some if not all of the funding from witty will come out of his own pocket
this is nothing what like the original witty was (and don't say 'omg i know the old quotes were sooo good' because witty used to be for transfering profile data to AIM. no one really uses AIM anymore but, still, this website has become a collection of jocked quotes about 'totally 150%real ring pop proposals' and numerous quotes about 'how it's time to end it all because my crush doesnt like me and my family isnt rich' or WHATEVER, basically just nothing new, original, and non cheesy)
teenagers that cry and spaz and whine and moan and sob about their lives (let's be frank, most of us are this way, including at some times myself) have turned this truck off of the Progress Highway and down the Ramp to Insanity
i wonder what he thinks about the site now
change is good, that's for sure
but not if it's going in the wrong direction

there's a difference between being friendzoned
and being turned down politely
inevitably i do suppose you are being friendzoned both way, because the definition of friendzone is
'to turn someone down whilst mentioning ''i like you as a friend'' in the rejection'
but you have to look at the situation
someone shouldn't have to like you, just because you like them that way

i understand suicide is an issue and all,

i find it funny that some of the girls on here that complain about their hearts being broken or rude people
are actually mean themselves
maybe people don't open up to you or treat you nicely because
you don't deserve it

when you hear the quote 'if you don't do anything stupid when you're young, you'll have nothing to smile about when you get old'
that doesn't mean go out and smoke a pound of cannabis or go to 'the party of the century' and sleep around with 15 guys
it means actually enjoying yourself and not constantly trying to please others by acting cool
trust me, i know
the other day, me and my friends had cart races in walmart
we got kicked out after 4 races
but you know what, it was fun. it was funny. and it was stupid.
and i think i'll be smiling about it when i'm old.

Summer is eating ice cream with your best friends until your face hurts.
Summer is spending your time on Witty and realising that there's amazing girls out there that are just like you.
Summer is dancing in the sunset with a sparkler and feeling like a fairy.
At least, mine are like that...
All I can say is I know that NO ONE has summers like the Tumblr blogs.

Am I the only one on here that feels insulted when Witty guys all say 'If you're reading this, you're beautiful!'?
I get that they're trying to be nice.
And clearly, they can judge facial beauty on here because of profile pictures.
But, honestly, you don't know me.
I act totally different on here than I do offline, and my profile picture is different from what you'd see if you knocked on my door on a regular afternoon.
In real life, I'm bitter, and crabby. I do have some natural beauty, I will admit, but that often gets washed away by my negativity.
I appreciate compliments, and I think it's nice that you guys try to make girls feel better about themselves, but at the same time, and this is just my opinion, those compliments would mean a lot more if you got to know me.
(Say what you'd like, I honestly don't care.)

A 24-year-old woman narrowly misses the Eaton Centre shooting by leaving less than 5 minutes earlier, then 1 1/2 months later, she dies from being shot at the Batman movie premiere in Aurora.
She was going to start her dream job there when the NHL season started, doing post-game interviews for the Colorado Avalanche.
That is so sad.
She is in my prayers.

Yes, Witty's changed.
I've been lurking this site (not on this account, just visiting) since 2010, so, yeah, I see it too.
But things change.
You change, your friends change, everything does.
The bullying needs to stop, sure.
And good god, the jocking too.
But at the end of the day, no matter how much you establish, re-establish and re-re-establish that it's changed, what you have accomplished?
Nothing.
If anything's changed, it's the fact that now, there's always one more quote about how you 'miss the old Witty and wish it was the way it was before' than yesterday.
Accept what comes, and move on.
Change is good.
