The Time is Now
Prolouge
It was a cold day in October. I was hardly awake as I was sipping my coffee at the kitchen counter. I was wondering what was going to happen next. Was my mom going to be okay? Would she have to get the heart surgery? If only I knew where my dad was. If only I knew if my dad was still even alive. I had to find out these things. They were causing more and more emotional problems for me. I just sipped my coffee one last time before I went to school. There was one week left of my junior year. Thank God I only have one more year until I'm out of this dump. No one here likes me anyway. Except Brandon.
Brandon was the most amazing boy ever. He had shiny brown hair, and the most mesmerizing, vivid green eyes. He even had the cutest freckles on his face. Sure, he wasn't the star football player, but he wasn't the nerdiest kid either. He was a down to earth guy, who put everyone else before him. I was in love with him since I was twelve years old. I would never tell anybody though. Never. Ever. EVER. I mean it. Well, maybe I would tell him if he loved me back, but now I'm just daydreaming because I know he would never like me back. If he did, that would be a miracle.
I got in the car and started to drive to school. I was hoping the day would be alright.
It wasn't.
