly capable of. The next day I was back at school, aka DRAMA. I missed alot of work, from being absent for all the doctor appoitments, so I had a lot to make up. After school I had to go to make up tests, and get my homework, which made me late for volley ball. Since I was late for volley ball, I had to run the mile by myself, and I can't play the next game. wow can this day get any worse? I thought to my self. I sat the bench the whole practice, because I was gone so much. I guess that was the end of my volleyball career this year. I think so. This whole scare of being pregnant pretty much ruined my whole high school career, and it turned out to be a false alarm. It's funny how so much can change in so little time.
    SHort chater leading up to the DRAMA. bababab!

    We waited in the waiting room for a while, until my name got called. We went back into the sonogram room, and the doctor put this cold jell on my stomach. I mean I wasn't that big yet, which concerned me. The doctor looked, with a puzzled look on his face. He continued for about 5 minutes until I asked, "Dr. Arnon what's wrong?" I asked. "Well I don't know how to tell you this, your not pregnant." He said. "Wait what?" I said, surprised. "Your not pregnant, and never where, lab result must have gotten mixed up." He said. "What about my triplets?" I asked, in tears. "You never were going to have triplets, is there anyone else with the last name London, thats pregnant." he asked. "I don't think so." I said. He left the room, and came back in a few minutes with two files. "Here is the other London, pregnant with triplets, Maggie London." The doctor said. "What?" I said looking at Dan. We walked out of the office, thinking that my day couldn't get any wore, but in fact I was wrong, yet again!

    I could barely go to sleep that night. I didn't even tell Dan I was pregnant with triplets, I don't know how I would tell him, hes a college boy not a father. These thoughts raced through my mind all night long. The next day I woke up, it was 12:30. "Dammit, I have to go." I muttered under my breath. I quickly showered and did my hair and makeup, and made my way over to Dan's dorm room. I slid the key in and when they light turned green I barged in. "Dan!" I shook him. He rolled over, and stared at me, "Oh yeah, doctor appt." He said, jumping out of his bed. In less than 5 minutes we were on our way to the office. "If your not series about this, then I'm not either, we can get rid of these babies once we have them." I said. He gave me a strange look, "Like adoption?" He asked. "Yes, we have to think about all of our options." I said. "No babe, I want these kids whether theres 1 or 6." he said. I giggled," Good, by the way babe, were having triplets." I said. "What the hell, where do all these babies keep coming from?" he asked. " I wonder." I said, checking him out. We pulled into the doctor's office, to see a familiar car in the parking lot, with two people that look so damn familiar. I just ignored it and went inside, to see my babies.

    "Hello this call is for Cassie London, this is Dr. Arnon's office." Someone on the phone said. "This is she." I replied. "Well we have a problem." Said the lady on the line. "What would that be?" I asked. "It seems that we told you the wrong results." She said. "So I'm not pregnant?" I asked, surprised. "Oh, honey, you pregnant alright, with triplets." She said. "What, is this some kind of joke?" I asked. "Joke, honey I would never joke about something like that." I was speechless. "We would like to see you tomorrow." She said. "Okay, that sounds good." "I'll see you tomorrow around 2." She said cheerfully and then hung up. "Mom!" I yelled. She ran upstairs quickly, "Yes." She said. "I'm having triplets. Mom frickin triplets." I said in tears. "Honey thats great!" My mom said cheerfully. "I'm never going to be able to finish school. My whole life is ruined. I want to get rid of these babies." I yelled. "Cassie, you have to have them, you can put them up for adoption after you have them, but that's you and Dan's desecion." Mom said. "I can't do that, I wish this never happened to me." I said. "Sweetie, it will be the best thing that will ever happen to you. Just wait."

    "Mom please!" I yelled to her, "I could really use you at a time like this." I walked up the stairs to find my mom crying in her room. "Cassie,your a sophomore." She said. "Mom, I know. But we'll get through this, I'm going to finish school, and college. I promise you." I told her. "It's not as easy as it seems, I hope you know that, and relationships don't always work out, and especially with a college guy." My mom said. "Mrs. London." Dan said, "I over heard what you said. I will never leave Cassie, I love her and I want to get through this." he said. "Your a good kid, but college is supposed to be all fun and game, and that usually what boys pick over there child and girlfriend." My mom lectured. "Children." I corrected her. "Mrs. London, I am not really a partier. I would pick Cassie and my kids over alcohol and parties any day. I'm not a bad kid." He said. " I just don't know, its too early to tell about you kids." She said walking out of the room. "Well I should go." Dan said to me. "I love you." I said kissing him. "I love you too." He said kissing me right back. To think things could ever get better than this.

    On the way back to my house, my cell phone started to ring. "Hello." I said. "Hello, this is Dr. Arnon's office calling with some test results for Cassandra London." Some said. "This is she." I replied. "Okay, well your blood test didn't really do us any good, but the sonogram did, your pregnant with twins!" The lady exclaimed. "What!" I said. "Your next appointment is one month from today, well call you so you remeber! Have a nice day!" She said and then hing up. "What?" Dan asked. "I'm preggnat." I said, hardly making the words out."Thats great." Dan said, leaning over to give me a kiss. "With twins." Dan slammed on the breaks. "Are you series?" he asked. I nodded my head. "Well great time to go tell my parents, the first time you meet them." I said, laughing. Dan shrugged his shoulders, as we pulled up my driveway. We walked into the door, to see my parents making dinner. "Mom, Dad, this is Dan. Dan these are the parents." I said. "Nice to meet you." Dan said, shaking my Dad's hand. At dinner, I could tell my parents really like Dan. They were talking about sports and college. Until I changed the subject, "Mom, Dad I'm pregnant." I said, scared of the answer. The both looked at me. My Dad just shook his head, and my Mom got up out of the table and left. "Can't we talk about this!" I screamed.

    "Cassandra London." the nurse said. I got up out of the chair in the waiting room, and followed the nurse to a room. Dan followed us. "Please take your shirt off and put on this gown." She said, while handing me a gown. "I'll be right back." she said, while shutting the door. I put on the gown, and sat on the table. A few minutes later a doctor and the same nurse came into the room. "Hello." said the doctor. "Hi." I said softly. "I'm Dr. Arnon." he said. "Nice to meet you." I replied. "I'm just going to ask you some questions." Dr. Arnon said. He took out a file, and wrote down some stuff, and started asking me some questions. "Are you pregnant?" "I don't know, thats why I'm here." I said. "Okay, seems like your a minor, you know that if the test results come back positive, your whole life will be ruined." he said. I shook my head. "Okay, were just going to run a few tests, and a sonogram. So just relax." He said. He must have been able to tell that I was nervous. After the sonogram he didn't say anything, he just wrote thing on the file, and after a blood test and several others, he left the room, with the other nurse. I got redressed, and sat there waiting with Dan. "I hope it comes back negetive." I said to him. "It is what it is, babe." After about 5 minutes the nurse came back in. "Cassandra, were going to give you a call when the results come in, were taking another look at the sonogram. So you're free to go!" She said cheerfully.

    "Here babe." Dan said, while handing me a beer. I took and and open it, and it wasn't the first one I had either. I was at a college party with Dan, my first one ever. I was making friends with some college girls, and having a good time. When I went to go get some food, I noticed Dan in the door way of the bedroom. "Come here." he said with a big smirk on his face. I ran up to him and jumped into his arms. Click. I heard the door lock. I couldn't remember anything else that happened.*flashback ends*
    "Did we?" Dan asked, with a stern look on his face. "I don't know, I can't remember anything." I replied. "Well, we should go get this checked out, don't you think?" he asked. I shook my head up and down, I couldn't talk tears were taking over my whole face. "Babe, well get through this, together. I love you." he said hugging me. "Stop, its okay." he said, wiping my tears away. "But i'm only a sophomore." I said, crying. "Babe, your fine. Let's go I'll take you home now." Dan said. I truly didn't want to go home, but I followed Dan out to his car. "I love you Cassie, we'll get through this together, I promise you." he said while kissing my lips.
