have you ever felt alone? even though people pass by you each day. like you feel as if your invisible to the world around you. like you could walk through walls. ur that invisible.
has someone ever told you that they would always be there for you, but failed to make an appearance. like you trusted them so much, but they never showed. like standing you up on a date.
have you ever cared about someone so much that you made sure they were cared for before you even saw the cuts on you. that they mattered more to you than you for yourself.
this is how i feel about you.
you mean the world to me. ive done so many things for you, when i didnt want to. ive been there when im sick of showing up. i nodded by head and said i was fine, but really pain attacked my insides. i wanted to make sure you felt important. that you were loved and cared for. that you were safe.
but even after ive done all this for you. im nothing to you. you push me aside and dont acknowledge my existence. i feel alone. invisible. like even though ive sacrificed what matter most to me, you dont realize it. i feel like i could scream as loud as i can, and you wouldnt hear me. that tears could cover my cheeks, but you wouldnt wipe them away. to me, you are my world. to you, i am nothing.
should i give up now? you dont care. and i know that. should i take myself, and leave you alone. make you feel the hurt ive been feeling for what seems like years. let people pass by you each day and let you feel invisible for once. should i be that cruel? that harsh. should i not care about you because it feels like you dont care about me.
no. i stay with you forever. even when im pushed to the side, i will always love you and care for you. you are the most important person to me. i look up to you for advice, i always have. you are my role model.
i continue to do what i do, because i feel like someway... somehow... you would do the same.
