I woke up the next morning, and i knew, by how early the alarm was, i knew it was school. First day, and man oh man was i excited. I jumped out of bed, and started the shower.
I got out of the shower and walked into my room. I grabbed a new pair of white skinny jeans, a black tight shirt, my purple hoodie and my black and white crica shoes. I changed into my clothes, and walked back inside my bathroom. I started to blow dry my hair, and then braided it into a side braid. I applied a bit of mascara, lip gloss, and then sprayed some perfume. I smiled then grabbed my shoes and back pack. I ran downstairs, grabbed an apple. I fed Stella and Dessert, grabbed my keys and called out to my dad.
"Love you!" I yelled then ran to my car. I turned my car on and pulled my car out. I turned into the schools parking lot, seeing everything. I got out, and was so used to Piper running towards me, that i felt sort of sad. I pulled my phone out and snapped a picture of myself and sent Piper a picture message saying I miss you! ]': how is school?! I sighed sadly and walked in. All i can hear was everyone talking, and i never had felt so alone before. I put a smile on my face and walked into the office. A women smiled at me, i smiled back.
"Im Ivory Gems, im, uh, new." I said awkwardly. She smiled bigger, and started typing on her computer. The printer next to her started to print out some pages, and she handed them all to me.
"This is your schedule, teachers that you may want to talk to for extra help, the lunch menu, and lastly your locker combo." She handed me the lock.
"Thank you." She smiled at me, and i walked out to my locker. I put all my stuff in the locker, and looked at my schedule.
"Earth Science, wonderful." I sighed, grabbing the notebook, pen and locked my locker. I walked into the classroom, and everyone was looking at me.
"Oh, im sorry. I just need directions to a classroom. Im new.." I said, a smile on my face. The teacher smiled at me, her blue eyes sparkled.
"I'm Miss. Angelio. Science teacher, You are?" She asked.
"Ivory, Ivy for short. I need directions to the Earth Science room." I answered, handing her my schedule.
"Oh, I have you 4th. Good to meet you early." She smiled, as she took the paper. I heard someone whistle, and people started whispering. I just shrugged them off, and looked at the Miss Angelio.
"Its down the hall. He is really nice, your lucky." She smiled and handed me the paper back. I smiled and nodded as i walked out.
"Thanks." I walked down the hall, and finally found the classroom. And here goes the same thing for the next few periods. Lunch was okay, i had spent it in the library trying to catch up, which was easy. It was English Lit, and by then, i was already used to everything. People starring, people talking about me, and the whistling from the guys. I took my seat in the middle of the rows. I heard people talking and walking into the room. I opened my notebook, and started doodling. My pencil tip broke as i was coloring it in. I got up to sharpen my pencil and crashing into some girl.
"Oh, i am so sorry!" I said, helping a girl.
"Its okay. My fault." She laughed. I looked up at her, she smiled. She had yellow eyes, and long red hair and a pretty smile.
"Im new, i mean my name is Ivy, im new here." I held my hand out to her, she smiled politely and shook my hand.
"I am Snow, Nice to meet you." She smiled.
"Pretty name." I laughed, she nodded.
"Do you need any help finding any classrooms?" She asked, i thought about it.
"Sort of. Can you help me?" I asked her.
"Yeah! Totally! Do you have a phone?" She asked. i nodded, she grabbed my hand and a pen. She wrote her number on my hand.
"Here, text me after school and we'll meet up okay?" She smiled at me, and i nodded. The bell rang, and i hurried to sharpen my pencil. The teacher walked in, smelling of too much collogue and my nose wrinkled. His eyes roamed the classroom as he started talking.
"Hello, How was everyone's week?" He asked, and his eyes landed on me. "Are you going to stay silent or introduce yourself?" He smiled at me. I stood up, and smiled at him sweetly.
"My name is Ivy, i just moved here and i like my writing." I smiled at him, and he smiled. "You are?" I asked
"Mr. Hemmington. Your new English Lit teacher." He said, a smile on his face.
"Thanks. Im happy to see what you will be teaching." And i sat down in my desk.
Soon enough school ended, and i smiled. I survived, and didnt have to punch anyone. I pulled my phone out of my locker, and my back pack out too. I texted Snow Hey, still meeting me at the fountain? Maybe show me around town?
She texted back Yeah, i will totally show you around(:
I sighed, and saw that i had a text from Piper. Miss you like crazy!<3 Talk to me later?(;
I answered back Yeah, totally!(:
I walked up to the fountain, and sat down on the bench. I started playing a car game on my iphone when some one tapped on my shoulder. I turned around to face Snow.
"Hi." She smiled.
"Hey, ready? Wait, did you ride the bus or a car?" I asked, her smile faded.
"I sadly ride the bus." I frowned, but then laughed.
"I, have a car." I smiled and walked towards it. Snow followed behind me.
Snow showed me around town, where to shop, best milkshakes and best coffee. I waved goodbye as i dropped her off. A Smile stayed on my face all the way home.
