um, excuse u. I didn't say "if your news covers OUR tragedy, we'll tell our citizens about YOURS" was NEVER stated. You made that up. I didn't say that I said it isn't relivant to the US and the UK (maybe you know, but not everyone) the typhoon isn't going to effect us in any way shape or form so maybe that's why there aren't many quotes about it. Just like if a typhoon came to the US and the UK it wouldn't effect them. This is a mainly american site so I don't get whats your problem. Goodbye.

it's probably because many wittians are english and american. Not to be rude but it really isn't our news. Sure it's sad but it really isn't going to effect us. Just like in Philippines, they aren't posting things about the boston bombing and worrying about it. Double standards.

Because like, 10,000 have died. And it's the worst land storm in recorded history. So it's a pretty big deal.

depends on the public school. if you live in a nice town, most likely you'll have a good school because people are paying higher taxes towards school. or if your town is a bunch of cows and they don't care about school budgets you will have a bad school.
