i've lied to you
the same way that i always do

The fool
starring blankly into space
boredom has overcome this face
not sure what to do
unsure where to go
memories keep replaying over in my head
like those times i was in his bed
while another was in his head
or the time i took some X
and ended up not being pregnant
the time he went to a game
kissed someone else who he could not tame
a relationship that lasted only a week
thanks to 2 friends who were very sleek
yet another obsession that was truly great
he found out he loved me a lil too late
finally a guy who loved me for me
however many did not want us to be
many situations i have faced
none of them with perfect style and grace
its the same old story, different cast
i always play the fool, and find out last
^ i wrote it based on my personal experience with guys and relationships
