I'm a gymnast. Iv'e been doing gymnastics for 3 years.
The gym I go to is considerd the best in my region
I'm level 7/10
I had a knee injury at practice where I had major surgery. I was out for 3 weeks, It took me a long time to recover.
I went back to my gym hopeing everyone to be excited to have me back. My coaches took me aside and told me I should quit because
"I wouldn't be good enough for their team."
I was heart broken
I cried for 3 days. All the work I put into. I quit. I f**king quit. But I didn't quit going home with nothing. A few weeks later I went to a completly new gym. A gym that wasn't known for taking the gold
I trained hard for a really long time. I wanted to build back up my muscle, and my confidence. I wanted to show that I still had talent. A couple months went by and competition season started
I went to a meet where I competed against my old school.
I did every event...and I took first place for my gym
I beat everyone on my old gym
I felt amazing
