   You want to know what's wrong with me?
   You nod and shake your head,
   far to eager to feel the pity and show false sympathy
   But there won't be laughter at my expense.
   What will I do?
   Put my inner most thoughts out on the line,
   Give you free reign in my head?
   Once you have it, you'll whisk me away.
   Tell me that I'm not right, those thoughts aren't sane.
   I never claimed to be, and I just KNEW I should have kept my mouth shut.
   Now I'm locked up, caged in, drugged down,
   The pills for my life just make me want to die.
   Now I'm mental AND suicidal.
   So, you may want to know my issues,
   but I wont spill a single word.
   CAUSE IF I WANTED MYSELF 'FIXED' I WOULD HAVE DONE IT BY NOW

   And it almost makes me cry to know
   That she might grow up one day
   And be just like me
   She might lie to her parents
   And hate people she hardly knows
   She might be too proud to ask for help
   Even though she needs it
   She might get accused of being dark
   Just cause she dresses like it
   I'll try so hard just to show her
   People are never what they seem
   But I can't worry right now
   Cause she's falling asleep
   And that innocent little girl
   Is safe
