1. I have never twisted, sprained, fractured, or broken a bone.

7. Last year, I tried so hard, to be like everyone else, to fit in, and all that earned me was a fake best friend, and a whole lot of tears. But over the summer, I realized, I'm perfectly awesome the way I am. I don't need to be someone else. I'm amazing, I'm wild, I'm crazy, and if people can't deal with that, then go find someone else. I'm finally happy for the first time since the 4th grade. I'm happy because I've finally found myself. And I won't change for anybody, because now I realize that everyone I wanted to impress so badly, either don't matter, or love me the way I am now.
8. I want to be someone important in my life. I don't know yet, or how I'm going to be someone, but I have this feeling, I've had it for a long time, that I need to make an impact. In some way. At first, I had always dreamed, even though it may sound nerdy, of being an astronaut. But now the space program has been practically cut, (which is idiotic I might add...), and then I wanted to be a nurse, but then I realized, I only wanted to be a nurse, to make my family happy. No matter how much they wanted me to go into medicine, I knew I could never do it. I'm terrified of needles due to some early childhood trauma. I literally feint at the sight, and I go weak in the knees and want to vomit when I see blood. But then I realized, I love reading, more specifically, I love writing as well. I do it all the time. I have hundred of stories saved on my computer or in various notebooks, I'd go a few chapters before getting distracted by another plot idea. Then I realized, I am not here on this earth to please someone else, I'm here to be me. I want to be a writer.

You were so embarrassed, but not because of the unmade bed, clothing covering every inch of the carpet, or the fact that there was a hole punched into the wall from a hockey stick, but because the only neat thing in your room was your bookcase,
and that you loved to read.
And by the way, I know you didn't plaster that hole, I peeked and it's only covered by that poster in your room ;)

I remember when I first met you.
I was 11 and you were 12. That was four years ago.
I was in the park, my mom and little brother, who was 6 at the time, had dragged me out to get some fresh air, Though I knew the real reason was so my mom could chat with her friends while we played on the playground. I remember walking through the grass, my hair was really long then, lighter too, and it kept whipping across my face from the wind. I had stopped to tie my hair up. That's when it hit me.
Literally, hit me.
A soccer ball had been launched in the air by two boys about my age, still in their soccer uniforms. And with my luck, it had hit me in the back of the head, sending me sprawling face first to the ground.
With a mouthful of grass I rolled onto my back, to find a pleading freckled face leaning over me.
"I found the ball!" Someone shouted.
The boy standing above me offered me a hand.
"I'm am so sorry! Are you okay?!"
his eyes were wide, even frantic.
As I got to my feet I replied "No, it's okay, I'm okay."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, I promise."
"I'm Asher, I just moved here from Colorado."
"I'm Avery, nice to meet you."
And just like that, our friendship was born.
haha, I was looking through my old diary and found the day we met, and how our moms became friends, so I decided to retell it :)

The other day my mom and i saw a blind woman walking down the street ,
I immediatley thought:
What is she doing? She could be killed! I hope she's okay!
but my mom said

Today I was having a really bad day,
i was sitting in the library, doing my homework, when a pretty popular guy I never talk to walks over and sits
in the little cubby desk next to mine so he can joke with his buddy who is on his other side.
Then his friend wasn't responding that well because he was concentrating.
I was sitting there doing my French when I hear a voice say something and I look over and he's pretending
to pronounce all my French words and gives his wide grin.
Then he starts talking to me.
Just plain old, conversation.
An honest conversation.
And when I replied, he looked in my eyes, and was actually listening.
Not joking around, but paying attention.
And it felt good.
You never know how far one small conversation can go.
No sarcasm. No flirting. No disinterested head nods.
Just someone to ask you how you are, what's up, what are your weekend plans, stuff like that.
It's the little things that makeup everything else.
