No one's enemy
somewhere there is a child in pain
someone hurting them with nothing to gain
he dreams of a home where there is peace and love
Is it too much to ask for a mom to hug
a dad to teach you how to fix your broken tire
instead he was put into hell's fire
it's not his fault that he was put here
right now he perseveres
trying to handle his fears
so that no one will know
the pain he feels inside
a child is no one's enemy
nothing they can do is bad enough
these people think they are tough
hitting a defensless child
what they do to them is far from mild
how do we stop this? you ask
we open our eyes
we try harder
and see past their antic lies
i walked into a doorknob and got a black eye
i am about to die
i fell down the stairs
and broke my ankle and got this bruise on my side
just saying this if there is anyone out there that truly cares
always read between the lines
we need to put a stop to these monsterous crimes!
