Andreas P.O.V
Today was the last full day I'd be spending with Jesse and I was upset.
Really upset.
Jesse insisted we spent the day together and I didn't protest because I wanted to spend the day with him. Tomorrow in the morning, I'd be in a plane going back to Australia. I arrived at Jesses apartment just as Ryan was about to leave. “I'm staying with Ross, tonight, I'll be back tomorrow,” Ryan said to Jesse. I didn't ask any questions.
“Good morning, beautiful,” Jesse said, kissing my temple.
“Morning,” I murmured.
“Bye love birds!” Ryan cried out. “Wait, hang on, Andi, come here so I can talk to you.” I followed Ryan out of the apartment and he smiled, sadly at me. “Tomorrow you're leaving, correct?” I nodded. “Don't break his heart.”
“Why would I do that?” I frowned.
“Andi, you're so naive. Jesse really likes you, more than he's ever liked a girl before and anybody can tell, you guys are meant for each other. I know you two haven't spoken about how your relationship is going to work as of tomorrow but whatever you do, just don't hurt him. He doesn't need anymore pain in his life.” Anybody could tell that Ryan cared deeply about his best friend and they were very close.
“I won't,” I promised.
“Well, I guess this is goodbye,” Ryan said
“Bye,” I mumbled, giving Ryan a tight hug. “I'm going to miss you,” I told him, honestly.
“I'm going to miss you as well, now go back to mr lover boy,” Ryan teased. I gave him a quick peck on the cheek before running back inside. When I saw Jesse, I gave him a big kiss on the lips, knowing that tomorrow I wouldn't be able to do that.
“What was that for?” Jesse said against my lips.
“I'm going to miss you,” I said, tears forming in my eyes.
“Come sit down,” he told me and lead me to the couch. I cuddled up to him, putting my head on his shoulder. “When you go back to Australia, do you want to be with me?” Jesse asked.
“Yes but-”
“Andi, if you were so sure there wouldn't be any 'buts' so, obviously not, now, tell me whats wrong.”
“Jesse, long distance relationships don't work!” I exclaimed.
“So, you want to break up, as of tomorrow?” I put my head down, as I answered.
“I think that'd be best.”
“Well for now, you're still my girlfriend,” Jesse said, kissing me, softly. “I got you a present,” he said.
“Huh?”
“Open it,” he said handing me a box.
I opened the box to find a silver bracelet with all different charms hanging from it.
